So, hey guys welcome back to my channel. Finally, i can get started so grab your mousse and let's go hey guys, so i'm literally applying my mousse all around my hair, as you can see, i'm rubbing it in making sure it's nice and moussey, but um yeah. This is very important, don't be hesitant um in using enough mousse. You need to use as much as possible - obviously don't overdo it, but um. I like my hair to be quite foamy because i'm able to manipulate it better and the results are much better. So i'm currently using carry care, wrap, foam mousse. I either use care care or lotto body. I'Ve tried all mousses under the sun from nairobi, olive oil um, you name it. So these are the two mousses. I highly recommend right now before when i first started doing pixie cuts. It was definitely olive oil, but for some reason i feel like they've changed the ingredients somehow and it just doesn't work the same so guys um. I would always pick something that you would recommend that works for your hair type um, especially if your hair's quite thick, you would need um a lot of mousse. So what i'm doing right now, i am doing the finger wave on the outside. Well swirlies. I call them or waves on the outside around my scalp area um. This is really important for you to have those defined curls, so your curls are not really going to bang. If you don't have these swirly bits on the edges, and it's literally like a guideline of how you're going to curl your hair as well and what sort of direction it's going to go into. So i like to start off with a base and honestly guys there is no right or wrong way of doing it. Whatever works best, just go with the flow um. You know literally just go over the floor. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it has to look like a wave at least foreign. My do now my hair's all molded and i've used a wrap strip. Just making sure my ears are tucked in the trick to the wrap strip is not to wrap your hair too tight. Otherwise, your edges will start to move and when it's dry trust me, you do not want to have any type of manky edges. It'S happened to me a couple of times where you feel like you've molded it so perfectly and you've put the wrap strip on way too tight and it suddenly moves under the dryer and when it does dry, you're like what the hell. So i've learnt my lesson. I add a bit of holding spray like you've just seen, and then i wrap it with the wrap strip uh, but not too tight, um and yeah just sitting under the dryer now trying to position it perfectly um, because it's so important to get the heat in The right areas - sometimes it does dry more in the middle than the edges, so um yeah, if you don't, have a dry at home. I do highly recommend that you purchase a portable dryer from amazon. I think it's about just over 100 pounds, but it's so worth it, especially if you're gon na be having short hair for the longest time. Sorry, i don't know why i'm figuring this dryer yep there you go so sit back, relax and enjoy right. So i'm about to dry now - and i am styling my hair, so i am using our pencil straighteners uh 0.3 pixie pencil, straighteners fantastic! If you don't have a pencil straightener, you shouldn't be rocking a pixie, i'm joking! You need to purchase our straighteners fantastic, top-of-the-range quality heat is um, obviously adjusted to temperature and everything else. Um, and it's just perfect. I wouldn't have been able to achieve the waves that i have without a pencil straightener. So all the details of this will be in the description box below and yeah. You can purchase away so, as you can see, i've done about three or four curls already and i'm going by steps. So i'm, starting from the middle of my hair, working my way down to the side so start from the crown down to the sides, all the way round. Don'T worry! If the curls are not completely perfect, you can always go over them. Um, especially if you you need to have heat protector spray or this or the actual serum, so i've used serum for the base and um i've gone over it with the spray. The spray is a little bit more lighter the serum is a bit more. It'S quite thick, so you only need a drop of the serum and a couple of sprays of um the heat protector, it's the same brand, but one is just lighter than the other, so um yeah. I am using the pencil straighteners from the crown and i am holding on to that curl. Then i slightly let go you need to make sure the heat has penetrated into your hair, especially if your hair's thick it has to penetrate very, very well. So so you so so guys, i'm almost done and i'm so loving the fullness of the curls like it just makes sense. I just love it when a pixie makes sense, so i'm grabbing the back, and this is how i tongue the back of my hair. I'Ve. Never used the mirror to turn the back of my hair. I just grab it with my fingertips and i curl what i can pick honestly and then i just sort of flatten it eventually with my hands or a comb, so i've just sprayed um the spray version of the oil, the heat oil serum uh. Just to give it that shine give it that smooth, look and yeah, i'm loving it my hair's quite thick, so it does need a little bit more serum um, just to make sure it stays slick and shiny. So guys after i've put the serum on my hair. I'M literally just combing my hair with my fingers. I am just trying to fluff out the curls just to make it look more natural and less bumpy um. You can get a big comb if you want to, but sometimes it's better to literally use your your nails. Um or your fingers, it just gives it more of a natural vibe. If you get what i mean you
