Pixie Braids (Tutorial)

Hey, what's up YouTube, so I got a new hairstyle. Now the hair styled I'm rocking is some pixie braids and before I go any further, let me just tell ya: I just took three days to do and it was I don't know it was like hell like seriously. It was. I don't know how many hours the exact I spent on this hairstyle, but I took a lot a lot, a lot of breaks when I was doing this, like I always do when I had my hair and bracelets with I do a washing my hair, usually shampoo To get all of the dirt out - and the shampoo I used was the Shea Moisture con. If your hair's, like really really dirty, you might wan na use a clarifying, shampoo but yeah, and then I used the deep conditioner. I did the leak air and then I used a regular basic condition and I think it was the VL 5 coconut, the 5 coconut coconut milk, or something like that. So the hair that I used was not connect along here. I usually don't use connect on here. Cuz, I mean they both work about the same, but what you want to use is the stuffy Jumbo hair yeah. It'S like synthetic fibers. The reason why it's better to use this hair, then Kanekalon hair is because this hair burns better at the ends, like I think, Kanekalon hair, see it says like flame retardant or something like that. One thing that's important when you, you know twisting up braiding your hair. What I did this time was moisturize my hair, before, during and after before I put the braids and then after I put the braids and moisturizing my hair with extra virgin olive oil, you can get it from Walmart in the cooking section and while I was burning, My hair, some kind of hold it down all the way I used the Murrays superior hair dressing taught me, and once I got done, I just made up this little thing with. I think it's water, grapeseed oil and extra virgin olive oil just to moisturize my hair dating overall. I really like these braids and I'm gon na try to keep them up for four to six weeks and for me, that's a long time, even three weeks to keep breathing this for really long time. But the fact that I did these parts like really really /, safe and small - you that should allow me to keep the styling for a longer time, so what I have for you guys was a tutorial on how to do this. Yes, so if you want to see the tutorial on how to do, pixie braids keep on watching okay, so I'm gon na show you guys how to do pixie breeze. What you're going to do first is Parcher hair, and since this is my last bird, there's no need for me to part it, but I'm gon na take a little bit here. You can always take more hair, more weave in which it really is kind of like how I did look at this either it's morning, but it is, but you do is take one third of the week and put it on top of the other party. We have three stations make sure to invite two months. It is your the secular good part been to Italy on top of like so, and what you're gon na do is just braid all the way down like you would do a regular place and when you bring that the priests you're gon na do the type just That you have a good grip on it. Then you gon na keep going on I'll. Tell you what the fear is you go because it's to get really good tangled live influence. You come to the stop to the arrow here, will close to establish it right here. You'Re gon na wan na bring very close, just try to get those bigger areas not all over here into the free and then as they come to the stop. Where you think is long enough, you can burn me in, I think three pieces, so I'm gon na do this. Take my lighter and drop me where I stopped the brain and you go looks with it. Sometimes you don't always get it on the first try, but to be sure what you can always burn. So that's just a quick tutorial on how to do.

aallykkat09: I love this, it looks great and I would love to try this! The length and fullness is great. My only concern is the synthetic hair, in the past (especially in the summer), I'd notice the synthetic hair sort of melding to my own. When it would come time to take it out, it would be stuck to my hair! I also recently got a weave done with synthetic hair and had a pretty bad allergic reaction to it. I'd definitely try this, but with some expensive ass human hair that I can't afford lol.

All Things Beautea: Thanks! I never experienced synthetic hair being stuck to my hair, that sounds scary! Lol yeah, they make some affordable human hair, but alotta the time it's not worth me getting it because I take it down too soon. You can check out some online beauty supply stores like samsbeauty for some okay priced human hair, sometimes they have buy 1 get 1 free!

Linda Dulce: I love this style! Do you know how long it would take on average if someone else is doing my hair like this and can hot water be used as an alternative to burning?

Ebony Adkins: I have relaxed hair and it's always poking out of my twist. what can I use to lay it down so it can look neat once I'm done braiding... This will be my first time doing box braids

Blackbird : lovely style!  how many packs of hair did you use?

All Things Beautea: Thanks! It *might* take somewhere between 10-14hrs, I'm not really sure, it depends on the size and length. You can use hot water, but if you want the ends to look similar to the ones I did, def use a lighter.

All Things Beautea: Thanks, I'll check it out and I subbed to your channel
