So, hey guys welcome back to my channel and today i'm going to be showing you some creative things that i do with some customers that have hair loss. I want to show you like give you some ideas: the customer that i'm working on today. She has hair in the back and she's lost her crown due to different medications. She did not want to cut her hair in the back. She wanted to wear a short hairstyle, so i decided to use a 13x6 frontal, as you can see, she's natural and i'm going to cut it and then i'm going to relax the back. We decided not to do a full lace wig because she did not want any. You know irritation of wearing a wig glued to her neck that doesn't work for everyone, so we decided just to cut the back and i'm going to go in with the top. With a 13x6 so that you can see how creative you can be, you know using different techniques, and you know just switching it up and making it convenient for the customer. Oh uh, okay, so i'm going to use an actual 13 by 6 frontal and it basically covered that entire area. So i thought it was a good idea. You know to use that and allow me to leave. You know the back out, so i just kind of want to measure it and make sure everything will line up. So i went ahead and i cleaned up. You know those hairs in the top and now i'm applying her relaxer okay. So i'm gon na go in with some adore on top of the pre-lightened 13x6 frontal, and i really like the color. You know when i saw it in the store, so i just decided to use it on this frontal. I thought it would look really nice on her skin. Oh, oh uh, okay, so i decided to mousse her down before you know applying the unit um you can do it either way, it's totally up to you. So i put under the dryer and tweeze the unit. Now i am prepping it so that i can make sure that i place the glue in the proper place. So after that i'm going to go in with my skin protect and i'm going to make sure that i protect her skin. Always now. I can go ahead and apply i'm going to use the bow hole, active, i'm going to use thin layers and i'm going to apply it around that entire area front to the center, so that i can make sure that this unit is going to hold i'm using An applicator and you can get the applicator on our website. It really makes it easier. I know you guys see me like using my finger when i apply i like using this. You know i'm coming around. You know i'm always stuck in my ways, but i'm coming around this pretty much gets it pretty flat. I just don't like popsicle sticks, okay, after that first layer, i'm gon na go on top of that first layer with my bow, hold lace with tape and make sure you cut it properly make sure you leave that slit in the middle. That way, it's easier for you to get those white tabs off after the first layer, then i'll go on top with two more layers of the bow hole, active notice, how easily it comes off. I'M using my tweezers going back on top with the bow hole active. I want about three layers i had the first layer was the bow hole active then i did the tape. Then i went back on top with two more layers of the active. This is going to ensure that i have a great hold okay. So now it's time to apply, because the glue is clear, i'm going to go ahead and apply it across the front and then i'll make sure i attach that mid section of her head, i'm applying it like. I do normally in most of my videos making sure that when i do apply it to the glue i'm pressing it in this will ensure that i get a very, very tight hold okay. So now i'm going to proceed to cut it, i'm going to start on the sides. First, i'm cutting that ear out and if you have little excess, you can always go back and add glue is not a big issue. Okay, so i'm gon na go in with a razor. I'Ve always preferred a razor on my weaves because i feel like they look more natural. It doesn't give you that straight cut where it's obvious. You know, depending on the style, and you know what you're doing. I really don't want a straight cut. A lot of people have a hard time using a professional razor, so this is one that i you know use here on youtube to show you guys, you know the simpler way to make it look as natural as possible. It helps the hair flow. Also guys like you, don't have to use a razor, you can use your sheers. This is just what i prefer also guys like. You don't have to use a razor, but if i don't use a razor i'll point cut, and that is, if you look at how i'm holding though the hair and the shears i'm pointing directly into the haircut, and i will slither cut it as well, because i Don'T like a straight cut on weave unless and i'm doing a chinese bob, you know or even how that may land on the face like i may not want it straight across. I may want it a little um jagged, but it's totally up to you. Oh uh. Oh uh, oh so here i am over directing the hair with the flat iron so that i can create a little volume in the top. You know and i'm combing it out, so that it has that soft effect. I really love this. This is an everyday look. Anybody can wear this hairstyle, it's not too much. You can wear it to work. The color looks really really nice on her face. Guys. Tell me below, like what you think, i'm actually gon na show you another look that you can do with this style as well. Okay, so i'm actually going to take that same 13x6 and i went ahead and did the application i rolled that hair prior to i even added a slight wave on each side. Now you don't have to do that. You could do that while it's on, because i did go back in and wave it and you'll see me do that as well. I kind of like just did it because i wrote it prior to um. It'S just a matter how you want to do it? It'S up to you, i wasn't really sure if it was going to be, you know to my liking, so i just kind of like played with it, and sometimes you have to do things like that. So i went ahead and i applied it and i weighed just a small portion of the top into her hair. That'S why i was saying you guys could have just waited to do it. I just was playing with the hair, so you could have waited to just go ahead because you could wave that uh the size of the 13x6 on it after see where i'm applying the moves, you could apply that, after you just put the whole unit on, but For whatever reason i just sometimes i'm just doing things so you could have put that on there and wave that in there it would have been just a one shot. One kill. I really didn't know if i was even gon na like it. So i just was, you know, playing with it, okay, so i'm still going to go on top of it with the iron. I just did a soft little wave, i'm just going to go in. There add a little bit more definition in here and i'll just comb. It out with my comb, if you notice, i'm curling it and you know just giving it a little bit more um a clean touch. I feel like the curling iron uh makes it look even better, since i'm doing a soft wave now right here, i'm doing a reverse curl, where you curl it back and then curl it forward, just to give it a little pixie look really really simple and easy. For half of my life, I was subject to wearing wigs, or wish I could wear a different look with confidence. . I remember going into a salon to see if anyone could help me understand what was happening with my hair, or for help, only to leave with tears and humiliation. There was no privacy with the consult, the stylist and the people laughed... I never stepped foot in a salon since. I now shave my head, my granddaughter wonders why I have no hair, I tell her the truth, and let her know, no matter what that it is important to love yourself for who you are. I'm sure there are others who are afraid to come forward not knowing that there is this type of assistance for those with Alopecia. Thank you dear for your artistry as a master stylist.
