How To Clip In Hair Extensions With A Pixie Cut Ft. Estelle'S Secret!

Hey guys, what about today's video is going to be a how to clip in hair extensions with the pixie cut video. I know this is going to be a really really great video for a lot of people, because a lot of people don't realize that when you do have a pixie cut, you can rock hair extensions. It'S definitely limited and it's definitely not easy. But this tutorial just basically shows you how I found a way to do it and I'm sure down the road, I'm going to find more ways to do it and I'm going to definitely share it with you guys, but for now this is how I like to Wear hair extensions with the pixie cut, the extensions I'm wearing are Estelle's secret and I got these sent to me from a stall seeker which is really awesome of them to send me these extensions to try out and do an awesome, positive review for you guys. I love these hair extensions. I'Ve purchased other hair extensions. I purchased hello gorgeous dolce vita Sally's Beauty, Supply, hair extensions. I'Ve had quite the variety head candy even like I said. I'Ve had quite the variety and these are by far my favorite hair extensions. I can't even tell you guys how amazing these are. I got these in Maryland blonde and then I colored them with joy, hose semi-permanent red color, and then I went over that with red hat and they held up so well. Look, they look amazing. They don't even look damaged in the slide. If I put heat to them, I curled them. They just are so full voluminous and amazing. That'S why I'm able to rock these with the pixie cut, so when they came in, they came with a really cute bag, which you guys will see in the video. I showed you guys before I clip them in and they also wrote me. What'S so special about the pieces, is that they're thick from top to ends and last longer than most clip in hair extensions on the market? So as far as been lasting, I've had them for about a week. So I mean I don't know if they're gon na last, you know a year. I mean they're, really good quality, though so, if I had to guess I would say yeah they're going to last for about a year. They are so thick they're not lying like these. Are by far these excess hair extensions I've ever had like they're so voluminous like I don't I just with a pixie cut like it's, it's not even obvious, and I have a pixie cut. It'S just amazing so make sure to take good care for them and they will love you back and last longer. Obviously, you don't want to use too high heat. You guys know the rules. Twenty inches long is how long they are hair quality. It says its finest 100 percent natural human remy hair superior seven eighth grade, and I'm going to mention that head Kandi's, hair extensions ones that I received were synthetic like. I have no doubts that they were a blend of human and synthetic hair. They were by far the most horrible hair extensions and I can tell because when I style them, they just get frizzy and they look horrible like natural hair will get frizzy, but these got like fake frizzy, like you know, it's like Barbie hair. So, with these putting heat to them, I was just like yeah: these are 100 % real human hair. There'S no doubt in my mind, so it's that as blending the ends are cut softly to blend perfectly with their own hair, which is another thing that I absolutely love about these extensions. They were cut and they were caught the right way. Some hair extensions. You get almost like straight. It'S almost like these were cut on an angle, so they just look so real. So if you had lengthy hair like if you had longer hair and not a pixie, cut you're fine, because it's going to blend with your hair, because it's not straight it's like angled and when they came in when they were blonde. I'M going to grab my extensions, which I keep in this really really cute bag - that a stall secret set me with my hair extensions. So I'm going to take them out. I like that they gave me a bag. It kind of just keeps them in really good condition, so I have bundle like this and I'm just going to go ahead and take the individual pieces and place them on my vanity. So I have one two, two two clips one, two, two three clips and then one two, three four one, two three four and then two four clips. So those are the pieces I have and one of the four four pieces is obviously longer than the other pieces. Would be the one that goes at the top so um? I already have my hair kind of styled. When I wear extensions, I find it super easy to just flick this back, almost like a side cut like a fake side cuts. Obviously my pixie is growing in and all my hair tends to go to this side. I could do something like this and split it directly down the middle, but it just doesn't look good and I don't like it. Um, I'm really new to wearing hair extensions with a pixie cut. I'Ve never had a pixie cut, so it's kind of be uh. It'S going to be trial and error and some things that I find that work I'll be sure to do hair tutorials for you guys and things like that. So this is just a way that I like to wear hair extensions with my pixie cut that works. For me right now, but it's always subject to change, I'm always going to learn new things and try out new things, so um yeah, my hair, tends to fall to the side, so I didn't want to leave it just like you know out. I just think it looks kind of weird so I like to just lick it down and then some of this hair will fall over it, and then I just use some Sebastian liquid steel, which is like someone. A jelly can use a gel and then I'll. Just take whatever hairspray, this is aussi awesome volume, and then I also have the one and only argan oil hairspray, so I'll just lick it down with that and then stick some bobby pins in it's good to go so yes, um, let's just start by putting them In so this is how I do it and everybody does it differently. So let's just begin, I'm going to start by taking my first two clip piece and I'm going to kind of try to not the kind of section it off, because if you don't section properly, what happens is