Hey guys and welcome to my channel for those of you who new here welcome, my name is Leanne. I photos of the art, no welcome back guys if you're not already subscribed guys. Please go ahead and do so click the subscribe button right now and if you're building an application is it on please go ahead and click the little bit notification, so you'll be updated every time I do. I upload. Ok, let's get right into this video. So today, I'm gon na share with you guys how I maintain my new cut that I got so I got this texture to cut. If you haven't seen my previous video, where I style it, I'm gon na link it up above. So you guys can take a look at that. So you can go watch that, after this video or even if you stop this video go watch it and then come back so yeah. So I'm gon na be show you guys and share with you guys the tools and products that I use to maintain it throughout the weeks I just washed my hair and I just restyled it. It'S been two weeks since I did that last video, so this is updated, mold and wash, and everything that I have in my hair. So I'm gon na show you guys how I prepare it to go to bed at night and then in the morning time, when I get up how it's gon na look okay, so this is how the style is looking like I said I just washed my hair And restyled it and it came out pretty beautiful. I love it still good and last time I relaxed was June 7th. So I'm about that's like three weeks. There are three weeks right. Let me double check. Okay, so June, seventh, one two three weeks: yeah well four weeks, so it's like a month since I relaxed my hair and it's still looking good. This is my look. I still got my little lines, so my husband, he kind of fresh in me. He fresh him up once with me when was on vacation, so it is still in there and it back still nice and tapered. I like, when I taper because it'll last so long and that's all looking so I'm gon na show you guys how I wrap it up for the night. There was a learning curve with this cut, because this is my first time ever. You know having this cut. So I had to learn how to prep it and you know: pin it up for the night and I'm gon na be sharing that with you guys so in case you decide so got ta cut like this. You know how to take care of it. Didn'T I yeah, so I can't have to learn what to do and to just do so. I'M going to be just using some bobby pins that I have here my rat tail comb and I got my way call this thingy my knitted wrap for my sides, and then I got some coconut oil here and I'm gon na explain what I do. The cooking oil in a few seconds, okay, so to prepare for bed. I also have my um my bonnet right over here. I got ta go for it so later on in the video we'll move, my bonnet, so we got with that. Okay, so first thing to prep is I get a couple? I'M gon na get a couple bobby pins. A couple of these bobby pins, the Prada I'm gon na pin Curtis way. I want my hair to be nice and full on a fluffy when I wake up in the morning, so I ain't too worried about science, but the part I want to be fluffy is this piece right here, so this is where I'm gon na concentrate on doing My pin curls for the night, so I'm gon na take a bobby, pin and start pin curl in my hair yeah, the pink curl is gon na work for this style. So I'm gon na just gon na take piece from here like starting from the top and pin curl every place. I want volume to be so I'll, just roll it and just pin it down. So here I'm painting down like that, so I'm gon na continue doing this to the center and yeah we're gon na just speed up the video a little bit just to see you sometime, okay, so this I know we are going to be paying curling it in The opposite direction, because how my haircut is like a comment like Lear's like this way, then in the front, and then this way so I kind of Pinker on it in the direction that a cut is going. So, as you can see, these say see going that way you can see so that's the direction. I go Pinker of it and there we go so that's about it. Well the pincurls everything else or to just leave like because I like it like that. I like big dissatisfied and then in the morning I'll just take the white to cool. Excuse me. That'S me I'll, take the way to comb and I'll go in each direction and just fluff it up. So now what I do is take my knitted cap, my necktie drop cap, and I just take. I place it under my back on my sides. I think this and just like this, then I bring it down slide it down with it back and then, when I finish with that, I'm gon na get my bonnet, I'm put on top hold one sec on the meat. Okay, okay! So not! Oh! That'S on! I'M! Just gon na take my bonnet and put it over me. Then of course it's on the wrong side, but most okay, yeah and then that's it ready to bed go to sleep, that's how I prepare for bed and then in the morning when I get up. This is all what you do take out: the panic checkout thing you read about it a bit and see if I see that it looks dry or whatever. This is where I take my coconut oil, I'm gon na taste a little bit just like I did that not so much about a loose make a little a little bit just to get some order. My friend and I patted in and then smooth it down and then I'll just start, taking out my bobby pins, the novelty, a Big D comb and just fluff it up, and I just do like this in the direction that guy showed you guys. My guess and I just play with it until I feel like a leg, how I look and, like I said before this style, asks me two weeks until I have to wash I'm molded again, that's about it for this video guys. I hope you enjoyed it. If you want to see more pixie cut videos, I'm gon na leave them linked right here in this video. Peggy Sanders: Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! I stopped using a flat iron 3-4 times a week on my pixie a year ago and I noticed a HUGE difference..healthier looking and fuller hair. I only use it once a week on wash days and I started using satin covered rollers at night for curls. The only problem with them is if I lay a certain way I can feel a little tension or pulling of the hair at the root from the rollers. I'm sure over time that was going to turn out bad so I stopped sleeping in them and would get up early enough to put the rollers in for a couple of hours to get curls. After seeing this vid...I decided to go for the pin curls and I must say they are MUCH easier to sleep in, I don't have to worry about slowly pulling out my hair, and I have pretty curls! My hair is cut exactly like yours and this vid is beyond what I needed.

Tanya Michel'le: Your hair looks so full and healthy! I brought some coconut oil and I love it on my hair! Thanks for the info and the video LeAnn.

Leann DuBois: Hey guys! So what I've learned with this cut is Pin Curl @ night = pixie with volume .... No Pin Curls @ night = flat/sleek pixie -xoxo

Roshanda Cummings: Leann, thank you! That was *so* helpful. I just got a relaxed pixie from natural hair and had no idea you could keep a style from your flatiron for up to 2wks. This night routine video was clutch.

Genie Pyt: This pixie cut looks really cute on you! Thanks for the tips!

Bahje: Love your videos. How often do you relax your hair and which one do you use?

Mrs D: My hair ends up a bit messy when I try to pin curl. I know it's not good however, I bump my hair on low heat with heat protection every day for work except weekends to get the va va voom in my hair Your new short cut looks fantastic on you. I'm in the middle of grown my out now. I fancy a long bob.

Felicia Freeman: Love watching the video!!!

Joey Wilson: When are you going to buy the small flat iron, dieing to see which one you're going to use, by the way love the hair.

Teish Hollis: Beautiful! What is that black wrap thing YOU use to lay your edges? My hair isn't trained...sadly!

Dezeri Smith: She in love with the co-co cute style.

Mary Sanders: Hi you have beautiful hair style I love it

Rauni J: Leann I have a question I just recently went back to perm after being natural for 12 years I’m happy I did. But I’m having issues keeping my pixie cut lying down do I have to train it because I’m using all the good stuff to keep it in check niroibi silk scarf wrapping at night and so on I think Maybe it’s the color which I put in 3 months ago blonde I’m going back black it looks sleeker to me. But yes I think it needs to be trained to lye down. You hair is everything. ❤️

Shana James- Suckrajh: Do you go to a professional to get your hair cut? Your styles look so professional.
