$20 Extended Curly Ponytail | Megantheestallion Inspired

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel. It'S your head betty in charge, kirsten simone, but we're family. So call me keith on this channel. We do beauty and lifestyle videos and today we are doing this megan the stallion inspired, ponytail honey. So if you are ready to get into it, let's get into it all right. What i'm doing now guys is, i am going to separate my hair into three sections that will allow me to form my ponytail a little bit better. So i am separating a top section here, as you can see, with a rubber band, then i am going to go in the middle and section out the middle section, and i am just going to put a rubber band on that to hold that into place and Then i am going to show you guys the three sections here: that's what it looks like i'm going to take the eco styler gel in the black jar and i'm going to start in the middle of my hair and i'm going to start putting gel there, because That is going to be the foundation of my ponytail, so i'm going to just use my comb to make sure all the strands are in place. Everything is nice and neat, and i'm just going to comb everything into place, and now i am taking the back section of course. Well, i'm still um putting a rubber band on the middle section, but in this next clip i'm going to then take the back section and go ahead and comb everything up and into place as you see here so before i put any more gel on it. I just wanted to comb it into place, and then i will go ahead and apply the gel and then go ahead and comb everything into place. We want to make sure this is very nice and sleek and there are no bumps or bruises while we're trying to put our hair in a ponytail. I took a small, hard brush to also assist with getting those hairs into place, and then i took a rubber band and i went ahead and rubber band the middle section and the back section together and now we're foaming we're forming our ponytail and then i'm going To take the sides here and i'm going to carve out my baby hairs um that imma have you know i like big fat juicy baby hairs, so i'm gon na go um in a c shape next to my ear and then go in another c shapes kind Of at the temples of my hair line - and i am just going to create the shape of the baby hairs and like i said i, like nice, juicy baby hairs, my edges are a little bit scarce, so i, like nice, juicy baby hairs to you, know cover That up, but nonetheless, i'm still making that c shape here, for you guys, so your baby hairs can form a little bit easier and i'm just going to take that gel and i'm just going to gel one side and comb and brush that side into place. I want to make sure this ponytail is super super sleek, so i'm literally going section at a section at a time section by section that is on so i did the top half first brushed everything together still brushing everything into place, and then, of course i am Going to put that in a rubber band when i am done and then i'm going to proceed to do the next side of the top section of my i hair up on amazing. So what i'm doing now is taking some easy edges and i'm going to go ahead and lay my baby hairs down. I love this edge control. My edges literally do stay all day and it's not like that. Flaky alcoholy type residue or anything like that. Unless you sleep on it, but um other than that, i really really love this edge control. For my texture. Here i am firmed. I am relaxed um, so i really do love how this edge control gives it a nice sleek look. So i'm just gon na go ahead and do my baby hairs and brush those flyaways into my nice little, my little cowlick. That is, i'm trying baby. Okay, we just need face to, and now i'm just going to take some got to be glued and spray that all over my hair and then hit that with the blow dryer to set it. So after i wrapped my hair with a scarf to let it sit down in place, i took some braiding hair and i went ahead and braided my ponytail into some braided hair because we're going to be doing an extended ponytail. So i need a little bit more cushion baby or i need a little bit more room because i have short hair. So i took that connect along and i went ahead and extended. My own ponytail think we need right all right. So now i'm going to take the organique master mix, the water curl. This is in 24 inches. This bundle was only 10, so we did this hairstyle for under 20, guys literally nice beauty, supply hair store hairstyle. I did this two weeks ago and it is literally still in my head, so what i did was i took a little piece of the track in a rubber band and tied the rubber band around the extended ponytail, and now i'm literally just wrapping, i'm not using Any type of glue any sewing needles. I am just literally wrapping the bundle up the ponytail at this point, so the first bundle has now been installed and i am just taking the second bundle. What i did was. I took a piece of the lat of the bundle that i'm putting in now and i went ahead and wrapped it around the base of the ponytail after i wrapped it around the base of the ponytail. I am now going to wrap the track around the base of the ponytail as well. Nobody huh, and in order for it to not be bulky, i went ahead and cut half of the ponytail, as i am swiping it around. The base took that piece that i had left and wrapped that completely around the base and, as you wrap the ponytail, the hair will get tighter. It would all pull together, and this is what helped me secure all this hair that is on this extended ponytail, and what i'm doing now is i'm taking a nice section from the back of the ponytail combing it out, because we're also going to wrap this around The base of our ponytail to give us some height, yes, oh, and to secure that wrap around i'm just going to place some got to be glued there. So y'all see that, yes, she looking good. She looking good and we're almost done so now. What we're gon na have to do is we're going to have to play with the ponytail i'm about to take out my hair dryer and hit that wrap around really quick to make sure that is in place. We want to make sure that that is in place. Honey, because we do not want this ponytail to come off, we do not want all of our hard work to go the way, so we're just going to melt that guy to be glued around the base of that ponytail. So this is what the ponytail is looking like now that we have everything wrapped around and we have the bundles in now. What i'm going to do is simply shape up the ponytail. I was going real, fast huh, but i'm just going to take my scissors and just literally start shaving off some of the hair in this ponytail. I really wanted it to be a nice fluffy pony, so i went ahead and just gave the ponytail some body by cutting it and shredding some of that hair off, and i definitely wanted the length length to be a little bit shorter than what i originally started. With um so you're just going to see me continuously take pieces of the hair and literally just cut them off, and what i'm trying to do is cut in a diagonal way. We don't want to blunt, like little straggly cut for this ponytail, because it'll be noticeable. So i'm just trying to judge everything together and really just cut off some of this hair to get the length that i actually want. You know, is you
