All right guys welcome back to the legal gentleman youtube channel the regal jumping studio today, i'm jaden in the chat. How are you mates, i'm good? Thank you good good great. So what am i doing for you today? So i was thinking of getting shorter sides, so maybe like some sort of fade or taper or whatever you think is best okay, and i wanted some sort of like messy fringe at the front and they're really heavily textured and i've got a few pictures. Yeah show me: okay, yeah sure, yeah, okay, so something like that, but not too long at the top. Okay, maybe something on the sides, but i'm not really sure of my hair. If you'll be able to do that. Okay and yeah this sort of mess - okay, okay, um, every haircut - you show me - there's - got like weight yeah, so it'd be very hard to achieve that kind of texture. All right. Yours will sit much heavier than that. That'S right, um, something just inspired by this yeah! That'S cool yeah and okay, cool yeah! That'S fine! Well that i mean the kind of texture you're going to get is a more it's a more straighter texture right. It'S bet we might be able to. It doesn't move around a little bit. You know when you start squishing your fingers. It does stop. It does move around a little bit, but the problem is it's very unbelievable at the moment. So soon as we start to remove some length, you're gon na you're, probably gon na achieve more of a kind of um, slightly messy without the kale. You know if you know what it means, so you still just have a very heavily contextual haircut for sure it just i don't think you'll get that kind of loosening, especially in the second floating. The face ones will always kind of come back a little bit. Is that you kind of want the hair to be able to fall back a little bit because um, maybe not really? No? Okay, because it would just it would just kind of change the the method of the cuts? Because if you start your fringe as well yeah, you think you could probably move back to be honest. Um. You probably could to be fair down to my eyes yeah. No, we can. We can pick a length on that for sure yeah i mean i think you do shoot the fringe, though you definitely lost a fringe. You'Ve got a good face, shape for a very lean face already. So i think if we took this in a bit more because as you can see that side, it's quite asymmetric at the moment see that's where my fingers end quite long on one side um. So if we, if we can balance that, but still i think for you as well, i think for your face sheet. I think because it's too tight inwards, i think it would make it look long. So i think if we left it yeah with a bit more corner through here, we'll actually sit quite nicely but again down to the texture. I don't think you can go to town on this because your hair texture, you can just you - can utilize. So many different techniques, the only one you wouldn't do - is anything that is called too close to the roots. Okay, so like what we call a channel custom, you can basically pick it up and cut it and quite sure it wouldn't really work, but a lot of the techniques that we can we've got to offer. Really we can, we can do onions, all right, cool and back inside. Do you want to do a skin fade? Is that what you're, looking for or i've never done a skin pain before? Okay, i'm not really sure, because when my hair goes quite short, you can really see my scalp yeah yeah yeah. I'M not really sure you know. What do you not want to see self exposure? Would you like to stay away from exposure? I would like a tape. Is not as harsh, but you still get elements of scalp exposure right now so say, for example, we need to do because the back and sides aren't that long at all, really yeah. It'S really short. You know, that's probably only about a number. If you're talking clicker grades but like six, which is no longer, and so if you were to pick a length that you like, what would it be, what would the number be yeah, probably like a three or two yeah, all right. Well, like two and a half just uh, all right, two and a half, then that's enough, because we can't decide between two or three okay just doing two and a half much easier, and i know what we can do with the two half being the dominant length. All the way on the backhand side, why don't we just for a really good effect, just fade the sides out on the neck into nothing yeah, so i mean do that taper that kind of temple fade and what i think i'll do it. It won't be as harsh as what skin fit would be because you'll just be seeing scalp exposure down here and also on the neck. I just think it'd be a nice way of introducing you to some sort of fade in there as well um. Well, when i say faint more, it's a skin thing in the sense. I just think that the balance of having that kind of loose fringe as well - and i think it'll work really nicely as it goes. Mm-Hmm all right, yeah, i think awesome all right. Let'S get you started on me: good choice, man, good choice - i could take talk inspired, take talking today, okay, all right guys, so to start on jaden's hair, i'm going to put the fringe in first. This is a very important part about the fringe, because that's that's! What'S going to frame the whole shape of this hair because the texturizer and everything else it's all very important, but for me right now, i won't get that the the sort of the the length of the fringing that will dictate how she'll be on the top that'll. Take the texturizing we do where we leave weight where we leave length. So the first thing we'll do is put the trinket. So i'm going to take a section, we call it t-section, which is from just before the crown, when i say just before the quality in front of the crown towards the fringe. Okay, just taking the crown out of the way. Okay, it's only a half a centimeter - maybe maybe even a bit more, but it's just to get that crown going. Jaden'S crown on the right hand side here, because the way we're wearing it got an issue and the good thing is his last tape wasn't too high. So we can get this really nice and a shape in there as well for so straight down the middle to separate like so there we go and what we do is we put the syringe in there. So just you want to sit just on the eyebrows um. Yes, if you look at jacob's stranger's little cracker deadline right, uh, don't worry! Absolutely that's a salt hill anyway and i think the choice should take what you're going for it is it's age-appropriate as well, so i wanted to raise it. So what we'll do the hair is wet, so it will kick back quite shortly, so i'll do it just past the elbows to create that length is just slide it on top, like so just break it down all the way, all right. So instead you can see the finish on: that's very giant. Okay, obviously you just see i wouldn't get the same effect in as quickly as well. Keep that finish, nice and full and when it's straightened straight across, where we put the lid down pure texture that they will fall again like if you