Luxy Hair Curly Ponytail Extension | Unboxing + First Time Styling (Sleek High Pony)

Oh guys, i don't even feel like the same person right now. Who is she hey everyone? It'S ariel welcome or welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to be unboxing and styling my new package from luxie hair, which is a 20 inch curly ponytail extension. It comes in this box like this, i did open up the box, but i haven't got any further than that, because i knew i wanted to film this video for you guys so right off the bat. This is what it looks like coming out of the box. It has the typical luxie logo. Oh, let me show you the right way, typical luxie logo on the front in the middle, and i don't know why i wasn't expecting a box like this. For some reason i thought it was just gon na come in one of the like round. Luxy hair boxes, like all their other products, do or at least i thought, but clearly it has its own box. So i guess ponytails come in this like long rectangle box, which i think is cool but typical, luxy packaging. Just love like the details on everything like this little gold accent on the logo. I just think it's super nice. So let's open this up. This is literally my first time looking at it. I swear. I haven't even opened this up, so if you guys don't know, lexi's hair extensions all come with a tester weft, so that you can just make sure that it's a proper color match before you like open the whole set of extensions, and i did do the color Match like perfect match thing that they have on their website um. So i think this is going to be good, but obviously i will hold this up to my hair and make sure before i open this up. But i do think it's really nice if they include that, because that way, if you're not sure or if like it's just not quite the right color, you can return them and get the right shade before you like, open them up and you're stuck with them. So i love that they include the tester wefts open this up, and i also like for the style that i want to do today. I knew it was gon na be easier to do it if my hair was a little bit wet. So i wet my hair before i started recording, but then i realized that i probably should have left it dry so that i could match it properly, but i'm just gon na pretend that that's not the case right now. I'M just going to match it the best. I can and just kind of use my imagination. Hopefully it's good. So let's see it is a lot less curly than my actual hair. I mean i've brushed through my hair and like it's not looking the best right now, but i feel, like the color, is perfect. See that especially if i like pulled it a bit: oh yeah, literally the perfect color yay, okay, that makes me happy because that's always like the biggest thing, seeing if it's gon na match your hair, so yeah this i can just put aside for now and now We can open up the actual ponytail extension. You guys have no idea. How excited i am like i mean just getting like new luxy hair packages is the most exciting thing for me, so i'm gon na take my little sticker off now, so they have one of these little things on each side. I'M just gon na take off both. Obviously, i won't be returning these now that i know the color matches and then this little part just lifts off like that she's, so pretty yay, i'm so excited you guys before i actually like open up the extension itself. I want to show you guys what else comes in this package um. So, of course the tests are weft very important and then they always include these little. Like pamphlet, booklet things, so this one says curly ponytail, hair extension. So it's just like a little instruction sheet. It usually has like, if there's any heat, styling directions or anything like that that'll be in here, how to style it, how to care for it. Just really anything you're gon na need for your extensions for this one. It shows you like exactly how to put it in step by step which might come in handy for me, we'll see but yeah and then on the back. They just have like kind of questions that they've answered. Not me smacking, my lens okay. So just all kinds of information for your hair extensions and they always include these in every hair extension set and then in this part of the box, where the extension piece is so, it comes on this little like paper board same as the tester weft. Let'S put this down here, so this is the extension of course, and then i think i just dropped it, but it also comes with a couple of bobby pins to help secure your ponytail, which i think is a really nice touch. So you don't even have to have your own bobby pins like they literally include everything. You'Re gon na need right in this box. I believe they call these the gravity-defying hair ties and they are supposed to be really good for, like creating volume and just helping your ponytail really stay like secure in place. So it's really perfect for a style like this, where you want that, like nice, voluminous pony and obviously you don't want it to be moving throughout the day, you want to be nice and secure. So i'm so thankful if they sent me these. That'S such a sweet. I was like a little bit nervous. The color wasn't gon na match, but i feel like it is honestly perfect. So happy, okay! So let's open this up, so it's just attached with little um. I don't know what you call those but little like plastic pins. Okay! So now i have my beautiful ponytail. I believe you are supposed to like give it a little bit of a shake before you like, actually go and put it in, because it has been like sitting in a box, so just to kind of like loosen up the curls a little bit. You guys, i'm so excited to put this in, like you guys, don't even know before i like show you guys how it actually works, because i'm still kind of new to it myself. I am going to like actually style my hair so that it's ready for the extension so, like i said i did already like brush through and dampen my hair. It'S kind of drying already honestly so i'll probably have to re-wet it. But my plan is to do a really sleek high ponytail, so i just know it's gon na work better. If my hair is soaking wet and i'm gon na give it a quick detangle, even though i did just do that, but i am gon na be like pulling and sleeking all of my hair back. So it's just gon na help me out a lot if it's tangle free, clearly it needed another detangle. Do you guys hear this yikes and i haven't decided yet if i want it to be like a no part ponytail or if i want a middle part, i can't decide you guys who i want, i'm kind of feeling just on no part. I think that's what i'm gon na do so, i'm just gon na brush all of my hair back kind of get it going into the direction that i want the ponytail to be in, and i'm going to open up these elastics because i'm going to use one Of these today, i love these, i feel like they are going to last a while, like they just feel like really good quality. And again these don't come with the ponytail extension, but they do sell these on their website, so i'll try to link them in the description as well. If i can so yeah guys, i'm just gon na pull all of my hair into a high ponytail and create this sleek