In this video, she is going to cut off a couple of inches, some layering, and give her

hair some shape. This is also a perfect spunky haircut. To start it off, RaDona is cutting 2

inches off of the back. For the side, make sure you tilt the head but also keep it level not up or

down. This will make it look good for the front. RaDona then starts doing the layers. With

layers, it will lift up the hair a little bit. This is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to lose a lot of lengths but still gives it a lot of movement and make it look fuller. This curly long to medium haircut and hairstyles are perfect for anyone with thin hair who is wanting it to look fuller. Youwill want to bring the hair up and cut off the whispies. This will make the layers look good when styling. This also helps prevent curly hair from getting frizzy and have fly aways.

In the front, you cut down at an angle. To blend in the front to the side more, you will take off the “step” / corner of the hair so it goes blends better. This will really shape the face. For

texturizing, you do not want to use razors with curly hair. Just make sure you use texturizing

shears. You will want to use it just in the back so you don’t thin out the already thin ends. This

haircut is perfect for anyone with fine, curly hair. Make sure you do not use the blow dryer on

curly hair. If you do use it, you need to make sure that you use the setting on low and go with

the hair. Never go against the hair. That will make the hair get super frizzy.

To sum it all up, this curly long to medium haircut and hairstyles is perfect for someone

with thin, fine hair. It is perfect for anyone who wants to shape their face and give some more

volume. This video gives you and explains to perfect products to use on curly hair.

For products, RaDona uses her “magic products”. For curly hair, it is really hard to find

the perfect product since curly hair is harder to style. The perfect thing for that is Monat’s Root

lifter. This will give the clients hair some volume. Then you will use the Monat leave-in

conditioner. You will only want a little bit, and add two drops of Monat’s Rejuvenique Light oil

and add it to the hair. Then you will use Monat’s curl cream. You will only use a fingertip

amount. This will keep the curls soft and smooth. She will then use a little bit of the Monat

hairspray. Then you will use Monats refresh and go. That way, you do not need to get the hair

wet the next day. It will refresh the curls.

