Is what's up beautiful people and welcome back to another video as y'all can see by the thumbnail and by the title, i'm going to be showing you guys how to do this cute little ponytail and side, bang, hairstyle, and so this right now is just all of The products you guys will need, even though i did not use the little olive oil that i showed you guys at the end, but i'll try my best to put all of these in the description box. So you know what you're working with so just to get started. I'M going to go ahead and put the silk infusion by chi into my hair and kind of just detangle, my hair out. It was somewhat dry, but not fully dry, and so i just went ahead and added heat protectant before i went through with the blow dryer to blow dry, my hair, and so now, when i blow dry, i'm just blow drying to get it straight enough. But it doesn't have to be completely bone straight because you still have to go through and like straighten it and whatnot, as you guys will see later. So i'm just doing the best. I can my arms started hurting, but that's what i could do and so then i'm gon na go in with my timer ring straightener and y'all. This thing literally makes straightening my hair so easy. So i just parted my hair into four sections, and then i went through with my timer ring straightener, and i like the thing i like about. This is the fact that you can do bigger parts so with the flat iron in order to get your hair straight. As you want it, you have to kind of do like smaller parts and it takes longer and you got ta do multiple runs and all that type stuff, but this literally gets it done in one run, and i found that this is like literally perfect for doing. Ponytails because you don't need like the silk purse, straightening anyways, you just need to be. You know somewhat straight so i love this thing yeah and so, once i finished straightening, i went ahead and went back through my timer ring straightener and kind of tried to get a little bit of my kitchen and stuff back there, just so that when i spray It and gel it up: it's not, you know all crinkly and you know messed up and so now for the next step, it's time for you to go ahead and section off your bang, and so for this one. The way i section it off, the part is sort of like a half circle type thing, because i think that was enough for coverage all around, but also for the bang to kind of like go down in my face and whatnot. So i section that off and then pinned it up so that way i can go ahead and put my hair into a ponytail and so for the ponytail. I don't know if you guys have watched one of my previous ponytail videos, but i like to kind of separate my edges off so that way, they'll be easier to slick down and won't really mess up the quality of the ponytail. So that's what i'm doing right there. I just brush my edge, my edges, the opposite way and now i'm going through trying to do my little ponytail and i use my comb originally to just get the ponytail as tight or not even as tight, but just as sleek as i possibly can. And then i go through my got to be spray in my blow dryer and from there they got to be spray. I literally just spray a little bit of that on, like my flyaways and just around the perimeter of my ponytail, and then i go back through with my blow dryer on cool and kind of just blow dry and rub, and that does the trick. So you can keep going in with the god to be sprayed until the polynei until the ponytail is slick enough for your liking, and so once it is, i like to remove my hair tie and then reapply it. So that way, all the flyaways that i caught. What they got to be can now be in the ponytail, then, for the next step, we're going to go ahead and start applying the ponytail, and so how i do this is i like to just put my actual ponytail into a little braid, and so, if you Have shorter hair then you may have to add in like weave, but i didn't really think that was like too too necessary for this style, and so once i did that i sealed the end with a rubber band and then the way i connect my hair to The track is, i literally grab a tiny. You know, strand of hair at the end of the track and wrap that with my uh end of my braid and then it's going to look like that and then from there. You just really have to make sure that rubber band at the end is secure and then from there wrap up and just go up until you know you get to the top of your ponytail and the key for this one, because i love this. The fact that this is a glueless method, you have to make sure you wrap a lot at the bottom of like your braid. So that way, as it's going up, there's more weight at the bottom and the ponytail flows down instead of looking all stiff and stuff, and so then to sew this ponytail in once, i finally run out of track i'll grab a small strand of hair and literally Wrap that hair around the ponytail, so this gives the ponytail extra security as well as making your ponytail look a little tighter. So you know be careful, but i just wrapped that all the way around and then there we have it and now for the invisible kind of ponytail look. I just went and grabbed like a good amount of hair from under the ponytail and from there i wrapped it around the ponytail, and i used kind of my thumb and my comb to spread it out to make sure it. You know looked how i wanted to look, and so, as i wrapped it around, i sprayed got to be spray on it. So that way, the hair would stick to each other and it wouldn't unravel easily, and so once i finished that i just blow dry to make sure all the got to be spray set in and everything and then to close it off. I went through with a piece of thread and that's just another way, to trap all of those flyaways that kind of got caught up, as you were kind of wrapping, a ponytail and stuff, and so now before we go ahead and get started with the bang. I'M just going to go in and do my edges and for my edge routine. I actually have a video up on my channel kind of going through that so right now, i'm just literally swooping my edges and calling it a day and finally, it's time to get started with this bang. So i took my clip off and the first thing i decided to do was go through my timer straightener to just get a really nice straighten on that bang and it was really giving y'all like the volume. Was there, and so the next step for this? Is i parted off, like the first part, where i'm going to lay the first track and then i grab like i just cut off a random piece of track and i put it towards my scalp. So that way, i'm able to measure it - and i left a little space both in the front and in the back of where the track will lay so that way it can have hair to cover it. Then i added my 30 second glue and then i blow dry just a little bit and then put it on my head and i use my two fingers to kind of hold the track in place. While i blow dry it and i blow dried like back and forth on cool and on hot, sometimes the hot was a little too hot, so mainly on cool. And so i just repeat this step as i go through um adding tracks to my bang and i somewhat used really thin pieces because i really wanted the tracks to be able to not only cover my real hair but somewhat sandwich my real hair. So that way anywhere, that my like real hair lacks in length or whatever the track will be able to kind of supplement that in a way, and so i can't remember exactly how many tracks i added in total, but i just added up until i had um Just a little bit hair left over to cover it up. That'S the thing you may need to make sure when you're doing your very last track is that you leave enough hair on that last piece to flip over and cover the track, and you guys will see that now, as i go through and kind of like comb, It back over safe and sound with you. What would it take to say a life that ain't made for you all truth, no lie haven't, got no peace of mind, and so now the last, but definitely not the easiest step. I went through with my curling iron to curl my bang and it came out pretty cute this first time, but later on in the style, you guys will see. I decided to switch up to the wand curler and i liked how that looked. But if you prefer, like the curling iron look, then you know feel free and then just pin it up afterwards, but as y'all can see, i'm going through with my wand curler, and i don't even know why i didn't do the wand curler the first time, but The way i want curls, i just use kind of like somewhat small sections, and i count to about 10 mississippi, maybe 15 mississippi, and then i remove them, but i kind of like don't let them fall too, too, quick. So that way the curls can, you know, stay there just a little bit and then you know go from there. Okay, y'all! So that's all i have for this video today. Hopefully, this tutorial was helpful for y'all. This is the final look and i really like it. I don't know if y'all kind of noticed towards the end i switched from the curling iron to the wand curler, because i just like the look that the one curler gave off and i liked how the curls looked a little better. But let me know down below how it comes out if you try this out. If you try other's technique - and thank you all so so much for tuning in you already know, click smash smack the subscribe button down below and i will see y'all on my next video
