Paula Young'S Braided Waterfall | Monofilament Braided Style

Have you been curious about some of Paulie Young's braided styles? Well, I was too so I did get a bunch of the braided styles and you're going to be seeing them in reviews coming up some of them. I'Ve left rated, some of them. I haven't today we're talking about braided water. As you can see, I did take her out of the braids. So if you want to learn all about my experiences, what happened why I took it out of the braid, how I feel about it now, then, let's just get to it hi my name is Tia and I am a wig coach and an educator here on YouTube. If you're new here welcome, I do mostly synthetic wig related content. Here I do reviews I do different types of wig related Pro demonstrations. I do education. I do a whole bunch of stuff here in today's video I'm reviewing A Wig by Paula Young. It was a braided style. I did end up taking the braids out I'll, explain everything after we talk about the Deeds of the wig, then also I have a little clip of me putting her on. I explained how I got this particular look and then I'll come back and wrap up my final thoughts. But today we are talking about braided waterfall and I have her in the collar 82488s4 and I'm pretty sure that that is the caramel kiss color. But I will check that really quickly here. So this is the color caramel kiss she does come in an average cap size uh, her Deets are that she is a gorgeous long wing with braided accents. I will put a picture up on how she looked when I first got her. I did an unboxing where I unboxed her and tried her on so, and I also did a check-in for when I did the review for the headline at wig liners. So I will pop all that in on the side, so you can kind of see what she looked like prior to me, taking the braids out. But she is a lace front. She does have a monofilament part and she comes in six different, specialty, colors and they're gorgeous her retail price. Right now is 89.99. You can get great sales with uh poly young. So this is what she looks like. Let me uh jump to the clips of me. Putting her on and kind of explaining how I got her the way that I got her then I'll, come back and tell you on my experience and my thoughts and all of that: okay, okay, okay! So we're gon na go ahead and put on this wig. I am wearing the hair grip, and this is you're gon na see all four of you on this okay. So, as you can see, she does have the monofilament right here, the hand tied lace front and she does have the wefted cap and the velcro adjustable straps extended sort of velvety, nape and velvety ear tab, the Comfort ear tabs that are bendable. You can see the gorgeous it does. She has a gorgeous hairline. I think it's better, even um, now that I've taken the braids out foreign, so this was probably my third, my third time wearing her um. I did wear her twice with the partial braids, so this is my fourth time putting her on, because I wore twice the partial braids and then once without and now again without, I think without the braids. We'Re gon na need to do a little bit of work here because I feel like I want to move this around a little bit. This is where the the space is for this monofilament. Is that here's the two edges? So we have this full area here to work with. Let me get my rat tail comb and I usually like a little bit of a I mean I love a middle part, but in this scenario the way that it's I just want to try and break that up a little bit Yeah and then have more of A clear part, because that was more of like an invisible part which again totally fine um. I just want to maybe do a little uh put some powder in there and do more of a defined part. So let me get her together and then um. I will come back with my final thoughts, foreign Karina foreign. You saw that I did shift the part a little bit. I used some water. I this is just an uh Evian Angel spray, hydrating spray that I use it's just water to sort of shift apart. Just a little bit, I did use my tools that you can buy from my wig blending kit to put powder in the part and blend along in the hairline. As you can see, you can purchase the wig blending kit from my store, TM wigs. I will put it up here in the eye for you, so hi kitten. This is my fourth time wearing this wig. I have some. I have some pros and I have some cons overall. First of all, the color is a complete Pro. If you can get any of the braided styles in this color I'd say: go ahead and do it. I was not a fan of this wig in the braid. Now some of the other braided styles from Paula Young, I'm actually more of a fan with them. In the braid, so I am someone who I do really love a pre-braided style, okay, but in this particular style I just um, I kind of thought the braids they they weren't super tight. I I felt insecure about them. I also felt that the density, the density is a very realistic nice density, but it is it's a lower density wig, and so I thought with taking this all the way to put in the braid made the wig look a little too thin for my taste. I think taking it out, so this is all the hair to the front I think taking it out of the braid is still lower density, still realistic, but it just it kind of It kind of needs this. In order to not look sort of sparse, you know, low density is one thing: sparse is a total another thing, she's pretty long, I'm five foot six and a half she's going below or two pretty much this area, so that, in my estimation, puts her around the Sort of 22 inch Mark. Let'S look at her from the back she's very comfortable when she was in the braid I actually considered getting rid of her. I think I will actually hold on to her. I do like her enough for that, but this is one of those wigs that I definitely feel yeah like you can even see here with with the braids being in it would have just been too thin in my taste like the colors everything the color is everything Overall um, I really like this style. This is going to be one of the ones and actually one of the few braided styles that you're going to see me review that I prefer out of the braid, and so because of that it's it falls lower on the likability scale for the pre-braided wigs, because For me, the point is is that they are pre-rated how the wig looks and the quality and everything if you want something, that's sort of long and flowy and is a realistic density. I think this is great. It'S got the monofilament, it has all the bells and whistles all the features and finishes that you're going to want if you're really attracted to it, though, because of the braids I'd say, choose one of the other braided styles. Low braided pony is one of my favorites um. I have two more that I need to review, but I definitely think that for the Wii construction, it's a pro for the week - pre-braided styling option it's not the best. So that's what I would have to say about this one. She does want to catch a little bit at the ends. This is a long style like that's, not unusual, and I did wear her up in a ponytail, so she's catching a little bit she's comfortable. I was able to wear her all day and so yeah other than that. The color, like I said, is stunning. I must tell you, though, a little birdie told me that they're gon na discontinue these braided styles. They are stunning wigs, whether you want them in the braids or not. The quality of the wigs is crazy. I got this one on a sale and I got it for 53.99 if you can get these on sale, even if not 89.99, for this is not it's not outrageous, especially for a monofilament hand tied. But if you really love these, I would say scoop them up sooner rather than later, because they are going to be discontinued. So that is what I have for you for the braided waterfall.