My friends, I have the coolest story and such a gorgeous lady, you can see this is Lila. She actually come from Mesa Arizona, so she her husband drove yesterday. They stayed in a hotel, and now I'm gon na cut her here today and she seriously is like even more gorgeous in my started to be curse. You I just I have to like say that anyway, she is absolutely adorable and I'm so excited to cut her hair. So she found me on my channel on the YouTube channel and I loved it. She said she watched from like eight till 1:30 in the morning. It was like, oh so it made me feel so good, so you're so sweet, but anyway we are going to do a new fun haircut for her and we're gon na get rid of some of this length. Quite a bit actually - and you can tell this - was all curly - I'm sure why wasn't much curl up here, but she has these fun calyx. So if you out there have these calyx. This is a great haircut for you guys. My sister in my house is also so with the Catholic, like that you either wan na long enough to like way back down, but we don't want to deal with it right so or if you go short, you keep it really short, so she hasn't had its Work before back here, so we are gon na change that and we are gon na, do that so anyway, we're gon na start back here and what I would do is come to the hairline and of course, I'm gon na take my little buzzers and take take That off there, but I'm just gon na, come straight across here. Okay, so I can just I'm coming straight across here. Just combing that down okay, same thing over here and that's what's gon na be fun is when we go short she's. She won't have to deal with that. We'Re just gon na take the little buzzers and just clean this up. It'S just gon na show off her gorgeous face. I mean I'm just really excited and to choose change her hair, which is gorgeous before also, but it's just fun, she's, just ready for a change and she wipes height on the top, which is nice. This is a great haircut for that and so yeah she's just ready for a good change. Okay, what's up, I can't see she's ready, okay, so what I'm gon na do here? Is I like to start here to see how how long I want that, and I want it really easy for her, so I'm going to come out it's gon na be about. I would think two inches long here on the top see if that's enough, we might even wan na go tiny bit shorter. Okay, we're gon na point cut into this also - and this is a great cut for for calyx, like even back here and stuff. The way I'm gon na dry it it just gives it movement. The other thing I would love to talk to you guys about is when we was talking earlier about earlier about her hair same thing is my mom. You know my mom's hair is more fine and you know it's kind of a little bit scary to like do a lot of texture, because you feel like your hair. You know it's too fine too thin like you wanted to to go kind of crazy, but it actually will help. So when we get to that point, I will let you know so, I'm just coming in tight. We just want to go tight and take this in. Oh, that's to me so cute, okay, I'm gon na come up here on the top point cut into all of this just gives up movement. Do you like the sound of that we went all that hair follow? Sometimes it freaks people out? Sometimes they love it. They'Re, like good, keep cutting away okay and you can follow the guide point like you'll you'll, be able to see that as you come down from obviously the pieces that you'd cut before well, that is gon na feel so good when you go to wash it. My dear you, don't have all that to do with or try to get it to go in its place, we'll just keep it short. Okay. Now I'm kind of I'm pulling this out at like a 90 degree angle until they get to the mid um area from the ear down, and that's when I start to angle in oh that is seriously just looking so cute. Okay, now I'll do I'm just gon na pull this hair in front of her ear, just pick it out of the way? Yes, so this area over here when I get down here to cut and kind it down by the bottom um, she has just always struggled with this area, and so I am super excited to do. You know this cut on her, so she doesn't have to do with it, because who I mean really when you have an area on your hair, it is so annoying. It'S like. I need to fix it or something, so we are going to fix it for you. Just do it short, it'll be great, yeah, okay. So now, after you cut that what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na kind of move, her ear a little bit with my comb, I'm just gon na cut this straight down and I'm gon na cut this kind of on an angle and then well And as soon as I'm done with cutting this side, I'm gon na show you what you do over here to take care of that part. So just one second we'll get there, but we're just gon na cut into this, like I say just try to try to point cut, make sure that I have lots of movement. We love lots of movement and we love love to get rid of all that. That is just looking so cute anyway. This is you guys. This is such a great cut for a curl, and even even if we go have more curl up here like this. Is such a fun cut for curl. You could just add some of the curl cream in there and let it air dry and it would be absolutely adorable right. Well I'll, send you something. So you can try it because really you can scrunch that and just throw some of that in it and let it air dry and then once the air dries. Then it just rising. That'S curl like doesn't have silicone or anything like that in it. It just strives in a soft curl and then you can just even kind of take your hands through it and and it just it's fun, so yeah I'll send some of that home with ya. You don't love it okay and then, of course, I just bring that forward. Like I did the last time. I can't wait telling done done and you see it and feel it. I love it and what a cute husband to bring you all this way, yeah! That'S so nice, so so nice, oh see. Oh, we need the guys to watch these videos. Then no, that's so cute! I love it. I love it. I had a Pat from Orem come down and her husband's like Orin. Why are you coming from and to go to Nephi to get your hair cut like 45 minutes, yeah serious? It was so cute and then he come and he seen her hair he's like well yeah. Maybe I'll come back and get my haircut. I was like okay. I love it that is so fun so yeah. We need the guys to watch these haircuts right. Yes, okay! So now what I'm going to do is take it it's more of a fine like a tight comb and OOP. Sorry, all right, I'm moving the camera. Okay! So what I'm gon na do is I just come this way and bring this out and we're just gon na tighten this up through this area. So you can see you know, that's obviously her cowlick, that's holding that out. So we want to just keep this tight. Then you just bring it up and I'll turn it this way. So you can see a little bit better. You can always push against the cow it to this way, to get the little hairs to poke out where you want them, so you can get them trimmed off and then it it's gon na be nice because she's not gon na have to deal with any of This down below it's just gon na be tight enough that it just dries right down. Yeah we was just talking. I might have to go back out and see her and cut her hair there. It'S so nice, it's like double the temperature here or there than it is here. Okay, going home with you. No, we need to go. We need to go back to some warm nice weather right, yeah, exactly we'll just we'll trade off it'll be fine. Okay, so you see how that's tight, okay and then what you want to do is take your little Clippers soon, as I'm done just make sure you get that tight enough to where it's not gon na poke out in the bottom you're gon na get ready in, Like five minutes, then you're gon na be like we're done. That'S fast, we've been stayed in contact, so it'll be fun. You can text back and be like or call me because oh right see, so, OH in fact, I'm glad that you brought that up because a lot of you out there probably like thinking the same thing like. Oh, I can't wear it that shirt. You know I needed it longer to go against the cowlick. You know to weigh it down or whatever, but know it. This is awesome, and especially for a short fun cut like this, like a pixie that we're gon na. Do it it's so great to have this short okay, so you can see I'm just like cleaning this up a little bit. You just shape that we want okay, okay, so now we have this that cut in tight. We will finish the cut and then it looks like okay so, and I want you guys to notice like so. If I lift your hair up, see how it just falls, I'm going to show