For the last couple of weeks, i've been pretty much rocking this slick back, look, it is super simple and it's my go-to nowadays to be honest, because it is super easy to do, and it's very easy to maintain. So today i'm going to slow down and show you guys how i do every single thing. I hope you guys enjoy this video. If you are new to this channel, consider subscribing after watching this video. It would be so appreciated. Okay guys so, let's jump right into this video okay. So let's get started with this hair now for those of you guys, who may be a little bit curious? Yes, i do have a relaxer on my hair, so no, this is not my natural texture. I did wash and condition my hair before starting this video, so it's very clean and it's also a bit damp. I'M gon na share with you guys the products that you are gon na need in order to achieve this very classy sleek slip back. Look you're gon na need a spray bottle filled with water you're, also going to need a leave-in conditioner, because you need your hair to be soft, manageable and detangled you're also going to need a foaming lotion here, i'm going to go in with my nairobi foaming lotion. My absolute favorite you're gon na need a rat tail comb you're also gon na need a soft bristle brush and you're gon na need a hard bristle brush uh we're gon na talk about why you need the two different textures later on in this video. So i'm gon na start out by completely saturating my hair. When i'm doing this hairstyle, i like my hair to be completely wet to the point of dripping. Next, i'm gon na go in with my leave-in conditioner. Now i like to use a little bit of leave-in conditioner, because i noticed that when i go in with too much it does cause a little bit of flaking, and i don't want that now. I would say that this is probably one of the most important parts of this hairdo. You have to ensure that your hair is completely completely detangled, no lumps no humps, no bumps okay, so you just see me here ensuring that everything is smooth. If you want a smooth sleek, look, you have to ensure that the hair is completely detangled. Next, i'm gon na go in with my foaming lotion here. I'M using my nairobi foaming lotion, which is my absolute favorite of foam lotion before finding nairobi. I used to use the olive oil brand, and this is another brand that i used to use, but i must say that the nairobi is my absolute favorite. It does a formula. It has like a very thick rich uh consistency and that's exactly what you want in a foamy lotion. You don't want anything runny, you don't want anything watery. You want something. That'S really gon na adhere to your hair and just give you a nice soft hold. I like the fact that it doesn't leave my hair, hard and crispy. It leaves it very soft and shiny and feeling very conditioned so yeah. I highly recommend it now you're gon na notice that i'm using a technique that i like to call the comb in smooth technique. So every time i pass the comb throughout my hair, i do use my hand to smooth it out. That'S to ensure that the teeth marks of the comb aren't showing uh now throughout this whole process, you're gon na see me go in time and time again and try to um use the foam to smoothen out the hair. This is very important here, i'm going in with my hard bristle brush, and this is just me going in and further detangling the hair to ensure that the hair is completely smooth. Next, i'm gon na go in with a soft bristle brush. This brush is very soft and i mainly use this brush to smoothen my hair. So even though the hard bristle brush does a very good job at detangling, the hair, it doesn't do a very good job at smoothing in the hair. So this is where the soft bristle brush comes in now. Once again, you see me going in with more foaming lotion. I do use a lot of lotion only because this is what is required for me to achieve that very smooth flat. Look. I have very thick hair, so it does take me um a lot more time and work to get my hair to be smooth. You may have a different texture hair, so you may not need as much product, and it may not be this hard to get your hair smooth. Okay, so just do what works for you, okay, so this is where the fun begins. I'M gon na show you guys how i do my baby hairs. Now. This part is completely optional. You do not have to go in and get no baby hairs, or nothing like that. You are free to just leave that part out and just go with that very clean sleek. Look for me. I like to give myself a little bit of baby hair because um, i think it looks cute. I think it adds a little sass to the look and it does frame my face. I have like a big forehead and yeah. I just like the way it looks now. I try not to obsess over baby hairs too much. Okay, i'm still trying to master that whole look, but i try not to get too caught up in how it looks now, i'm a little bit weaker on my left side, so you're gon na see that my right side is gon na look a little bit better. It'S gon na look a little bit more detailed, but let me let you guys just watch what i'm doing here so here, i'm just gon na give you guys a view of what the back looks like nothing special going on back here, i'm just ensuring that everything Is flat and smooth and laid down so nothing special going on back here, but i just still want to have you guys take a look at what the back looks like okay, so we are almost at the end of this process here. I'M just gon na go ahead and cover up the hair with my drag now, if you have a silk scarf or a satin scarf, you could absolutely use that. For me, i like to use a drag. I don't know i feel as though it gets really flat and it doesn't give my hair any space to unravel. Now, i'm gon na get started with the drying process, which is super simple. I'Ve shown you guys this product um before my channel. It'S like a bonnet dryer. I love this product, so much so simple, so easy to use can't live without it. All i have to do is insert my hand dryer inside of it and put the hood over my head, adjust it so that it's tight, because this thing is about to inflate. So i like to make sure that it's secure on my head, then adjust my hand blow dryer setting to low heat and in 20 minutes, i'm pretty much done, okay, guys! So here's the finished look! Okay! So here i'm gon na go in with my multi-use oil. It does have grapefruit red, currant and jasmine in it. It is just so nice, so i use it on my hair. I use it on my body. I use it on my nail cuticles like i said it is a multi-use oil. I really like this oil. I did find it in, i believe uh tj maxx. It was for like 3.99 or something like that, but if i could find it guys i'll definitely link it below in my description box. Okay, last but not least, i'm gon na go in with a holding spray spray. It in the palm of my hand, rub it over my hair just to keep everything nice and neat if you're still here, don't forget to like comment and subscribe. I love you guys very much i'll see y'all in the next upload. You
