Pixie Cut Wig With Shaved Sides.

So hello, beautiful people and welcome back to yet another video and in this video i'm going to show you how to like install this pixi with like somewhat an illusion of shaved sides. So yeah make sure you stick to the end so hi um. This was an attempt, um that i was doing. I'Ve always wanted to do this, since i saw it a while back, so i kind of did the wig in a hurry, but the point. The whole point of this type of um wig is the illusion of uh. Like sides that are shaved and as you'll see, i did do the dude cup as you can see, and that was the first mistake i made. You know how we normally put like an inch thick layer of glue when you're installing your wigs for this one. Please make sure you don't do that because remember on the shape size, there's literally no hair, so once you leave a whole inch of glue, can you see like the front of my nude cap, looks like stuck because that's why i put the glue and then the Back looks like a nude cup, with the right color, like with more of a nude tone, and the area with the glue looks a bit like weird. I hope you guys can see that so i did take a small piece of lace and what i'm doing here is i'm testing the the last tint i'm testing the lessons to see if it's a match: uh huh. I always like matching my last into my natural skin color without like makeup, because makeup does somewhat lighten your skin, so yeah, that's what i was doing. I always test a patch uh of my list before i go ahead and like tint the entire list. Now, this being a side part, that's shaven. I literally go with the lace tint. I am a medium brown by the way and then i just literally you apply on that whole area. Now it's funny because, like um, i made this entire install based on like that. Other side, i literally did nothing on this other part with hair because well, that was where my focus is the shape side. Yes, so once you apply the tint, you go in with your dryer and you know you've room from like room. You make sure you dry it until it's all the way dry and where did i go? Maybe i'm looking for something? Did i find it? Okay? What okay? Okay, so we uh here i am - and i guess this is after i entered the lace. Yes, because you can see that you can see that a part of the lace has changed color, while the front is still a bit like transparent but like yeah, and i still feel like. I did not like tint it evenly everywhere, but anyway make sure you do that when you're doing it also when you're um putting the nude cap on make sure you stick it even on the sides of the ears. Remember this type of style: there's no hair to save you like you know how you can cover mistakes with hair with normal installs. With this one, there's no hair to save you so number one make sure you put a very, very thin layer of glue and then number two make sure you, the nude tap, goes all the way, so that none of your hair is actually visible on the area. Where it's a shaped, but so i did use the eye pencil to put the marks. This is going to help me know where to cut on the lace and where to like, as you can see where to place my glue, here's another mistake, you see the amount of uh width of the glue layer. I i did this like how i do with my other wigs, which is wrong for this trust me. You want it to be, as if you can put it like a thinness like a thickness of a pencil like a pencil mark when it's drawing that's good enough, because remember, there's no hair to cover like this now, no one is coming to save. You is what i'm trying to say so, as the thinner, the better. I made it a bit thick because of old habits. I thought this was just like the same as all my normal insults, but like nah nah, but that's the thing about experiments. You'Re going to mess up the first time, and also for this one, you have to make sure that the side of your ear, where i'm doing right now, you also need glue over there. Because again, you do need that part of the the lace on the shape side to stick to that area. So yeah, i'm sorry. I was looking down on a mirror, or rather i was looking down in a mirror because you have to see what you're doing here. So that's why i go a bit missing once in a while. You can see my face and so yeah. I only worked with one layer because remember this was an experiment. I just wanted to see how it's going to come out. That'S why i didn't do much, but i did make it very wide, which was highly unnecessary, and i regret, but anyway, first time, it's okay, if you make mistakes and notice how i only literally put the glue on one side because uh, like i said i literally Just stuck, or rather yeah, i just glued the side where there's a shade flat, but where this hair, i didn't even bother. So that's. Why now, as i wait for the lace glue to clear, i am going with my zigzag scissors and i'm going to cut that lace, those pencil marks, the dots that i put are exactly what's going to guide me on exactly where to cut yes. So this is what it looks like once it's cut and it's on it. It'S on it's on it'll always use the dark clips to like keep the hair out of the way, because the thing about hair is, it doesn't know how to act. It doesn't know how to behave. It literally goes everywhere and anywhere. Yes, so mistakes i made so far: um thick glue, layer or other thick glue placement, no lack of even temptation on the lace and not covering the nude cap everywhere. So why did i? I think i sped this area up. Oh lord christ, i did it up the entire check for 10 million okay. Okay, so you see how the thickness of the layer glue the glue layer is apparent. Yeah, i should have known better, but anyway it was my first time, so maybe there was no way i would have known better and then i'm going to go in with a comb and then i'm just going to press that in and that's you see me going In with the makeup brush, that's an attempt to attain to the parts of the lace that i didn't when i was doing my list hinting so yeah. That'S what's happening right now, any parts that you miss remember you have to go in with some glue. Let it turn clear, and then you stick it on. Oh of course, the gold holder, the good, oh, the good old blow dryer is a must. You have to like press it down as you dry it so that it dries. The only thing that i didn't do for this install that i did differently is, i didn't go in with the hairspray melt to spray it on. I did not do that at all, because i feel like it will mess it up. Like i didn't see, the point like i just didn't see the point, so i was like there's a part of her that, like refused to let me prosper like that part that kept on standing. Yes, so you see me going in with a hair straightener to like attempt to like lay it down, and i should have flat ironed this unit flat, ironed it or rather styled it, so that it it does what it's supposed to do, but, like ah experiment, sometimes You you know, that's me dreaming, because there's some parts that are a bit long when you're trying out something you don't know how it's going to turn out, i'm glad at least i recorded it, even though i just like stuck like i just glued one side, i Mean it's the side that matters right. Where do you need to see the other side plus there's a lot of hair, covering this other side, so like nobody's gon na know, yeah see that hair that, once that hair that keeps on standing yeah that that's the one. So this is me going in with a straightener and like making it behave, always curl the end towards the inside. It'S a pixie like lord jesus. Why? Okay, let's try this again uh huh. Did it work this time? I hope so. I sure think i just took a pin like a bobby pin and just like pinned it down because, like i was not going to fight with hair, i didn't have that much time. I was also in a hurry. So this is me again straightener, but like it's always easier when you style hair, when it's off your head, uh, to avoid risk of burning yourself, always style your hair, when it's on a dummy, mannequin, so yeah, that's, always safer, and so this is, i think, i Think this is where i stopped right. Yeah and oh. This is oh yeah, of course, yeah. I'M just trying to show you like different um, what it looks like from different angles. Of course, you can always take the hair to cover more of your face or move it out of your way and pin it, but like this is just this is just a million dollars. This is this, is i mean, thank you guys for watching i'll, see i'll see you guys in the next video make sure to like comment, share and subscribe, and if you have any comments or questions just leave them in the comment section down below bye.
