Ruben Martinez is here to teach you all of the Do's and Dont's of Fusion Hair Extensions! Watch this short 5:00 minute video to become a pro.

Hey everybody, how you doing I'm Ruben Martinez and I'm here with Donna Bella Milan and bringing you yet another edition of rude tube alive in this episode. What we're going to talk about today, it's going to be targeting the fusion and carotene method check this out. I want to show you the proper way to do this. There'S a couple do's and don'ts. Okay, first and foremost, if you do have your fusion or clear link kit already through Donna Bella, you recognize this bad boy. You see this right here. This is going to help save your life in this method. Okay, this is your protective strip. What you can do is you can use this as a whole, either around the entire back of the head and side of the head clip that on and you can use it as a third hand or what you can do is grab a pair of household shears And just cut a section of it off and voila there you go. You got a little handy, helper, okay, you, like that hand helper. How do you do okay? What we're going to do is we're going to grab a section of the hair now this goes for any section or any type of method. When it comes to doing extensions, you always want to grab a sufficient amount of hair from the clients head to make sure. There'S not going to be any damage whatsoever; okay, so what you're doing is you're going to grab your section of hair you're, going to grab your pre-cut protective disc, and what you're going to do is just put that on just like. So now. At this point, you're going to grab a yo yet or a clippie, whatever you want to use to just kind of fasten that in place, booyah perfect check that out now. This is important in this method right here and this procedure, and this I guess you can say step of the procedure. You want to make sure that, because it is visible that you don't see any elevation from that strand of hair, because once you fasten it there and you remove that strip, it can have a waterfall effect, and that is not cute. Whether you want volume or not. Stay away from that, okay, so you're going to grab your extension. Now, let me tell you some people, we all know our clients. In most cases, this one strand and this one tip right here. This pre bond is going to be too much keratin for one person on each individual strand, so you have some options, it's really cool. You can just cut it from the top of the section of the tip, and then you can just peel it apart. Let me show you remember: with the same household scissors, you're going to actually go ahead. Now, don't cut your fingers, I'm going to need those later you're going to cut a little section, an incision if you will, on top of the section of the extension okay. Now you didn't want to go all the way to the very end, because that way you can just kind of peel it apart and wallah. You don't lose any strands of that strand. I love it. I love it so now you actually just doubled your money. What you can do now, if you can charge by the strand, and now you just made voila a couple more extra bucks. So what you're going to do is you're going to grab your section of hair and you're going to grab your extension and lay it right up on top okay, now you're going to grab your hot iron and you're going to mount that all the way down through You just want to make sure it's going to mount all the way through because with that being said, if it's not mounted all the way through and you could have some shedding and that's what you don't want beautiful beautiful now at this point, you're going to put In a pressing motion rubbing it together, so that way your going to ensure that that keratin bond entwines in the hair and the extension itself becoming one they're joining forces people - I love it. I love it so once you take off that yo, yet you take off your protective disc Wow. Look at you! You guys have your first extension keratin bond on the head. Look, how amazing that looks simple its basic! I love it. You want to make sure it lays down natural at a zero degree angle. You want to put it too tight, where it's going to have a waterfall effect like that. Okay, you want to make sure you lay really natural and really really really subtle. I love that. I hope that helps you guys have a great one and we'll see you at our next episode.

Demaris Rodriguez: Hi, Ruben, love your bubbly spirit! I have a question-i have soft loose curly hair (boricua type, if that makes sense), and I like to know , to apply hot keratin fusion strands, should I press my natural hair first, or, will I be able to install the keratin fusion strands on my natural hair, using the same texture hair? And second, do I necessarily have to"space" my fusion strands, or can I just make them in rows? I'm trying to avoid as much tangles and matting at the roots as much as possible. Thank you and God bless.

Good thing I'm voluptuous or else I'd be mistaken for a boy! I had 2 cut it off b/c my HAIRDRESSER fried it & it felt like hay. I miss my hair! FML!
