The Difference Between Classic, Seamless, & Ponytail Clip In Hair Extensions! Adara Unboxed

Welcome back to Adara Unboxed or welcome if it's your first time, here., I'm Adara., I unbox and review things.. Today'S video is going to be super fun for any of you who wish you had more hair. Me., That's me.. Anyone else I for one, have very thin. Fine hair., I love the hair that I have., I'm very appreciative of it, but at times I don't mind having a little bit more volume. Now I just want to say you are beautiful. Just the way you are., Okay, You don't need to add more hair to that beautiful head of yours., But sometimes it's fun., Isn't it Sometimes it's fun to add a little bit of extra hair and look a little bit different.. It'S like Halloween every day.. Now a question that I've had for quite a while is what is the difference between classic clip-in extensions and seamless, clip-in extensions, and what are those ponytail extensions? Well, I'm in luck, because today my questions will be answered.. The company Goo Goo Hair Extensions, has very generously sent me three sets of extensions. A classic set., A seamless, set. And a ponytail extension.. So in this episode of Adara Unboxed, I'm going to go ahead and show you the difference between these types of extensions, and I will put them in my hair so that we can see what the difference looks like on an actual head. I am very excited about today's video., Mostly because I've really been wondering what seamless, hair extensions are like., I own classic hair extensions, and I will show you what those look like once. I open up my cutie little hair kit here, but I've always been curious because I've heard seamless extensions are better for fine thin hair like I have. And I have always wanted a ponytail extension because I have such fine thin hair. When I put my hair into a ponytail, it's just like this., A little teeny, tiny bloop of hair., So I don't ever put my hair in a ponytail, because I don't like the way it looks. For those that are curious. This is 100 % human hair.. That is the only kind of extension that I want, because it means you can use heat tools on them.. You can straighten them., You can curl them., You can cut and dye them.. Just like you would your actual hair. Alright., This is my ponytail.. These are my seamless.. These are my classic. They've sent me some false lashes as well Hello. This is a scrunchie., I think, a very fancy scrunchie.. It has a little fuzzy cuteness on it., Hey And there is a clippy in here which is awesome for clipping your hair up. So you can get your extensions in underneath. Super handy So to get started. Let me show you what some classic clip in extensions look like.. This is what they look like right out of the bag.. They have a little net on them to keep them tame and they come with some extra clips.. I think that you can sew these right in here if you ever needed to., That is beautiful, hair., Oh, It's so nice! So what I really like about this is: it feels like what my hair would be if my hair were like really healthy and a little bit thicker., Just a tiny bit thicker., Because it definitely does blend right in with my hair type.. So these are the Goo Goo Classic clip in hair extensions.. These are 120 grams.. I ordered the 14 inch extensions which are the shortest extensions that they offer. On their website. They go up to 24 inches for this style., And this color is the dark brown balayage.. Looking at it, it might be a little bit dark for my hair, but the great thing about Remy human hair extensions is that you can dye them either yourself or you can take them into a salon and have your stylist dye them for you to match your Hair color., This hair is so nice.. I love just playing with it., So this is the four clip eight inch extension.. As you can see, there are four clips going along this.. This is what a classic hair extension is.. It is sewn here.. So there is thread and it's a little bit thicker. And I have heard that this kind of extension is good for people who want a little bit of extra volume, because it's going to stand out a little bit from your scalp.. Let'S go ahead and put these into my hair., Just a disclaimer, I'm just gon na show you what I would do for my hair type and my head size, but just know like you, don't have to put like your one here.. You can put it wherever you want, it., Okay, It's your extensions.! It'S your hair.! You do you.! So I'm gon na start at the base of my neck.. I'M gon na use this nifty little clippy that they've sent me., And I have one of these kind of combs. This I just got from Sally's. It's very inexpensive and I like using these because you can use this tail part to part your hair, where you want It and then you can use the actual comb to tease your hair right in the spot, where you're going to clip it in. And that helps give it a really secure bond.. So far so good. I'm gon na turn around and continue this way so that I can see what I'm actually doing. Voila. Let me brush this out. There we have it. This is all of the extensions in and it's definitely longer than my hair.. So what I will end up doing later on is giving them a little trim which will not be difficult.. I really only need to trim a bit. Once it's in it blends. The colors blend really nicely with my actual hair color.. So, even though it looked really dark, in contrast, it's not that different. Once everything is like in and in place.. I think it's amazing that these look the way they do straight out of the box, because I haven't done anything. Like I'm, probably gon na wash them and dry them and I'm gon na straighten them. And then, when I put them in and actually use them. I will be curling them. And