Everyone it so I am back with another video and today I'm going to be coming at you guys. Today, I'm going to be showing you guys my favorite go-to hairstyles for actually short hair. I have seen a lot of short hair hairstyle videos on YouTube, but most of the time their hair is at least to their shoulders and they can easily fit it into braids and buns. And so this video is for those of you who have hair. That is kind of too short to put into hairstyles, but you want to put it into hairstyles anyway, I got you right now. I am currently in the process of trying to grow my hair out a little bit longer, but it is still around chin length. So there are not many options hairstyle wise, but I do have a few that I love doing so. I'M gon na show you guys them in this video. So first things. First, when I get out of the shower, I like to blow-dry slash brush my hair kind of straight, I say kind of straight because it ends up looking something like this Meyer is or was naturally curly before I completely damaged it with bleach and heating tools. So I kind of have to do something more with it. Otherwise it looks like a mess, so once my hair is completely dry, what I like to do is go ahead and grab a curling iron and I will either curl all of the ends of my hair. Inward curl, all of it outward or do a mixture of both. If I want my hair to have a little more texture, so for this video I am going to go ahead and curl all of it inward. I leave the curl alone. I don't brush it out. Yet I do my whole head hairspray. It was a little bit of hairspray, let it cool completely and then go ahead and brush it out with my fingers. So once that's done, you could just wear your hair like this as a hairstyle, but I never do. I feel like it looks like I forgot to finish doing my hair, so with that, let's jump right into a hairstyle number one. So this is definitely the simplest and the easiest hairstyle, and it is my pho victory. Roll look for this. I just grabbed two statement hair clips and then I will section off a piece of a hair at the front side of my head. I will pull it up, give it a little twist, pull it to the back of my hair and then push it forward. A little bit so it kind of poops out. I feel like that's what gives it the foam victory, roll kind of a look, and once I have it in the position, slash shape that I want in. I will go ahead and add at my hair clip and that's it that's the hairstyle yeah. This is probably the result that I wear the most because it is quickest and easiest to do so. Moving on to hairstyle number two, this one is a half up. Half down ponytail with a bow and know I don't have a more creative name for it, so we're just gon na roll with that. So this hairstyle is once again super simple. All that I want to do is section off the top of my hair into a high ponytail, so I am not going to take the entire top half of my hair up into that ponytail. What I am going to do is section it off starting at the top of my ears and pulling it diagonally up to the crown of my head. So once I had that sectioned off I'm going to go ahead and secure it with a hair band and then I'm going to tug at it loosen it up, mess it up a little bit since I do like to loosen it up so much. Sometimes the hair on the side starts to fall out, since my hair is so short, so I will go ahead and secure it with some bobby pins and then I'm good to go and then I will go ahead and add my bow. So I'm just going to tie that into a bow over the hairband and that's it that's their style. So, moving on to hairstyle number three, I'm going to show you guys how I do my Mikki buns space buns bear buns, literally whatever the heck. You want to call them, so I am going to go ahead and make sure that my hair is parted down the middle on the top, and then I'm going to go to one side and I'm going to section my hair off diagonally, like I did for the Ponytail, but only on half my head so once I have that piece of hair sectioned off what I like to do is take my finger and replace it in front, and then I will take that piece of hair pull it over my finger and then bring it Around town, so again I will just take that piece of hair pull it over the top of my finger to the front and then just wrap it around. Underneath my finger to kind of create almost like a hair type once I have it wrapped around, I am going to secure it with bobby pins use as many as you need, and then once that's done, I'm going to, of course, as always loosen it up mess It up a little bit. I'Ve seen people do like a million different ways of how to get your hair into that bun shape. This one seems to be the most consistent for me, so hopefully it works for you guys too. So next up is my last and final hairstyle. This one is probably my favorite because, as somebody with short hair, I have spent so long trying to find an updo or a hairstyle that I could do to pull my hair up and back and not have to worry about it. So I'm glad that I finally found a way to do that. So this is my full French braids hairstyle. So the first thing that I'm going to do is middle part, my hair, all the way down the back. What I'm going to do for this hairstyle is grab a small section at the front of my hair, and I give it a little twist and I'd pull it to the back of my hair and push it forward the same as I was doing with the other Hairstyles and then I will bobby pin that in place. Then I grab a section from the back right below and I will do the same thing, but I will twist it pull it to the front and then push it back. A little bit and bobby pin that in place. I will keep doing this all the way down so grab a small piece from the front twist it a little pull it to the back, push it forward, so it puts out a little bit and then bobby, pin it into place and then grab another piece from The back pull it to the front. If you want this hairstyle to look a little bit more cleaner and like actual French braids, then when you are alternating pieces, make sure you try and cover the bobby pins as you pull it to the front or to the back. Since I don't really care - and I like the messy look - I usually don't really worry about that and since the ends of my hair are curled, they kind of form. These little spiral shapes on the back, and I really like the way that looks so. I'M going to keep alternating that process all the way to the bottom, and when I get to the bottom, I'm going to leave that little bit of hair. That'S usually too short to do anything with, and I am going to take a little elastic band and put it into a mini, ponytail, repeat the process on the other side, and then you the completed illusion of french braids, even though your hair is too short to Actually put into french braids, i especially like to do this hairstyle when it is really humid out, because my hair does not like humidity instead of frizzing up my hair, just kind of waist down and gets really flat. So when i put my hair into these french braids, i don't have to worry about anything. It'S really nice, so those are all of my go-to hairstyles for short hair. I always chop it above the shoulder so it's just floating there, since my hair is slightly wavy and at that length the waves look best, but my new hairdresser cut it WAY too short, and now 1 side of my hair curls outwards and 1 inwards woohoo. And I always have layered hair so I don't even have enough hair to tie it up. My hair is already dying, so I guess I'll just have to wear clips in my hair everyday :)