you what texturizing can do so and obviously you know we're cutting off a lot of length, so that obviously helps you know take some of that. The weight see exactly so she's ready that when you, when you see that, follow you and you like that, that means you're ready yeah. So you can just kind of depending on how long the person wants it and that's obviously how much you're gon na take off off of that talk. Now she likes to have some fullness through this area right here. So if you have a client like that, you're gon na want to make sure you pull this out enough to where they have enough to cover those areas. If that makes sense, so I'll show you in just a second okay. So you can see this back right here. That'S that's the length I'm gon na go off of, and I just come straight up. Just gon na take this bulk and take that off and Lila. That'S! What'S nice about like a haircut like this and and your curls and stuff like if you can't get it cut like right off this cuts, gon na grow out good. You know what I mean: it's not in them. I totally totally love you. So that's a nice thing that is so like this area, where I was telling you make sure you hold this out so see that length it's just falling out, so I don't take anything off of that. So make sure you hold that out enough to where that length can fall. So you don't take any more of just her link that she has there and you like it over your ear. Is that right, a little bit over your ear a little a little okay. So we'll bring it up a little bit. I'M just gon na do this on an angle. Okay and then this part is super fun because we can just take this opening and closure shears lightly. Not like don't chunk chunk it out just lightly back and forth back and forth in just a minute, I'm going to have her fill the back, so we want to get little hairs on your forehead and then, if we need to, we can take more often we're Done: okay, so now this side same thing: we're gon na bring that out. Okay, remember with this area, make sure you just hold that out enough. That falls down we'll make sure it connects, but we need to make sure that there's nothing like there, you doing. Okay, I'm doing great awesome. You bet. Okay, also just hold this. Oh again, like the other side, just bring that down and just take your shares, open and shut, open and shut softly to piece that out so they're, shorter and longer hairs in between make sure we're all even alright. Okay, then, I always like to turn them to the mirror, so I was like to hold it out this way. I can film a little heavy over here, so I'm just gon na take a little bit now. The bang area - okay, we're gon na hold this down. Just barely cutting to the edges here and then we'll take the shears like dim when the hairs on the forehead. It'S just. We can kind of see how it's given lady and remember the curl. It can always shrink. So you want to kind of like loosen it up a little bit and then so that's about about the right weight. So I am just gon na piece a little bit out right through here and then we want when we're done. If we want to go shorter, we will I just with the curling stuff. We want to make sure it's okay, that you have nothing, that they don't shrink too much. Okay, now, texture time. Okay, so just take a deep breath legal! You got this! No! It'S like my mom's bird was too and then every time you do it she's. Okay, I just look okay, so just hidden this top you're gon na come up, I would say half inch to an inch. This is what helps your hair stand up and have movement, and I was telling her so I had washed her with our volume shampoo and she could even tell the difference after we watched it. She'S, like oh, wait, feel thicker anyway, and I explained to her that what it is is it's the volume shampoo that actually things expand your hair strands, so it feels thicker yeah she's, like definitely can happen. Okay, so I'm just gon na come up here and sorry. Is that all on your face this area? Just because I want that length there, but I want to make sure see, there's a tiny bit of a corner. I want to make sure that that connects with the site. Okay, so that's enough texture and now what we're going to do is add the products in so Kayla. This is the root lifter and what you do is you spray it just all in this room area and you'll love it with all these calyx, because it's just gon na help, but stand up so you won't have to like put it into place. You know what I mean, which is always nice blitz, yes, yes, and and if you guys out there, if you have that you have that count that split side. But this is a great because it just moves back and forth and then just one squirt of the mood stuff. All you need and you can see how concentrated and you know how some of those disappear. Yes, it in your hands, this one, you can see it! It'S actually really really concentrated, so once word of that and then just a tiny bit thickening spray and you just just barely you - don't want to too much of that. Okay, so now the fun part. Okay. Now the back you're just gon na drive in like that. That'S just it's cut down will be easy. You can just use your fingers to kind of drag it in and down, and then your site you're, just gon na, take I'm going to turn from here and just gon na kind of drive these a little bit forward. Like this okay, your site and then up here, you're going to like move, move your hands back and forth, of course, while you're driving it and then when it gets about 80 percent, drag and I'll, show you what they do with that brush we've got just back And forth, with your finger in this unit like this yeah take yours, you know your your seniors back. You want to do is fill this, see how it's kind of it's a little bit damp, see it's not wet, and it's not dry. It'S kind of back in between that's when you're gon na come here. Every brush in here you're gon na go back and forth and then take this and just cream it take your brush. Where do you want to go getting back to Richard Perle? Just before give yourself, aha yeah, exactly don't be nervous, she's been a tough period, I'm not going to be overly so yeah just got four men after use the comb. You know it'll help just hold it up with the comb, and so then I just wait to come back around with my blow. Dryer just make sure it's all dry cases that strike now. So all of you that don't have a flat here or something like that. We can just put the stuff in her hair, we don't need to go in and and we can make it fuller. But I just want to show you that, because you can see how that's just I'm gon na just show her how to style it without the flatterer. Okay, if you have a flatiron, absolutely just grab it pull straight out, pull straight up any of them. Okay, two little drops of the oil. This just adds shine and it can actually condition right. Then there it said it doesn't weigh your hair down, actually will kind of suck into your hair like to condition it, and it makes it super shiny. Okay. So I add that it first and then the clay. This is what I use for the replacement of distortion or manipulator, and that's actually probably you really don't need a lot of this stuff, so you can just rub it in okay. Then you just come up here. I didn't really want to put her into the mirror cuz I wanted it done and then turn her, but it's all good! You get a peek okay and I'm gon na show you guys in just a second I'm gon na take a little bit more off through this area and then, of course, the back. I'M just grabbing up that it's great these calyx or go it's great. It'S great back here, so I'm excited to show her yeah exactly I'm for real. It'S gon na be nice. Okay! So now just bring this right right like the longer here. Yes, I'm just gon na. Is it okay? If I just take like just no do you want it thicker like this, so we can get it out right right, right, okay, so what we're gon na do? I'M so glad that that you said that we're just gon na take this pin comb and backcomb this and get heard that that pipe through there that she's used to and the fullness, because, of course I just write it so you're probably feeling like it's. It'S not there, you know what I mean, because I I just write it and haven't poof it well, it didn't feel like it wasn't full enough. I was just nervous about having this any shorter right things. Okay, perfect, perfect! I love that. That'S good! Okay! You guys! Thank you so much for watching your so so funny how they would come, and I appreciate it probably your supporters, so you guys have a great day go ahead. So how are you guys see ya you? You