that just adds so much to making them look like your real hair. Once you've styled them in with your hair. They just look super um, great and natural., So here's kind of what the classic clip-ins look like., The kind where the clips are sewn onto the top and the top is a bit thicker.. As you can see, it is a little lumpy in the back. Generally. For my hair type, I don't put extensions really high towards the crown of my head, because I think that they're more likely to show. So the highest I generally go with. My extensions is just to the tops of my ears and around.. Now I'm very excited because I already own classic clip-ins., I do not own seamless clip-ins.. I want to see what these look like.. I want to see, if they're better for my hair., So let's go ahead and do a little switcheroo. Alright. Here are our seamless clip in hair extensions Again comes with some extra clippies just in case you need to sew them in later.. The color on these is the dark brown balayage.. The hair feels exactly the same. 100 % Remy human hair. Feels very soft and silky.. I also got these in the 14 inch, but in the seamless this company goes up to a 22 inch. And these are 130 grams.. It looks like instead of being sewn at the top, it's almost like glued., Or it's between this very thin bit of plastic.. Can you see, Let me show you the the classic, so we can see the difference. So seamless over here. Classic over here., You can see, the classic side is sewn and the seamless side is seamless.. I don't really know what that material is that is holding all the hair in, but yeah. It definitely is thinner than the classic side.. I think it's going to be much better for my hair type.. It'S really not that bulky when it comes to the actual clips.. It'S still pretty thin right there. And I have a feeling this is going to sit a lot closer to my scalp than the other ones. Do., I'm probably going to dye these a little bit. And honestly these are a little bit brassy. So I might do a purple shampoo., Like the kind of shampoo, that's meant for blonde hair to kind of decrease the brassiness.. I might do one of those in here, because I think that that would help lighten it up a little bit.. Let me go ahead and put these in and let's see if we can tell any amount of difference. - And here are the seamless I got ta tell ya. I'm getting used to the look of my hair being long and luscious.. I do think that these are better for my hair type.. They sit really close to the scalp. And I'm not concerned about having volume up on the top of my head., I'm concerned about having volume down towards the bottom, where this area can get kind of piecey.. I, like filling it out with hair.. I did put them um pretty high up.. I just wanted to do exactly what I did with the classic ones, so we could see a real difference, but again I would not put them up this high on my hair type.. I don't need the extensions up this high., I can have them start lower and then I think they won't show as much in the back. Here's what the seamless look like., Here's what it looks like if I pull the hair down.. I don't think it's as bumpy as the classic ones were, but you tell me, since I can't see. It feels to me, like they lay a lot flatter on my head.. I really like these., I'm so happy. I got a chance to try them thanks to Goo. Goo, Hair Extensions., Alright folks, let's have some fun. Let'S try out this cool ponytail extension.. I have never used a ponytail extension. Although there have been many times where I wished, I had one. Okay.. So this is what it looks. Like. Again, this is the dark brown balayage color.. I got the 14 inch, which is the shortest one., But this goes up to a 22 inch on the Goo Goo website., And this is 75 grams.. This is much thicker if you compare it to the other ones., For example. Here is just a single extension of the classic sewn in clips compared to the ponytail.. Ponytail is much thicker, but there's a lot of hair sewn onto one piece here, as opposed to less hair sewn onto multiple pieces in a classic set.. So I see one big clip right here. And it's not the kind of clip that you snap. It just is the kind that goes right into your hair., And then I think what this is. This little piece that comes off to the side is to wrap around once you put your hair on, so that it's a ponytail with a little hair wrap around., Which is awesome to help hide I'm assuming this seam.. I have gone ahead and put my hair. My real hair up into a ponytail.. This is why I don't typically wear ponytails.. This just does not look um the best on me.. I don't think this is velcro., So one side is the soft side. The other side is the grippy side. And I think I'm just gon na put this around my ponytail.. I'M gon na clip this part into the top going down underneath my little ponytail, holder, here. And then from there. I will just wrap it around and velcro this side onto here. And then wrap the hair around and then maybe you have to bobby, pin it Let's see., Let's see what happens here.. I think I need to get a bobby pin to pin this in. So let me do that really: quick. Hello, Ariana Grande. This is a freaking ponytail people Look at that.. I definitely need to like straighten this. And maybe curl it a little bit.. This is just straight out of the box, so it's a little bit um crinkled., But it's gon na look so much better and profesh. When I actually like straighten it and maybe give it a little curl., I don't know.. This is beautiful. The top just kind of wraps around. And the whole thing encircles your own hair.. So my hair is in there like in the middle., And this just provides so much volume and length too., I'm probably going to trim this because it is again really long..
