How To Do A Barbie Ponytail W/ Weave #Naturalhairfriday #Barbieponytail

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, as you guys can tell by today's title and stuff. Today'S video is going to be a barbie ponytail. I did a bar appointed, so i didn't do a long super bobby ponytail like a long long ball, point tip, because i still want to look a little natural, not it my curls kind of falling, because i keep combing it out. But this is how it looks as you guys, if i didn't say this already, as you guys know it's natural hair friday, so i'm gon na hush and we can just go ahead and get right into the video. How i did this little cute, barbie ponytail. So the things you're gon na need in this video would be a hair tie. A razor comb which i didn't even use, you're gon na want some glue, so you can glue your tracks on and you're going to want some weave. Now. I also forgot to say you want some wrapping, it's like wrapping paper, but it's for your hair. So i'm going to show y'all later what i'm talking about, because i forgot - and i don't know what it's called. I honestly don't know. But what i'm going to be doing right now is go ahead and push in my hair without pushing pushing what pushing i'm gon na be brushing my hair up into like its base ponytail. So i have a base to go off back, because this ponytail is not sleek, as you guys can see so um. This is the base ponytail, and this is how it's looking so i'm gon na go in with some eco styler gel and i'm just gon na. Be brushing all of that up and really sleekly slickly. Is that a weird y'all sleekly? I don't know, but i'm gon na be brushing that all the way up and getting all my edges and everything nice, because i'm doing this on very old hair like um, my hair is old like oh and it has a lot of product in it. So i was like you know, i'm going to be i'm going to sleep, my hair i might as well just not. I was going on a fresh wash, but i was like no i'm not going to do all that because i'm going to sleep this down with so much more product, so yeah. If y'all was wondering. My hair looks like that. It'S getting old now going with my style, effector and the style effect just gives it that extra sleek this part is optional, but i know i like to you like love. I cannot talk y'all i like to use the style factor because it just goes and it just sleeks it perfectly, as you guys can see. Do i have a widow's peak like oh, my god. I think i got a widow's peak and i'm just not realizing. Oh, my god, i've never noticed that. I also going with three hair ties. I don't know if i went with the third one, yet i was not paying attention because i was looking at my widow's peak, but i going with three hair ties and no. My head is not tight, but that's because i have thick hair, but now i'm going with this edge wax stick and it's just going to get everything super super sleek. Now this is the barbie ponytail, so you want your ponytail to be sleek or everything to be neat, of course. So this is what i'm doing to get everything neat and sleek and perfect, and i'm just going to be brushing and brushing, and now i'm going with the third hair tie um. You can do two, but i like to do three. I wouldn't go over three. I don't know: oh, this is the third one right here, my bad, because i had one end. This is the third one, so i have three hair ties in as you guys can see, i'm just brushing that and sleeking that so with my hair. Being short, you guys, i cannot braid it. So what i did was i went in and rubber banded, as you guys can see like i'm rubber banding, the top the middle - it's not even in the camera, but i hope y'all can understand what i'm doing. I'M just rubbing it to make it like slim sleek, as you guys can see like it's giving that sort of vibe, because i don't know how to break my own hair like i can't break my own ponytail for some reason. I don't understand why. But i cannot braid that and it's too short, so i can't i'm just going with some of my edge booster stuff. I did some sideburns and i'm just going to be tying this down so because you wanted to be slick, sleep, sleep y'all, like a super super super super super sleek, so um this is the wrapping stuff i'm talking about. I don't know what this stuff is called, but i did get it from the hair store, but i got it from the hair store like a long long long time ago, so i wouldn't be able to tell y'all what this stuff is called, but i'm just going With some freeze blast and i'm just gon na dry it to make sure that you know it stays now that is gon na protect your hair. From the glue like i said. Well, i didn't say this, but i'm gon na say now: um it's it's optional. It'S different ways: you can do your barbie ponytail, like you, don't have to do it this way, but i feel like this way gives it more of a seamless neater look i feel like, and it's going to last longer, so i'm just going in with my glue And i'm just brushing all the glue up on that paper stuff, as you guys can see like i'm just gluing, that you want to get it glued glue like get the glue everywhere, but don't be too messy with it, because this is a little messy. It got on my hands, but this glue does come off really easy. It'S like a rubbery texture when it dries. So that's a good thing. So, as you guys can see right here, i'm just going in and i'm going to be wrapping the hair all the way around my ponytail. Now, i'm glad i will say i'm glad i didn't get long long hair because um, if i would have got long long, long, hair, that ponytail would have been the longest that well a long ponytail. That'S why i told y'all um, i didn't need the razor comb thing, but i'm glad i didn't need it because you know this ponytail was the right length. I honestly don't know what lymph this is. So i cannot tell y'all, because i just picked this thing up and went out the door like. I didn't even want to be in her that long. So that's that um and, like i don't know, i would give this hairstyle to another 10 out of 10. Maybe, like a nine like, if you don't know how to do this, it's going to be kind of hard for you. You know if you can't like do your hair like if you can't wrap it, it's going to be kind of hard, but the hairstyle is really easy. It'S a really quick, easy hairstyle! All you need is weave, really weave and glue, because everybody got hair ties and a brush and and um what else edge, control and gel and all that stuff. But i cut that piece so i can go in and give it that seamless clean. Look at the top right there, so you guys can see. I also like doing it this way because it covers your whole, like your hair, up like when you do it and you have that burner there, your bun shows sometimes, and it's not really giving what it's supposed to gain. It'S not really that cute, but now i'm going in and i'm going to be flipping the hair with my flat iron now i know you guys are wondering: when did she go in and wrap the ponytail? I went and wrapped around the base off camera because it was giving me a kind of a hard time because the hair was a little short but yeah and also y'all. I did not know this. Hair was um non jj. If you don't know what 9j is it's like? A red, color hair, i didn't know that in the store it looked um like a black color, but i don't know so. This is how the hairstyle turned out when you did some cute little pink eyeshadow. I didn't put any lashes on, but i did go with some mascara because you know i didn't want to do too much with the eye look or whatever. So you know um. This is the hair also, if y'all want to know the brand of hair. What'S the brand i just had to pack hold on, i can't find the piece that came in here, so we don't have to go off with this. Basically, so this hair, this hair, that i'm using my hair is from she and it was 7.99, so eight dollars eight dollars, it's cute, it's really cute and all that. So let me take the shades off. Y'All can see like the full look and all that also be careful when you're putting heat to this hair, because this hair is um a mixed blend. I believe, like i said, it's eight dollars, but it's a good eight dollars. So, yes, i got the pink on. I got the lash we're not the last. I got the glasses but um.