Regina Snuffer: I wish you were in my area. I'm 53 and I've pretty much never had a beautician cut my hair like I want it. You are so talented. You care about what the customer wants, take your time, and really are a true PROFESSIONAL!! So many of the younger stylists I've gone to recently seem to really lack the skills to give a premium layered cut. So disappointing. You're an artist! Thank you for putting your all into every cut to ensure the best outcome for your clients!

Angela Hagood: Love the cut and style! I also love the color of her hair. Thank you for listening to her desires. That must be challenging to do sometimes, but you gave her what she wanted plus other options. I like that! Great job!

Cheryl Bohnel: Thank you for this video. My mom asked me to give her a haircut. She is overdue because of COVID-19 closures. She has short, fine straight hair. She gets a perm every 3-4 months and I think it looks ridiculous. I have watched your video and will watch it again. I am no stylist professional, but have done hair cuts over 50 times. I cut hair while in college to make extra money 20 years ago. My experience came from watching professionals like you. I cut my sister and brother's hair as well as my own. My mom needs a new style. I will try to take before and after pics using your instructions. THANK YOU!! This was an awesome video. She will have no interest in the hair products that you used toward the end of the video. Neither she nor I have any interest in a need for that. The video was great with the cut instructions. I may try to convince her to use some hair gel on special occasions. LOL. Otherwise, I think this may work really well for her. Thank you!!! Cheryl

Rebecca Sharp: I love this video! I used it on my first DIY pandemic hair cut. It gave me the confidence to do it. I can't wait to show this to my stylist, when I go back to her. Thank you so much.

Chris B: This style is one of my very favorites! This is what I strive for when I style my own pixie, however my very fine straight hair doesn't always want to cooperate! Great job and beautiful ladies!

AJ Silver: It makes me happy to watch your videos! I am trying to learn how to cut my 95 year old grandma's (who is in the nursing home) hair. You are a great teacher :)

JR: Ra Dona, you are an awesome hairdresser! I used to cut my own hair so I could get it done the way I want. Now that I am nearly 70 I can't cut it anymore and having a hard time finding someone who listens to what I want. The last hairdresser cut off my long sideburns and left the back chunky and odd lengths, I had to go home and put it in some kind of order.