look at the pictures we use you're all getting inspired by them. So don't use that word because it's true everything's just been a bit of inspiration. Isn'T it you know you might not be able to achieve the look completely, but as long as you're inspired by it it gives you gives me an understanding of what your mind. What your mindset is about and what you're looking for as a finished result, so very heavily textured, is what we're going for. So that's what we're going to give so that even starting when i'm putting i'm always putting the primary shape and the secondary shape in at the same time. So if you are seeing, i am also adding the arrangement now. I know we have done a razor cut in the channel, i'm almost kind of adding the secondary shape in now. I just purely because this is a super visual haircut right. This is, this is heavily textured. This needs to be really visual, so i'm also almost kind of doing kind of two ways, one stone and doing it at the same time. Another just one more section now the good thing is even if this is a little bit longer than what you know. Jamie might want right now, at least at the very angles: we've cut it. We can't decide or go shorter, so i'd rather do. Maybe this might go, maybe a little bit shorter, whether it be high enough. I don't know, maybe never really know right now, but if, if not, we can always see the rituals and we do that at the end we can. We can pick at the end. You know during my glasses, you know what i like it. That'S something that works. Really well or it might go, you know what i'll go go a little shorter for me. That way, we'll just come straight back to this technique, comb the hair out of the way and take it to your simple as that, it's not going to take it. It'S going to take on a whole new haircut to create, so i'm going to utilize different tools for this to create a different type of texture. I'M trying to create just doing this towards the mid length and towards the ends of so i'm going to do a profile guide now through the center. As i want to maintain the corners when i bring everything up straight up and straight up and that will keep the corner in and then we can, we can emphasize how how big we make that corner with the product or how close we make that quantity as Well, so i'm going to start, i'm on the left hand, side of jd, okay, i'm going from the back to the front, i'm going to bring everything straight up so make sure the head is nice and straight i'm going to everything level, and that will leave this Section here longer to sit on the thing, so if you comb this down, they'd be left sitting over it. Okay, so i'm going to take a lot that much off all right. I'M going to do a really heavy point cut like so scoop a little bit out, and this is where your guide is now take the section from that side. There comb it into the garden side closest to you and there's a guide okay same again, as we get here pick it up, try and get it as straight as it possibly can pick it up like. So i'm going to use that as my guide, okay, everything's going to be coming straight up now, i'm going to take a section just off center and use the middle section which took as the guide to this side here: okay, pull everything straight up like so there's My guy okay, but i'm pulling everything back into the middle okay. What i do is over direct them to leave length in the corner. There'S my guide through here, if i load just before the round ahead. Let me use this section as a horizontal guide over the middle as our guide right into the middle again, as our guide connect it into that part of the guide there. Okay, so this is just about shape, so i'm just scooping this in front of the way. I'M just connecting it this bit here doesn't really need to be there. We can create a much more defined finish without leaving that just like running a little length on the on the temple there. You just like that. So we've left that corner later. Okay, but it's still well hold it, come over and then just like up like that, so one bit of a rough blend all over and this becomes our guide for the clip away as well so we'll level up to the fringe. So what we've done is this section here is the longest point through the top okay, but just by doing loads of different section techniques, you can create texture through the top as well and again just off center. Now, like so remember from the previous haircut, and we just pointed out a lot longer, don't be alarmed if you see more length coming off, it was longer anyway, on this left hand, side. Another section really harsh point: cutting all that asymmetry and this connection had gone on before just come off because actually went through that corner on top. That would create that more advantageous, and now you can see the rather shaping, which i want to accentuate, because it will really show even more as well all right. But as you look at the top - and you see how it's fallen really heavily touched already, you see all that movement sitting through there and that is just through again just a sectioning technique, working a profile bringing everything up to the center and then just cutting the Base here, but as you see, you can see the two lines of texture which it doesn't look like. You know what i mean, but you can see where the individual cuts have been done and the fringe is just sitting really really good as well. We always have left up on the front. Essentially what we can do, let's do some textualizing things while the hair's wet, so let's really really cut into this again staying away from the roots, because i need this to sit flat. Okay, nice big sections wide sections from above halfway, i'm going to slide really deeply into that to create a very, very jagged, finish, okay, but it's at a length through the actual section itself. It'S not too short to stand up. That'S why i'm doing it just above halfway sliding through now i'm taking really big sections, because if i take a small session you're, removing a lot more length straight up. Sliding right through do the same thing on this side here straight up, both fingers straight up like that nice big section, face, pull right back in section like so above halfway like that, i'm gon na do a lot of wet okay. So what i'm gon na do now is when i'm drying off, i'm actually gon na use some texture sauce right now, as i'm drying, because i want to see how this texture is coming about during the haircut. So i'm going to use some of our main texturizer salt spray spray it over the top like so and then just before. I finish just running from the crown with my fingers into the top okay. Now i'm going to create and try and create something to create a bend in this using a brush okay, so i'm going to dry it off first with your fingers and just wrap a brush around it just to see if i can create a bit more texture. So using a small round brush i'm going to work it like this across then, just as i'm