pony, look essentially the base for my curly ponytail, which is going to be the star of the show today. I don't know why my hair is so tingly. I forgot to mention what i'm using, but first i'm using my paddle brush from the body shop same one. I always use you guys literally use this in almost every video. At this point now, i'm going to take my denman brush - i like using this for like sleek styles, because it just does a really good job at like picking hairs up and like just really making sure i'm getting a nice smooth look. So i'm just going in with that, and you guys i can't believe i forgot to put gel in i wanted to do this before, but i can also put in a little bit of gel i'm just using this garnier pure, clean, styling gel and i'm just going To focus it on kind of the top part of my hair, where i'm going to be sleeking it down the most, and now i'm going to take my last brush. This is a three brush. Hairstyle, you guys last brush. Is this one? I believe this is by goody um. I just got it at walmart, but it's like a sleeking slick sleeking. It'S like a boar bristle brush, so i'm gon na take this and use it to get that really nice slicked back smooth style. So now that i have all of my hair slicked back i'm going to take my gravity-defying hair tie and just secure this hair into a ponytail. Oh, these hair ties feel good. You guys, oh my goodness, they are definitely secure. That is for sure, i'm just gon na go over this all one more time with my boar bristle brush. Okay, we've got a nice sleek look happening and i'm actually going to pause and see what they say on the instructions. I did already watch like a few videos specifically on like how to put this ponytail in, but i do want to see like just what they say in the instructions to make sure i'm not missing anything make sure i'm doing everything right here. You guys, i feel, like i have like an eye lift happening here like a brow. Lift my hair is so secure. It feels good, though, like it feels really good but anyway, so looking at this, what they say to do is braid your own hair. I should give it like a proper shake first, because they do say that you should do that. It feels so soft by the way like it feels it feels like real hair, which i love. I mean it is real hair, but feels good. So it has this velcro closure. So what you do is stick this into your ponytail. I guess all three of these and then wrap this piece, it's kind of like tail piece around your ponytail. So if my hand was my ponytail be like this and then this covers the base and the weft, and then you bobby pin that in with the bobby pins that they gave you so instead of using my hand, because that doesn't look right at all. Let me just actually put this in so again. This comb part needs to go at the base of my ponytail. Oh, i need to also braid my hair. I forgot it's probably not a big deal if i don't braid it, but i'll just braid it, because luxie said that okay and we want to do what luxy sets they know. What'S up so just like super quickly, braiding this hair and just going to secure it with one of my own hair ties all right. So now they have my little braid interesting, looking braid um! Now i can take this and take this comb part all three of these and secure it into kind of like underneath this hair tie, and then i'm going to take the ones on each side and secure those as well and then again. Taking this tail piece and just wrapping it around it's kind of hard to talk, while i'm doing this, but just wrapping this tail piece all the way around until i get to the very end, taking my bobby pin and just gon na use this to secure that End piece of hair just like tucking it in wherever i can. I think i will use both bobby pins just to make sure i have it really secured in place. Okay, you guys, i mean she's a new girl. What okay, i feel like it, does need like a little bit more fluffing like now that it's in, i feel like it's like a bit too perfect looking, but at the same time i don't want to frizz it up like too much guys. I don't even feel like the same person right now. Who is she okay, so clearly, i'm freaking out about this, but that was like pretty easy to put in, i mean keep in mind you guys. That was my first time ever doing that and i feel like they kind of try to make their products like easy to put in and like quick to do, because the whole idea is that, if you're going to wear hair extensions, you want it to be. Like a quick thing, you don't want it to take forever to put them in, but you guys look at this. This is cute. I'M going to do a side view because i feel like that's necessary. This is definitely a moment. I am liking it and it feels super secure, like it doesn't feel like it's gon na come out. It feels like my hair. Is it's all stuck in there? It'S all good. I love it like. I really love it. So, by the way you guys, i didn't really like explain what what this is like, what i'm actually wearing so this is the 20 inch curly ponytail. I believe they only have 20 inch, but i could be wrong about that and this is the shade mocha brand balayage. Doesn'T matter um, you can totally rock this and wear this. If you feel like it's something you would like just want to put that out there, because i feel, like i don't know. I just feel like that needs to be said, but you guys i am obsessed with this she's gon na be walking around like so yeah guys, i'm excited to play with this more i mean i just wanted to do a quick style and like unboxing video, because, Obviously i just got it and i haven't used it at all yet, but i wanted you guys to be there for my first impression of it and just like the first look at it um. I don't usually wear stuff like this, but i'm excited. I got this because, first of all it looks super cute and it's just like a different style from like how i normally wear my hair. So i like that, and also i like that, it'll be something i can wear when i don't necessarily want to wear my hair straight, because that was something i was finding like. I would always want to wear my luxy like clip-in hair extensions, but then i'm like, oh, but i have to straighten my hair first and then i kind of just made it like. I don't know i feel like i wasn't wearing them like, as often as i kind of wanted to just because sometimes i don't really want to straighten my hair and like it's not good, to straighten it too much. So i love that i can wear this with my natural hair. I mean you guys saw how i started this video and how it looks now it's quite the upgrade. So i love that i can like wear it with my natural hair. It'S just a different look. It'S super fun and like flirty and chic i love it. I'M excited to play around with it and do different styles. You can do so many different things with this. You can do a side pony. If you want, you could do a low pony, mid pony hi pony, like you, can do all kinds of different styles. You could probably even like make this into a bun. If you wanted to like a messy curly bun. I feel like that could be like a vibe too. You know, but yeah guys. I think that's pretty much it for this video. So hopefully you guys enjoyed it.
