What'S good, you guys? Oh that's, probably hello! What'S good, you guys, i'm trying not to be too loud. I need to know how loud i can be, how long? What'S good you guys, what's poppin aka aj and welcome, or welcome back to my channel. I don't know if i should look at myself or look at the camera through the mirror. I don't know, but today's video i'm just gon na, be doing my hair. I did this ponytail last week and it was like you know the whole like barbie-esque ponytail, with the whole side, bang swoop thing and the little ponytail flipped up in the back, and it was cute. It was cute, but there's something i need to change about it. Like, instead of doing the whole side school thing, i'm not doing that again this time, because, honestly, it's just as annoying as like wearing a lace front, if you ever had to wash your face or work out with a lace front, you know what i'm talking about. It'S hella annoying like it's just in the way it's over my forehead, like i'm trying not to get away, because i want to keep the swoop intact and i'm not like it was just a lie. It was just live. It was just like so this time when i do it, i'm just going to like just pull all my hair up into a ponytail instead of doing like a little sweet thing just because i don't want to switch me out away, it's just going to cause a Lot of problems - and i just it's cute for the time being, but it's not an everyday thing for me right now, i'm just starting off with freshly washed and blow-dried hair. My hair has been growing and breaking off at the same time. I don't know like recently: it's been growing, but it did go through a period. It was just breaking off hella crazy and i do blame myself. Obviously, like your hair, doesn't just break off for no reason. I clearly just wasn't doing what was needed for my hair, but now i'm just trying to be on top of it. I'M going to take my hair and start brushing it up into this ponytail, i'm not exactly sure how high i want it to be. This time. A little rough and tough a little snappy snappy, so for right now, i'm just doing like a little mock ponytail. I just like get my hair up about where i want it and then obviously, i'm gon na go in with, like gels and stuff and smooth this bad boy out we'll be taking about this much. You know a cute little generous amount, nothing too crazy. I guess take this and i'm gon na spread it out between my hands. I hope my ponytail doesn't get in the way and i'm just gon na go like this and start placing it all around the perimeter of my head, i'm getting on my ponytail. I look like my mother od. Well, my hair is better. I have a big forehead, a very big forehead. I have a very big head now. I'M gon na go on with my hard brush my little smoothing brush that has stuck with me through the years as you can tell this brush has been through it baby like look at the brush. Another like this is low-key kind of smooth like it's smooth, but it's not sleek, so i'm gon na go with my next product and my next product is going to be my edge booster. Now let me push that one about the edge booster. Okay. I have seen this everywhere, as i'm pretty sure some of y'all have, but honestly i slept on it because um my fellow natural girls out there, i could probably understand when, like i say, like the consistency of this product like it just makes you think that it's Just like one of those watery type excuse me watery type of like edge controls, and that is definitely not going to hold down anything that i got going on up here. Let me tell you, as booster, is actually really good, like it's amazing. Actually, like i mean this licks my hand down like crazy, but with all good things, there has to be a little bad time and edge. Booster definitely turns white and i mean definitely turns white and i mean fast. Okay, so, like you really want to be careful with this product, like i remember, i used it the first time and i was like oh my god, i got the holy grail. Oh my goodness! No, i don't know. I went crazy with this product. Okay, i went crazy, just like i do with my um eco styler and it turned white by like the second day, my ponytail was looking like ashy gray, and i was like i'm going to take a decent amount of this. Nothing too crazy, like i just said, since i'm using it for the whole of my head at one time i'll, take about this much literally this much i'm going to take it put it on my finger. I'M just going to rub this all around now, i'm going to apply evenly throughout my head now, as you can see it automatically is like sleeking everything like you see what i mean like automatically. My hair is just it's like magic. I'M telling it's like magic! All right boom now, as you can see, i have a sweet and smooth ponytail on top of this huge melon of mine. So now this is like all done: sleek and smooth whatever the case may be, i'm gon na go with my comb, don't mind my home. This is my bag. I don't know what i did with my good comb like i don't know where it went. There'S another one just like this, but it's not raggedy. I don't know, but i'm gon na take my comb and i'm just gon na take out my baby hairs. Take out somebody's edges, i'm not gon na, drag it and take out honestly the full of my baby hairs, just because i don't feel like doing all of that. We'Re going to take out what's needed for me all right now that i've taken out a little bit of my edges. I want to go back in with edge booster again. You want to be mindful that you are using very little of it, but this honestly holds your edges down. Like you think it's like this ponytail baby, i mean i just be late for days. I'M going to take a wax strip. You guys can get these. I, like your local beauty, supply store. Let me just secure it down. Stick your van, the perimeter of my head now that that is secure and i'm probably looking crazy. I said i'm gon na just take my hair, that's up here and i'm gon na braid. It down alright guys so now i've braided up my hair. I added a little bit of braiding hair because since i had my hair sitting in this ponytail for so long, it started to like i guess, like curl up. I guess i don't know we decided to like get that shrinking method to it and it started to become like extra extra extra thick and it was honestly really hard for me to get this braid down and it just it wouldn't. So i just added some more hair to it to make a little bit longer and now i'm going to start by adding the ponytail to my hair, all right. So what you want to do is you want to start by taking your little bundle whatever and i'm just going to start by taking the end of my braid damn i hope you can see hoping i'm blocking the end of my braid and i'm gon na wrap. This end of the weft around it - maybe me, okay, so now that the hair is secured to the end of my ponytail, you just want to go ahead and start wrapping the hair around your ponytail. Now when wrapping it, you want to go as tight as possible. Now that i'm at the end of this west, i'm laughing because it's been a journey, i'm going to take a piece of the hair from the ending and i'm just going to take and wrap this around the base of my ponytail really tightly all right. So yeah now that i'm at the top - and i got to take another bundle to go in - you just want to go and take this now you're going to take a little piece at the end of the bundle of good again again, and you want to go Ahead and round back, you just want to wrap this around the base of your ponytail. At this point, you just want to make sure that everything is lying flat and when you wrap this part around since you're at the top, you just want to make sure that you just don't wrap it like super duper tight, as you did, the other bundle just Because i found that, if you wrap it like mad tight, it can start to look like really bulky and wonky looking. So you just want to be careful, you want it to be secure, but you don't want it to be looking crazy another once again. At the end of the bundle, i'm just going to go and wrap this around the base of my wine towel once again, all right now that it's all wrapped and all done, we just want to take a piece of the hair from the back, which i have In my hand - and you want to just make sure that you brush and smooth this piece out, i like to take my spritz spray and i just give it a little spritz, i'm gon na like get to wrap it alright guys. This is the final look. I cut a little bit layers, obviously i'm not professional, so it was a little chubby, but i did what i did and then i just flipped the ends of it, and this is the final look as you guys can see. It'S very bouncy very full, and it's just amazing, i'm obsessed! I love it. Do you love it? I love it. If you don't love it that, because i love it all right y'all. This is my first time even doing this method, so even if you feel like you're a beginner, this is clearly beginner friendly, because this is my first time doing a ponytail, like i said, using this method and it clearly came out cute either way it goes.