working towards the front, i'm twisting the brush okay. So just from the crown okay, too much okay, cold air. Okay, you can also, if you want to you, can also split that frame down a little bit as well. If you want to it's creating a bit more different finish, which makes it looks quite cool, actually what you've done you've got you've just got my monitor. How you want to style it right to maintain quite a little bit of length through here and then we're going to take the other side and down this time by the side. Bends underneath works off quite well, so working with us with their jaden's simple bone as well, which protrudes quite a lot there she's just using that as a guide. Actually works really well to keep that shape, to disguise there, the protrusion and too far down, leave it down and then just pop it through the half all over the bottom. As well like that, there you go cool, so i'm gon na start the blending from the opposite of the bow. So from where i put the line in okay and you'll be pleased to know. I have a white comb, all right - it's not matte at all, but it still works now. What i'm going to do here is i'm going to blend up into the length more than starting and descending i'm going to ascend my go away. The taper that'll be a really nice arch into there as well, really accentuating the other side now, just replicating the left hand side, i'm going to start putting the fader down or taper. If we're calling today now bearing in mind i'm using this arch level with the the length of the fringe to create that nice sort of air kind of blend down into you, see like a little line disappear into skin, put that line first make sure it's nice And even again, this is going to sometimes really step away from the work and make sure that our line is sensitive now jaden. Is that fringe short enough for you? Would you like to think about your offer and sure enough? Okay, so we've got the length on the fringe now, so that way we can match the arch at the temple still lengthen. Here we left from before to use that as a kind of guide into the taper yeah, i'm just going to take her in around the ears a little bit just so. If you go down to number two, so you can expose the hairline when to put that nice curve around the earring now as well. The reason we put the line in now so the detailing, on the edge of the lining that i call it is so we can see the symmetry of our taper and also where we know we need to take the tape up to so we don't want to Cut it too far into the hairline, we don't want to lose the nice looping around the ear, the temple so by putting these in now. All that allows me to do is work with these, like almost like guides for me as well. So, let's do this other side now as well. Detail the edges category: okay, very short movements, excellent, closed off, open blade, make sure, okay, just using throw it off what we can do, i'm going to click over home in a minute to shut it off now same thing on the neck. Now one guard on leave her open up and off just keep dropping it below the occipital okay. So i'm not looking to create scalp exposure a little bit a little bit harshest of the taper. That'S my knockout five! I'M just working through the lever now closed cap. Leave it back this your file we can up and off just before the opposite will run like. So that's a close guards. That'S all! I want pulling off a little bit lower down this time, knocking off to the same height as the other side, just working through the lever get down to zero one guard back on this way. You can use the lever to look fine onto my trimmers again on my one cone, i'm going to perfect the taper on the sidebars, just using my clone off to make sure you give it any darker areas. So it looks really nice blend it down one. The engine will be there um. Finally, we'll work on the crown just connect all this in through here all this heavy weight that we left from the t-section and also from where the blender was just match up to where the sides connect it like. So it's going to take a little bit off, not too much, i'm just taking a little point off just straight up in there. It'S just very specifically here. Just one point cut it in to just fill any sort of heavy areas. So you can move about a bit more as well like so as much i'm just picking over my fingers a lot of ruin, i can't actually drive in yeah. I want to finish this way pretty this connection to the front like so and now last one. Basically, i'm gon na finish off slightly beauty of this texture. Here is that a height, but even when there's no product in it, because it's so straight and so thick it hides the texture, it doesn't look choppy or like chunky or anything. That'S all you can see. There'S texture in it, but it doesn't look like you've just kind of cut chokes away, which we haven't done in a good way. So right, so we've already dried in some of the balmain texture software, i'm actually going to use the foucault claymation. For this i was going to use a powder, but i feel like i want something heavier. I want to try and keep in as much of that kind of movement that i've dried in as well. So a little bit of clay. Okay, i'm going to do i'll! Show you how much to use using about sort of fingertip size if you should roughly like the pea size amount. I always try and say: okay, now, i'm going to apply it in a sort of scrunch method. So more than just working like a shampoo like you normally would i want to try and really break up the hair and i'd like to get like as much try and use that kind of inspiration to show with the kind of movement in there and they're kind Of slight wave and kale that wasn't else you know curl, but we can try and create some weight, so i've warmed this up. Now it's gone completely clear on my hands and start the crown i'm gon na weigh this in to the hair like this, almost massage. It into the hair, okay, i'm just flying down the finish, and then i'm just gon na bring it and tap it down like that. Texture we've just put in there as well i'm just going to re-twist and scrunch like so like that, but i mean i'd say: the majority of texture came from the section through the top. I think that's where we've got a lot of that movement coming through. Also, we've got length removal shape. We also got texture in there as well and then obviously slide cutting razor wig at the front, really help with that as well and obviously keeping the weight in the corner to create more around the finish, which makes it sit really sharp in the jawline. I think it's great it's just a little chance of having a too heavy undercoat that might grow too too well and which they all look quite heavily undercutting which the curl you know you've got if you've got the hair type, but jaden's hair's. So straight he just a little bit loads of length and just random, and so that's why i thought it was quite nice of that and that's it happy yeah. Thank you very much. Thanks very much. You