Linda Arnold: That is a great cut! Exactly what I've been looking for. What was that brush you used? Looks like it make styling so much easier! I'm going to show this to my stylist.

Mary Hodges: I LOVE this cut!!! I’m going to show this to my stylist ♥️

Michelle Bunning: Unbelievable!! How fantastic...thank you for the in depth step by step. What are the product names you used for Lela’s hairstyles?

Lisa Marie: I love this cut on her! She looks beautiful! Such an easy hairstyle! Love it ❤️

coco cain: Fantastic cut, looks absolutely beautiful. Wish I could find a cutter in Australia as good. Just gorgeous!❣

Barbara Boyd: Love Love LOVE this! I've worn my hair long my entire life but am finding in my 60s it drags my face down. I wear it up most of the time but how much easier would it be to just have this cut!! I've had so many bad haircuts I'm terrified of finding the wrong stylist. Do you have any suggestions on the right questions to ask?

Leigh Saldivar: She looks adorable! Love it ! Great job!❤️

Melissa Morrison: She looks adorable! Love it ! Great job!❤️

Kim Proffer: Such a beautiful lady and I absolutely love her new style! Awesome job! ❤️

donnab6464: RaDona, I absolutely LOVE your videos and your haircutting. This cut was so beautiful and fun. The woman was gorgeous and had beautiful hair. I have a lot of cowlicks myself. I have to go to your website (I signed up for your emails) but I would love to make a trip to you for a hair cut. I live in Nevada and I believe you are in Utah....Thank you for all your videos.

Nancy Fairhurst: Love the cut! I have same cowlick at the neckline but was always afraid to cut it that short.her curl does help with that style. Wish you were closer! Terrific job

valerie kelly: Another fantastic haircut ! It frames her beautiful face perfectly x

Dandelion 123: Gorgeous! And you’re so precious! I love the way you treat your clients.

Debbie Taylor: I'm 65 and have been looking for that kind of hair style but no one in my small town can cut hair like you. She looks so nice and classy. That's what I want.

Cyndy Meeks: I’ve worn mine like this for 22 years. It’s getting harder to find anyone that knows how to do this cut. I get a good hairdresser then loose her/ Him. I’m so glad you did this video so I can show my next dresser. I usually just say Jamie Lee Curtis cut and they go from there off her picture. It’s always hit and miss. So frustrating. My hair is so very fine and sparse.

Elizabeth Netzer: Love the cut! Wish you were here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada! I never come away from a salon liking what has been done. Blessings and hugs, stay safe and virus free!

Lise: This is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully done❣

Rebecca Sharp: I love, love this video. I always watch it before I do my pandemic DIY haircuts. This will be my 3rd DIY haircut. It really helps me. My cuts aren't as good as yours of course, but I've been happy with the results, so far. Wish me luck tomorrow! Also, I know Lela is from Mesa, AZ, where are you located. I am just curious due to your conversation about weather and such. Thanks again, for being an inspiration!

Jeanette Scott: Such great technique. Not many hairdressers cut with precision like that. Xx

Kim: There goes your magic fingers again!!! I love how excited you get when you know how good the cut is going and that its going to look great on her!!! BEAUTIFUL

Doreen Johnson: Love this cut! The fullness rocks!!!

Karen Franklin: Fabulous look! It works so well with her type of hair. She looks great.

Irene Nottoli: Love the cut on this video! I have short, thin, curly hair would love if I could get a hair cut from you!

Carla Lane: Beautiful cut and style! Your videos are so relaxing.

Sandy Crichton: Looks great Thanks for sharing!

Cynthia Logan: The cut suits her. She looks fabulous. Great job!

Cathy Marble: I just realized I watched this a year ago. She is ready for the Red Carpet...just WOW!!!

Style67: Beautiful haircut! I have a question. See how the back of her head below the occipital bone goes in, I have a male client with that head shape. So is it best to hold your fingers at a 45 degree angle to cut that area as opposed to holding the hair straight out at a 90 degree angle?

C Pearson: Love the cut and the style, she looks great!

Ginny Murfin: My hair is too short for using a flat iron, so a curling iron works great! Do you ever use a curling iron on customers?

Linda Swenson: I love this cut. I'm a retired stylist and love watching you cut. Where do you live? I would love to get this cut!!!
