Hey y'all: what's up it's Helen, welcome back to the channel and today we're going to get into this sleigh easy, quick, simple sleigh! This is a 5x5 lace Bob unit. It is a 10 inch unit from wide wigs. So a lot of you have asked me to show a few short hair, wigs that you want some uh. I guess versatility when it comes to units not me just showing you the long hair units. So I thought you know what let me go ahead and work again with white Wiz, because they always come with a really nice beautiful, very Luscious, Hair honey when it comes to short hair units. So I did get this one straight out. The pack I went ahead and shook it out and I trimmed the lace once I trimmed the lace on the unit. It'S just a straight cut across. I went ahead and just put the unit on. I wanted to see what it looks like which side did. I want my part on and just how much parting space I have to work with, so I decided to part it on the left side. First, I wanted to see, because I'm normally the type of person like to wear my hair on the right and my part on the left and um. So what you do is when you get these type of units you play with The Parting space, see what looks best on you. What do you like, because everyone likes a certain side of their face, or maybe their part on one side than others right? So you play with it a little bit put it on and then that's when you mold your hair down. So at this point right here, I'm just trying to figure it out. I'M like this is cute. I figured that the unit is actually longer on one side than the other, so while I was playing with it, I just put a little bit of spray to tack it down. This is definitely one of those units that you do not have to glue down or lay down. So I do like the fact that this is one of those units, because it's a bob, it kind of comes over the lace. It'S not making any sense like in the front. You can actually uh mold it back, which you'll see later that I do, but it comes towards the front. So if you just want to throw this on the go - and you don't want to Fiddle Faddle with like the glues, the gels, the sprays to lay it down, you can definitely do so, but this is pretty much without me doing anything to it. This is me just taking a hot comb and just kind of combing through it not really styling or anything like that. I just wanted to see which side the hair would actually work best on, and I just kind of use the hot comb a little bit. So I can see which side was the longer side. That'S pretty much why I used it. So I do like the hair. If it's bone straight, I didn't try to get it bone straight because I knew I would curl it in the end, and this is where you can see that I've tried the middle part. Yes ma'am. So this hair right here, even though I say it's longer on one side, you can barely tell with this middle part. It'S like maybe an inch longer, but it still looks good and if you have a stylist that you can trust that you like to style your units, you can definitely have them cut the unit to the same length on both sides once they fit the unit to Your head and this unit does fit pretty well, it does have the elastic. It has the two Combs on the side and it has the adjustable bands so yeah this one fit really good on me. It didn't feel like super tight or snug or anything, but it fit really good foreign. I didn't do anything fancy to this unit. It took me a minute to figure out which side I wanted this little swoop to do thing on, but um I end up putting it on this side, and I believe this is my left, but this is the side I believe it originally was styled on yeah, Because it had like this on it, so what I decided to do was take the curling iron and just do like three Spa curls. That'S all I did so that it was swoop like this, like I can literally uh swoop it like this and it'll. Give this a little more um style instead of it just being the straight, even though I think it originally. I want it to be straight because I wanted like this cute straight, like Bob um, but I think it looks good like this. I think it looks good fresh. You look good with short hair come on and uh the lace looks amazing. I have no complaints on that. I went ahead and um used the mousse to lay it down so that it would have like this standing. You know Standing Ovation, so I wouldn't have to worry about it just sitting in my eye the whole time. So let me know your thoughts. What do you think? What do you think? All I had to do was cut that little piece of lace. What did I say, 5x5 and then um tennis Bob with a little you know, and then, if you decide you, your part is on the other side. You can always put this on the other side. I think for me on the other side um. What was it? I don't know I just feel I've always had Parts where the hair is Flowing to this side. I just wanted to try this out. I thought this was cute. I don't know it's really like I don't know I like it. I love it. What do you think? Again, it's been a minute since I worked with them. I have another unit, I'm going to try soon too and it's a short pixie cut friend, I'm thinking about doing some uh razor layers to them we'll see. So this is what I want to say about these units when you get these short units, be careful when you get these short units. Sometimes the outer box might look a little um off-putting, but once you put it on put your mousse layer down Flat, add your little curls or whatever style is the way you want to style it um. They usually work out just fine when it comes to the pixie cuts. I always have a stylist like cut the hair um in the past, when I would wear those units that way it was already ready to go girls just take it all slide it out. Take it off solid. These are one of the units that you don't even have to glue down, like I literally just put like what just a little bit on the around the edge line and I'm good. But this is when those like put on and go units for sure, so you'll see this unit in some upcoming videos, I'm sure, because girl this is that heat appropriate hair. This is when you want to wear a unit, but you don't want to be hot yeah. This is cute, I'm liking it. It'S been so long since I've see. This is why I know it's gon na be doing. Let me stop. Let me leave it alone. It'S been so long since I've worn a short unit and I'm liking them so um. So hopefully they will send me some more out to play with.
