Start To Finish | How To Install A Water Wave Ponytail For The Summer| Ft. Sunber Hair

Um, hey guys, welcome back to my channel, so in today's video i'm going to be installing this clip-in ponytail for you guys from sunburn hair. So first i am just starting off by trying to slick down my hair as much as possible, currently um for the last couple months. I have been not putting any type of heat on my hair, not even a blow dryer. So i'm sticking to that - and i just have to make this work so i started by moisturizing my hair, then wetting it a little bit to kind of get it a little bit flatter and then i'm going to go in with some foam to kind of like Mold my hair down and after i put in the foam i'm going to put on a hair, wrap to um kind of like press, my hair down a little bit more you'll, see in a little bit. But let me just tell you guys about the ponytail. So the ponytail comes in the wet and wavy texture and it is human hair. Just as you guys are aware - and i believe the one that i have is in 18 inches um, it's gon na show up really soon. But okay, let me show you what i'm doing first, so i'm just putting my hair in a ponytail and then i'm gon na braid it i braided it first and then i noticed that because of how the like ponytail was that my hair kind of like stuck Out through it, so then um after i realized that i would like to put my hair in a bun after i put the ponytail on the first time, so i suggest, if you're gon na, do this, don't just do like a braid like you would, with a Regular ponytail, you like wrap the wefts around it. Do um a bun like a really small, tight bun and then just do your ponytail so that your hair doesn't show through it or anything like that, because my little stiff, the braid was just like sticking through. So this is me just like tying my hair down so you're about to see the ponytail in about three two one: okay ponytail. So this is what the ponytail looks like. It comes like a little comb and like a little piece, you wrap around to kind of disguise the like weft material, so um. What i did was i took that comb and i kind of stuck it into my braid. I didn't like put it above it and then i wrapped it around and when i did it the first time i took it down because of the braid as well, but i was like i don't think i wrapped it right, because the little like material was still Showing but me being me, i was like oh you're supposed to wrap the hair around it like a couple times to like fully disguise it like how you would wrap ponytails like disguise your um hair tie. So i took it off, you see, i messed it up and i put it back on i'm so sad, i'm so sorry you guys can't see it like. I wish i could have saw that you guys can see. I was trying my best to keep myself in the frame, but all i'm doing is just sticking that comb in and then i'm about to wrap the hair piece around and you'll see in a second how i start wrapping it around. Okay, there we go so i'm wrapping it around and don't just let's just not talk about my hair because i can't straighten it. I'M just sticking to it. So i'm just wrapping it around wrapping it around wrapping it around and then i'm just gon na, like tuck that last piece like tight in there and it stayed so after i got the um ponytail on. I thought it looked so cute honestly. I wish it was darker. I tried dyeing it, but i guess it didn't get black enough. I would probably have to do like actual hair dye to get it as dark, as i wanted to be, because i just use like the water dye method and the i know the water dye method does not get hair black like i wanted to like. It works for colored hair like if you don't like colors, but it doesn't work for me for black, like the hair always has like. It still looks brown, but now i'm just going in doing my little unruly edges and trying to make them look as good as possible, and i mean that's really that's really it. It was super simple, um, you'll see later on, that i showed you guys that you can braid it as well. If you would like to my braid sucked, because we all know, i don't know how to braid, i feel, like i told you guys before i don't know how to braid but um there. If, if you have someone to like get behind you and braid it or if you just like, you know how to braid hair yourself, then you can get it to work. But mine looked a little bumpy lumpy, but it was still super cute. It was a look so i was like oh, i might have to do like a long braid one day, so super simple super easy. I definitely recommend these things. These little clipping ponytails, because they're like really useful to have, if you like, are having a hair day where you just don't know what to do, throw this ponytail on and go like it's a look. It'S so cute. I love the slick. Look. I would like to get one that matches my hair texture a little bit better, so that it looks like a super duper real, but until then this is gon na have to work, because i do plan on wearing this. I do plan on wearing it, so i'm gon na have everything linked down below for you guys. This ponytail is from sombra hair.
