New Sensationnel Distressed Locs 40' Wig Review | Ft Divatress | Tan Dotson

Hi guys welcome to my channel. My name is tan. If you're new in today's video, we have a unit that was sent over from divatress.com. Today'S unit is from the brand sensational and it's from their cloud nine collection. I got her in the style. Distressed blocks 40 inch and i got it in the color 1b. Let'S get into this install! Oh yes, oh see me, you love me how you love me. We should be closer, so let's go ahead and talk about this unit from sensational again, this is their distressed, lock, 40 inches and i got it in the color number 1b. The cap construction - pretty much is your standard cap construction. It has three combs in total one in the back, the other two in the very front, it also has the adjustable straps, so you can loosen them or tighten them. However, you choose to do so, and it also comes with a security band in it now. The special thing about the security band is that you can also adjust it to your liking. The claims, according to the stock card, says that it has a 4x4 hand tied parting with individually braided strands. True, virtually undetectable age delays true, and we're going to talk about that lace in just a second. It has natural edges with baby hair, high quality fiber a lightweight braiding hair, and it says that it is also hot water set possible now, with the 4x4 individually braided strands portion. That'S all you get no mo. Nonetheless, that's it! That'S all, and at first i was like this is not going to be enough, or this is going to make the unit look kind of ugly, but it actually worked out and loki, i'm surprised initially. I thought it would make it really hard to style the unit because of the small parting space area, and i was thinking about even twisting the units, maybe the left or the right just so. The part didn't sit directly into the middle. If you're new to this channel, i am not the biggest fan of middle parts. So therefore, if i can shift a unit or if i can move some hair over, then i'm probably always going to do so, but luckily i was able to pull a few of the locks to the side and yeah. I, like it like these much better thing, is that the middle part kind of gave off a very bulky look to the unit in my personal opinion, but i kind of got another reason, or i have a theory of why. I also feel like the unit was looking pretty bulky, but i'll talk about that a little bit later, as well. Now, with the virtually undetectable hd lace, hey, i got ta give it up the sensational. Their lace is bomb. This is a newer unit, but i want to say amina is a very older unit and the lace on that unit as well was very nice. Both units have been able to blend in with my skin tone very nice, i mean, of course i did go in with some foundation, and i added that to the inside of the lace, but the fact that this unit isn't glued down, sprayed down or anything, and It'S melting, this well says a lot of course. If you were right up on me, you would be able to see grid lines and things like that, because, let's be real laces lace and it's always going to show no matter what, but again for a synthetic unit. Like come on now, this is a bomb bomb lace. Next, with the natural edges with baby hairs, if you're not new to this channel, then you already know i'm not the biggest fan of baby hairs, but i did go ahead and keep them on and i give them on for two reasons: number one i can't lie: I'M low-key feeling them on this unit. I don't know what it is about them. It'S probably the frizziness of them because i have said before, if i am going to wear baby hairs, they're probably going to be that frizzy messy kind of look, and this is exactly what these are giving me. I also like that. I took my finger and i just kind of curled this one a little bit, and so that's why i got like a little curly cue sitting in the front, but i don't know like for this style of unit. I feel like it fits. The second reason is just in case: i do decide to sell this unit. I want someone to be able to customize it the way they want to customize it. So, therefore, if i do sell it and the person who chooses to buy it likes those thick baby hairs that you can slap down onto your forehead, then hey you have the options to do that. I didn't want to cut them off and then do not have that option now when it says high quality, fiber and lightweight braiding hair. I agree a thousand percent again with the stock card. When i first seen the unit in the package, i was just like. Oh, my gosh she's going to be super thick super heavy, but then i pulled her out and i was like this is really lightweight even on my head. She still feels very lightweight, but also gives a very thick and full look earlier. I talked about how i thought the unit was pretty thick and bulky, and my theory behind that is because sensational took the 4x4 apart or pieces from the 4x4 part and actually sewed it down to the unit. And to me i don't know, i wasn't liking that i wasn't feeling that so i took it upon myself and i cut those all free with me. Cutting those pieces free, i feel like it, gave the unit more movement if you will - and it also allowed me to be able to style it this way to where it doesn't give off that bulky. Look now, as far as the length goes for this unit again, this is a 40 inch long unit. So just for reference, i am 5'7. So, with the unit completely pushed to the front, it's hitting me about mid thigh when the unit is all the way pushed towards the back. It goes below my bottom. If this unit is a little bit too long for you sensational does offer a 28 inch unit, which you can also pick up from divatress. This unit does come in seven different, colors and i'll make sure to pop it up across the screen. Somewhere, i decided to go with the 1b, because i mean it's the most natural it's the closest to my original hair color, but also because i've always wanted to try locks. But i've been afraid to try logs and i didn't want to get anything that was too too crazy. Lastly, let's go ahead and talk about the price of this unit on divatress.com she does retail for 109.99 110. Basically, and before you clutch your pearls or anything like that, in my personal opinion, i do think that she's worth it. I say that because think about the amount that stylists are charging to do your hair nowadays you're, basically getting kind of sort of the same thing. It'S not completely individuals, but i mean you can make it work if you do a little tweaking here and there also with the proper care you'll have this unit for months versus. If you went to a stylist to get it done, it would last what maybe a month, maybe two months, if you're really pushing it but again with proper care. You can have this unit for months, so i don't know i'm just saying again. That'S just my personal opinion. I do think that she's worth it again as someone who's always wanted to try locs, but i've been afraid to try them, but also i never wanted to really pay the money to get them done and i did a horrible job. The one time i tried to install some myself, i am very pleased with this unit. Like sensational, i can't lie.