Jaden Yee: Heyyy Dan, thank you so much for the haircut. It was an amazing opportunity and experience!

Nether Crafter: I’ve never heard a barber in my life say that my face shape will suit a haircut. This is definitely something barbers should put more focus on because this is key for a haircut to look good. You can re create a haircut to the t. But if it don’t suit your face shape it can look terrible. Well done on this cut my man!

Jamie Monkey: As a hairdresser and barber for 30 years. It's nice to see a bit of talent and skill on a YouTube hair video. I never follow barbers on YouTube but I will follow you.

Kamil Rekowski: This is pure artism, thank you Dan for the content, for the thinking likewise about the hair

Fred Paul Aguilar: Another great hair idea, this looks perfect on him. Might try this as well soon. Brilliant!

Dan: Good to see a haircut on an Asian. Would really like to see other styles other than a fringe haircut if asian clients request them!

Fahim Hassani: The cut is amazing. It suits him and you textured it very good.

Shaun C: Love watching a master at work! As an ex stylist, these videos keep me up to date with styles. I personally would have liked to put some wave and texture in his hair before commencing with cutting it, by carrying out a curl service. Weave perming the top and sides, then putting a soft wave in the front area. This would have given the cut more texture and definition. Thanks for your hard work and dedication putting these excellent videos out Dan.

BlairWarner: I dry my hair like that too! But I will take the no-crease clips and pin it in a wave form while still warm. Great technique! Get into it!!

Derek Newyen: Nice to see a similar haircut done on an asian as well, came out amazing with the textures

4D331z: This is the haircut that everyone gets and this is a BRILLIANT BRILLIANT VIDEO. YOU'RE A PERFECTIONIST PAL...SUPERB JOB.

Robert Law: Good looking guy and a nice cut!

sharkdawgy: What razor do you use Dan? Love your videos! I hope to drop by your shop when I'm in the UK.

Multifandom Kpop: A haircut that I've been looking for because high fade haircut or bald fade haircut is too extreme ,I prefer a natural haircut.

MrPixof: Hey Dan, let me know when you plan to come to Paris ! I need you so much to find the perfect haircut for my face

james piaoan: Back on early year 2000, we call this Student Haircut for H.S. , almost BarbersCut only the shorter bangs version for C.A.T.

MATINNUFAEL: Can someone please tell me the difference between a slope and a fade please

ink: This guy is really sweet.

Tan: this is perfect for me. I'm gonna go bald then regrow all my hair. I'm near London how do I book in?!

Jay C: So weird. Was up late last night watching your videos on cropped cuts with choppy fringes. Now this has been uploaded

Lunar: Is there a difference between this specific cut and the two block?

Scissors: It’s very hard to understand you because of the. Echo. I enjoy watching your haircuts. Thanks

EZ Miracle: Holding back tears for him

P: Those lips make him look so innocent...