some of the pieces get caught in like stick out And you don't really want that, so I just try to like stick my finger in and kind of just place it it's kind of hard to section it perfectly, because you know you're not going to be using clips to section, but you just don't want the hair Sticking straight out so my first two clip is in and it just sticks out a little bit like right here. I can kind of feel it as this lot a big deal, because hair is going to go over it but yeah. So I'm going to take my second two club and if I go ahead and pop it in so at this point I could see that this little short hair is sticking out. So I like to pop in a one little dude here and just pop it in like under the two clip, so I kind of see will cover up the little piece. That'S hanging out, so we're going to keep going. Everything was really really good. Um make sure these bobby pins don't get too stuck in there. So, okay, I might just take this bobby pin out for now. Alright. So now I'm going to place a three clip right here, so we're pretty high up. You know what I mean so now we can kind of just start to focus on building on this side now. So I'm going to take my next three clip and then I'm just going to go ahead and section and start popping it in right here. Okay, so now we're down to the four clips, so I'm going to take the next biggest one and I'm just going to pop it in again. But this time it's going to go a little bit wider. So we'll try to clip my hair up and out of the way, so I'm just going to pop it in right here being careful to move hair as I go, so it doesn't get that weird thing going on where it likes to stick straight up. Okay, take down c-section and see how it's coming out so now section again, you don't want to make their sections too wide when you're not working with a lot of hair, because you want to make sure you have enough hair to cover your clips. Obviously, you don't want your clip showing, even though it's a struggle regardless how low you place the extensions. It'S always going to be a struggle to not get them to show. So now, I'm just popping my last one in and circling all the way over here. So this is what it looks like right now: okay, and you can kind of still tell that it's like choppy, but it's not a horrible. You know thing, it doesn't look terrible, terrible um. I will not even lie to you guys. It'S a struggle to do this. It'S not easy, so what I'm left with now for hair extensions is these three single clips, so I just like to put them in at random, where I see that it's like choppy and possibly potentially sticking out a little too much. I will just like to go in and place them, so maybe one will go right here to kind of break it up. This can count as my bangs, so that's not like too too scary or something that I worry about, but just through the choppy areas. I like to just pop in clips, so it looks more realistic. I'M going to take this clip out. It'S kind of sticking up, weird, I'm just going to pop under here on this side. I think that will be a good spot for it. Okay, so all my extensions are in obviously I'm not going to show you guys how I style the extensions I'm going to do that off camera, just because it's a waste of time to add that into this video when it's already kind of a long video. So if you guys want to see the hairstyle, that could be a totally different tutorial, because this is thoroughly dedicated to how I clip in hair extensions for a pixie cut, not with the style. It would be a ridiculously long video. So if you guys, like the hairstyle, then requested for short, so at this point, what I'm going to do is show you guys how I hide the clips close up here, they're showing so I like to take whatever hair I do have, which is so short. I'M sure you guys can see that right. It'S like nothing, I have nothing and they just like to back home back home back home back home as much as I can for that little piece, and then this can kind of sprawl back, but I actually might end up just taking some gels looking that down This is going to get slicked down. I don't think I like how it's sticking up, so I just like to go around and just back home, because I feel like that kind of helps it to all blend and sometimes with my hair, won't die. A bobby pin like if I feel like a clip of hanging out I'll, take a bobby, pin and I'll clip it in and then all hairspray that and it kind of like, will train the hair to stay by the time. I'M done doing my makeup or styling. My actual hair I'll take the bobby, pin out brush it down spray it again and then there's no clip showing. So that is how I do this I'm going to go ahead right now and just take care of this, because I don't like it. Someone takes on my liquid steel and I'm going to go ahead and slick that right on down. I don't like how it's sticking out at all so now to see if my clips are showing. Since I can't see the back of my head, I like to take a mirror and look so I can kind of see at the top over here. Some are showing so I'm going to try to hide that. Sometimes you have to train the hair to stay in place, not easy at all um to hide these clips. So some of this hair needs to come back. This is gon na have to stay, or is this gon na have to get moved with it that way, and that makes a huge difference so right now, there's clips in my hair and I'm going to take them out most likely um at some point when it Dump my hair styling, or something I'm just going to take it out, but having the bobby pins in place, will help to train the hair to stay out of the way. It'S like a maze. I guess you just have to work at it. It'S definitely not easy, but uh when you have a mirror with you and you look into them here. It definitely helps so I'm going to go ahead and style my hair and then I will show you guys the finish. Okay guys. So I ended up styling. My hair, well laughs and there's a few bobby pins showing over here, which again is not a huge concern to me because bobby pins sticking out really doesn't you know our bodies and showing doesn't really irritate me.
