Short Pixie Tutorial | Pixie Haircut For Over 60

I heard on for boys and girls hairstyles good to see you guys today glad you jumped on today. I am Judy with me. I am really really excited. She come from California and anyway, she's a sweetheart super fun and we are going to do a cube American on her. So I wanted to show you guys, and anyway we are going to get rid of all this by her ears, we're going to cut out her ears and bring this down. That'S really going to show off around here now she has a little bit of curl. Obviously, it's not kinky girl, but she has a lot of body in her hair. So I want to tell you guys: I'm going to cut it, but when you do that, you guys need to know that it obviously is going to shrink, and so you don't want to take. You know a ton off of somebody's hair that has a lot of fun. So what we're going to do? Is we start here in the back and you guys can see how up feeding comes down here and we're gon na bring it up a little bit. So it's not like down her neck as much so I'm just gon na come into this just point cutting into that okay and then I'm going to just use my little trimmers and just kind of clean this up. Okay, now I'm going to do I always like to start on the top, so I can see you know the length and where we're going to use that hasn't been kind point now she likes to use the flyer. You know in Flatiron up up, but sometimes she'll just dry it and let it go cuz. She has so much buddy. So again, I'm not going to go to too short on the top. That'S short enough that it's going to be. You know easier for her. What'S that about right? Yes, easy! You good! For short! Now the back, I'm not going to be shy about! I'M definitely going to bring that in tell the why hair through this area, so we are going to tighten that up towards. You know this middle area down towards your mate and get that tight and again, especially with any curl. It'S nice down on this tight down here. So when it starts to grow out, we don't have little wings, the curls on my shoulders. Okay, so again in this middle area, I'm cutting up a lot more time than the top. Just because I have this tighter okay, then I'm just going to come to the site. I just follow that guide point. You know that one that we did right there on top and that's where you can and if you feel like you need to section off, then that is great. You can definitely take sections. You don't clip them away. If you feel more comfortable that way. Okay, then, the slides here, I'm just gon na hold this out, so I could not even greet until about here and then definitely start angling. Okay. No! I quit cutting into this go back through and we're gon na texture and all that good stuff. But I'm just doing cutting into it. Okay, now by her ear, you know see all that from this that I've cut, we are going to take that corner off and she's going to be healthy, because that will even bug her. It'S gon na be short of her way, and this is especially where I'm talking is they. You know the corners like right through here with the curl on this side: hey you're, gon na put that ear down, nope you're good. Thank You Darren appreciate us. So much sorry, I guess you should have said that hose it down with your comb. That'S how I found it. It'S really easy that way. Okay! Now, okay, just wait are your videos or I'm yeah, yet just for anyone, I've had lots of different people watch. You know so it's been really fun. I actually went up to Cosmo Prof to get some color and I was checking out in this room was next to check out and she's like here. Could you do some fun she's like yeah? I want you. She was from Spanish Wars, I'm like! Oh, my gosh. You really should you really shouldn't yeah go for it, I'm dead, serious, it's so fun. I'Ve met a ton of different people, very supportive and she's in real estate. So I do some things about staging your best fight right for real that it's seriously great great idea. Okay, so you guys can see that how that's gon na fall, see that and then comes tight through that area. Okay, now up here we're going to point cut into this now. Remember I mean I'm going shorter, but not so so short they have straighter hair. You can even go a little bit shorter. I just don't want it to go up on r2 too much. Okay. Now this this part is the fun part because we're cutting out the year. So you take, you can see where that guide point is see from underneath you're just going to take that and cut that up and then you're doing kind of come like this and around to the top. Do you see that here goes around all right? Okay, we're gon na hold this out. It'S just such tiny little hairs that come up because they don't take much out of it at all, yeah right, yeah! It'S that thing is amazing what you can do with even trimming which we're changing. You know your style. Actually, a little bit here and here, but even just trimming, you guys there's a lot of people that will come in and say: oh my gosh. She was sick of my hair, just cut it and I'm like okay! Well, how long have you been thinking about it? You know, because what happens is a lot of times. A lot of people will not go return to get their hair cut, so it doesn't stain the style. So it's growing out of the style and that's why they're not loving it, and so you know if they haven't, got a cut for a while. That'S probably the deal they're just needing a good trim. You know texture things like that. So I mean if they thought about it, a while, then that's great, then you can cut up. It is not men, you want to make sure they're they're ready, but it is important to keep on short haircuts because first off it's easy. You know easy to do, but to keep that look you definitely want to keep up on the cut yeah. I was so excited when Judy and message means that she was coming. If we can make an appointment, then I know my dear is so exciting. Okay, so you can see I just angle this down and then I love to come in and just be a piece that out you can see that a little bit of a corner. Can you see that see? That'S where it's cut! I could tell that was a little bit thicker longer right there, so I come back and there's a little bit of a corner. So just kind of make sure you know you you don't check spots and then, of course you can come in hold it out. Oh okay, now her bangs are gon na shrink, so I'm just I do want to come in and point cut. But again I don't want to take the time off now. What I can do and what I'm going to do is come in. So most of that you know, will dry it out there, but I am going to come in and cut down through this. So when we go to piece it out when we style it that there will be those pieces. So it's not just, even though I cut into the vein you want, because she has, I guess, more fine hair, but she has a lot of it, so you don't want like full right there. Hopefully, that makes sense. I'M just trying to texturize this without teeth and link. So it's not really full full of intervene down towards here now that you do is text right up through here now. What that's gon na do is help that add volume. So if any of you want volume, definitely texturized if you could said this, would one of my videos, I'm not sure, but when I I used to do my mom's, my first started texturizing her hair. She was flipping out because she has 20 big hair and she she did not like it. She thought that if I did that showing tiny hair left, but so if you have to think of hair and you're thinking, oh, I can't do that. They don't want of hair, you really do. It will actually help us end up more so and it's okay. You be scared. If I understand but it'll help you. I promise now I'm going to do a root lifter up from here, because she likes some nasty volume. Then you just gon na rub it into the root area: animals curly hairs, guys when you cut it style it and then, if they want more, then you can take more. You just need to see where it's gon na dry, so yeah definitely style first and then, if you need to take more length, okay, okay, so now we can take the flower only when we can't see. I know that's why I'm keeping you this way. Good thing! This Sun heats up really fast, then I'm just gon na come through here. What was nice too is. We did a mask on her. We lightened her hair and so when you whiten you, you take the protein out of your hair, and so we put protein back into her hair. So it makes it really nice and soft. It comes really good, yeah a few times. Okay, so I'm just pulling this straight out from the head and then, like I said after we go to style, we want to take some lengths somewhere. Then we can poor duties and driving and driving and driving she she's gon na. Be tired. Aren'T you I'm sort of spinning right in it? Okay, I'm just going to take two drops of oil, rub it in my hands and this obviously adds a lot of shine and I smooth it down and just see in here. If I want to take some more, we do learn about great little bit through here. We'Re a little bit fit. You guys can see, looks a little thick through here, I'm just going to take a little bit. Okay, I'm gon na take my clay, and this is the fun part, because you get to see it on PC and she doesn't want it all around it. She just wants it fun, it's her personality and then just grab at the back just gon na ping. The crown and then when I turn you around before I like spray it or anything we will see if you want that front: shorter, okay, this area, okay, we're going to turn it around before we kind of finish. Think about this. I think I'll just defer to you: okay, I'm just gon na it's true when you do style, get out there. Well, I'm fighting it too, so cute!
