She'S a bad day: hello, oh hey! You guys IV, and today I'm coming down here with a really really quick video. You guys, I'm sorry. The quality is all I'm having some issues with my camera, so I had to use my blog encounter for today's video, but I just want to show you guys a takedown of this quickly. Can you tell, I know you guys have been interested in knowing how to take it down how long it lasts all that good stuff. So my hair has been up for about a week and I could honestly leave it up because it's still pretty tight on there, but I'm I'm tired of the style. You guys, I'm tired of chilling my hair down, I'm just. I need to wash it it's itchy. I'M tired of it, but I'm pretty sure that style collapsed like two or three weeks, because I had me the best looking a scarf on and my hands held together this good so yeah. I know you guys are we're not, but I've never had this style before so on the takedown I'm just winging it, but it shouldn't be pretty easy. You guys, because I didn't glue anything to my hair. The only glue is on the little plastic baggie. That'S protecting your hair and, if you're new, here and you're clueless what I'm talking about, make sure you go ahead and check the description bar. So you guys can see my previous video to see what I did enough talking. Let'S go, get it and remove it. So I'm pretty much just gon na, like think I could just like pulley yep. All you do is slightly pulling and the slides right now. This is the ponytail right here slid off super easy, as you guys can see, my hair is not in there yeah. That was super easy um, nothing on my hair and my hair feels very nice still moisturize. I can feel it so. Yes, you guys that's it. I do have like some gel buildup, but my hair feels absolutely soft. No damage in it super easy combs. In my hair do have to I'm just gon na co, wash the gel out. If you guys don't see my video, let me cut in my hair, I did go ahead and cut it and I go ahead and cut it more easier. I kind of cut it in a little shape, but, as you guys can tell so, if I do want to wear it in its natural state, it'll have like some types right now see how much gels on my heel there's a lot of gel in my hair. So I definitely have to co wash my hair. I actually don't know I look at. I actually don't mind my hair short. I just have to figure out exactly how I'm styling it I'm so tempted to do a press. I still personally, I might, if I do I'll, definitely do a video on it. My hair was pretty damaged from pregnancy, it wasn't really damaged from heat or anything like that. So yes, that is it. My hair feels soft. It was super easy to take out, as you guys can see. All you literally do is pull on it a little firm and it's the whole thing slides around now. As far as we're using this, and once you do this style, you know it's kind of over with with the hair, you probably pull the loose and go ahead and use it again and a lot of you guys don't realize how much I cut my hair, like I cut my hair, a lot love it, as you can see like see how blunt it is. A lot of people were sounded like I was click veining and I really cut my hair all honey yeah. I did it not really did so. I had to come back real, quick, I'm actually doing a co-wash and I just want to show you guys how much better, like my hair looks so much better. Like my curls are popping it's no damage, oh, when I'm so happy, I'm so happy. I decided to cut it. Oh my god. I love my curls, but you know what you guys my hair, my hair wasn't the same every since I had that uh that protein treatment, no ever I did. I know I have low porosity hair after, like my hair type, it's like 4a, 4b, 4x + 1, but my hair is very fine at the same time. So I think that's why I get like really straight like that, because my strands are fine, but this stuff. It feels big, it's so much easier to wash now, like you guys, don't even know when I was holding onto those and oh honey hearts awash, I'm just I'm amazed, it's my shedding in your Wow. So it's 60. Ladies out there, if you have to cut your hair and just get to do it, the girls just cut it, it's gon na feel so much better and healthier and older. I just have a little bit of heat damage in the front, but I'm gon na be cutting that as it just grows out more okay, guys are just rinsed out the conditioner. My shrink is just real and you see the little bit of heat damage around the planet. I'M gon na eventually cut that so cute, oh, my god is so cute. I think if I let it dry like this, I'm gon na shock the hell out of you know. If I start to take care of my hair, I might be able to wear freakin wash and gos. Oh, it's so cute. I know I have low porosity hair. Look it's already stretching out. I have a TWA, I can't believe it. I haven't seen you in the Afro so cute, okay, guys. So I just kind of get my little itches and I put like a little band on it right there and brush it and push the back. I don't have any product and I'm just gon na um grapeseed oil in my hair and I'm just gon na rock it like this. That'S I figure out. What are you doing with my hair, you guys so when doing the oil, do you do it like? Okay? I got ta watch them natural hair videos, cuz, it's like, so that's it you guys. I hope you enjoyed this quick little video. Please don't forget to subscribe. Thumb me up and comment below and I'll talk to you guys in the next video Gracie's might be great, but I love your blooper and perfect for a virgin baby. I warfare

JoAnna Johnson: There is a difference between heat damage and heat trained. If your hair is stretched in the front consistently, even without heat, your curls will not be prominent in the front of your hair. Your hair can be easily trained by being consistent with your styling. So what a lot of people call heat damage, may not be damage at all. Just keep that in mind. And also know that it is completely possible to have multiple textures and curl patterns in your hair. Some of your hair may never curl. That doesn't mean it's damaged. Another tip that might be useful to you is to not put oil in your hair before putting some type of moisture in it, whether it be a leave in or a styler of some sort. You want the oil to seal in moisture, not dryness. For some people, putting oil on the hair after just water will cause the hair to be more dry. Remember oil and water don't mix so the oil will act as a repellant instead of a sealant. Hope this helps.

