3 Ways to Style a Long Pixie Haircut - Classic, Pompadour and Natural Wave

In this video, I'm excited to show you 3 different looks for a long pixie. Each of these looks would also work for a bob and can be used for different ocassions. We'll cover a classic bob look, a funky pompadour which was inspired by Julianne Hough's Golden Globes hair, and a natural wave look you've probably seen on celebrities such as Michelle Williams.

Hi everyone, my name, is Jenny streety and today I'm going to show you guys how to do three: simple styles for your pixie cut. Now this is my model Kelly and the other week she was in and I gave her kind of that long, pixie cut. So I'm going to show you three different variations of how to style it now, just because her hair is shorter, doesn't mean that you, ladies with bobs, can't achieve this look at home. So, let's get started start with towel dried hair, apply a silk mean serum for a sleeker style. Today I used elixir Ultima by Kyra sauce gently comb out your hair and blowdry. At the same time, when you're using a comb with your styling, it's important to always blow-dry the direction you want the hair to lay, in this case, you're blow-drying, the hair down for a sleek effect after the hairs dry touch up the ends with a flat iron To create maximum sleekness today I used a GHD one-inch flat iron finish. This look off with a spray shine. I like to use spray shine by catwalk, use your blow dryer on cool air setting, as you're spraying spraying into the hair. Alright, so there you guys, have it your classic style to your Bob. Now this is pretty basic and very casual. You can pretty much wear this style anywhere for a funky. Pompadour look apply hockey, thickening paste by bed heads and root blue spray by catwalk at the roots. This will give the pompadour height and hold that is required for the style blow-dry. These products, in with your fingers, moving the hair upwards with the hair on the top go ahead and tease it slightly for added volume. I finish this look off with a spray wax. This is going to give your hair texture and hold alright. So there you guys have it a more progressive style for you, ladies with Bob's. Now this was inspired by the julianne hough style that she wore at the Golden Globes. It'S a little bit more progressive and I just wanted to show you guys how taking out your product just a little bit can definitely make a big difference in your styling. So I use the thickening paste opposed to the silky cream and it gave tons of volume and texture start with dry hair. I prep the hair by using a Khakee thickening paste, buy Bed Head, take one to two inch sections and use a flat iron to curl and add texture to the hair. The key to this look is to not make it look perfect, don't overthink it just do it utilize this technique throughout the hair finish this look off by using a spray shine for texture and separation. Alright, so there you guys, have it a fun way that you guys can style your pixie cut now has a little bit of movement has a little wave to it, and a lot of texture and you've been seeing this look on Michelle Williams. She wears it all. The time and I just love it and it's adorable on my model here and don't forget to subscribe to my channel for weekly, hair, tutorials and information about hair. You