Diandra Says: I've been transitioning for a year and a half and holding on to these relaxed ends, thinking about cutting them off every time I wash it. You inspired me to just go for it. I'm gonna cut those ends this weekend!

pinkhead: I asked for the take down, and Ivy did it y'all!

Nia B.: You have beautiful natural curls! You're such a sweety pie Damage hair can grow back with patience & consistency! The cut was such a smart move!

Transcending 92: It made me feel so good how happy you seemed with your natural hair, I hope that you embrace it more.

Chantelley: YASSS! Thank you so much Ivy!! That took you like 0.05 seconds to take out LOL

Paris J.: Struggling to take out one side of my ponytail from my 2 braid pony tail. I even cut the nappy synthetic shit and was still struggling. YouTube for help and look at God. You are amazing boo. I literally just pulled that sucka out and behold my natural briad finally. Lol thanks for the tips.

Glorious Woman: Thank you for showing us the take down!!!! I would live to see the silk press tutorial!!!

mrszreyes: awww Ivyyy! you could feel the self love thru the screen when you were admiring your curls

Pearll Jewels: Personally I think you could really rock wash & go's. You could pretty much rock any hair style. You could be speaking to a little bit of a different audience, if you decide to do that... if you know what I mean. You have a gift. I believe you have a looser grade of hair than 4b or c. You've got a great head of hair just spend some time getting to know it, and sharing that knowledge with your subbies I believe you'll be glad you did. Just something to consider.

Charming Charlie: Helpful tip.. For the health of your hair.. Please do not comb it while it's dry and especially when gel is on it. That will cause breakage as. Good luck with your hair journey.

Shan Hickson: Wow! That was so easy coming out

unknown user: Ivy does it again ❤️❤️

Aurélie Zinaida V.: The good sis Ivy LITERALLY snatched ha own weave/ponytail! IconIQ!

patricewilcox: Girl, get you some good leave-in conditioner that works well with you hair and see if that helps to define your curls and I bet you'll love it even more!!!

jasmin jackson: Girl I was scared to pull it off like that but thanks it worked

B marie: Grape seed oil mix with a little peppermint oil is my hairs best friend

Trice Tyme: Yup that was easy! I saw this before the install.

Shontay Johnson: Your hair is so cute like that

Carolyn Dye: Thank you for this one sis.

Briana Brown: I was wondering if anybody else got get build up like that. I love my ponytails but that gel flaking is THE WORST

Neisha Monee: Your def going to need more than oil my love. Do the LOC method every time you wash it. Don’t forget to deep condition too.. and try a no heat challenge

DARRIANE: Please please do more natural hair videos

G. Edouard, RN: I love your natural hair

Aka Shae: Your skin is everything

Max English: Love your hair...look so cute

Kalisha J: Your bob is so cute!! You cut quite a bit off too so I don't know how anyone saw that as click bait.

Sarah Moore: You look beautiful ivy.

The Life of Two Sisters: Hey ivy u so beautiful I love your chocalte skin..n u your videos...i did the valentines day look he loved it,

Nitabonita86 BG: How you just gone cut yourself off like that lol lol your hair looks really healthy I’ve only been “natural” since my birthday, let’s see how long I last

flexmaster2009: Ivy that is too much hair to be called a TWA! lol. its cute tho girl!

Sonisha Walker: I don’t think you needed to cut your hair. I saw you do the braid takedown. You said you had the braids in for 2 months. The amount of hair that came out was pretty much average. Hair normally sheds at 50-100 hairs a DAY. Also noticed you said your hair wasn’t thick all the way to the ends. Surprisingly a lot of people’s hair naturally thins out at the ends. My hair does and I’ve had hair stylists try and tell me I need to chop three or more inches to be healthy which simply wasn’t true. My hair has always thinned out a bit at the ends even when it was to my waist. I haven’t trimmed my ends in about a year and my hair still grows very well. I think it’s due to my hair care regimen. Right now my hair is almost to bra strap and my goal is to reach waist length by next year summer. I can’t wait to see your hair journey!

tyler burkes: Just a tip you should always shampoo after using gel to get out all that build up cowashing doesn’t really remove it all

Alondra Cox: Which protein treatment did you use Aphogee?

KellyJelly9976: 5:14 you look like a doll :) so cute

Dominique Walls: What KIND OF HAIR MRS. IVY WOULD U RECOMMEND FOR THIS STYLE ? I attempt and the hair was not so good .. God bless

starkiss01: It do look much better

ninaflls: Awww luv ya ivy ❤❤

beaYOUtifullme Shante: Your hair is so cute

Shawnece Cornell: Where did you get the three way mirror from

quishadoll: I have really bad dandruff so i know that gel gon tear me up. I need recommendations for a good gel

Love Lee: The acronym tho TWA I’m too done.

Kiara Humphries: You should try Ayurvedic remedies for hair growth and build a routine. You’ll gain crazy strength, thickness, and length doing so. Some remedies are a little tedious but they are so worth it ! Love your channel btw

Carrollyn Durant: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

agendagurl: what lashes are u wearing?

Karah Nicole: Natural hair straighten video

Tara Picked the Peppers: Do you have heat damage?

CRAAYKIDD: you look like a type 3 girl.

Bratzzz Hizee: WTH I’m struggling rn trying to take it off rn
