Sleek Ponytail On Short Hair Ft Deep Wave Hair By Ula Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel i'm back with another video and on today's video i am going to be doing my hair. So this is how my hair looks. I washed it last night and i didn't comb it or anything like that. I just let it air dry and just forget about it. So this is how it's looking and if you're new to my channel, my hair has been relaxed, but i use the um blood relaxers, it's more like texturizing um yeah. So it's not in its natural natural state and i'm also transforming from having like a pixie cut. That'S why the bag seems a little bit shorter compared to the top. This is how my hair looks: i'm just combing it up with a picker. So today i'm going to be doing a sleek ponytail and whenever i use like some sort of gel on my hair, i always use oil first. So i have my oil here and this is infused with shaving powder. I think this is the kaka oil, so this is what i'm going to be using, and this just helps um my hair stay moisturized under the under the gel doesn't get like super tight under there. So i'm just going to apply this all over my hair and whenever i do this kind of hairstyles with my hair short, i always do like an anchor braid so that i can have something for the hair to grip on. So i'm going to use some braiding hair. I just have like a little piece of braiding hair here and i'm going to make a braid right in the middle where my um ponytail is going to be so i'm just going to section some hair here. So i'm just going to go ahead and make like a braid here, hmm and next i am going to flick my hair. So you can do this with your hair wet or your hair dry. I like doing it like either way, but today i'm gon na. Do it with my hair dry, because i do have to be somewhere in like a couple hours, so i don't have a lot of time to wait for my hair to get dry and the gel that i'm going to be using today is the perfect tight scalping Gel i've used this gel, for i think my most viewed videos, the ones with like millions and millions of views. I use this gel and people always ask me like what gel are you using? Where did you get it, and this is the perfect touch scalping gel? Unfortunately, this is a south african brand, i'm not sure if it's available, even in some of the southern countries like botswana and mozambique and whatever, but it's a south african brand and you can find it from clicks. I, like the purple one, the purple one is the ultra hold one, so i'm going i'm just gon na go ahead and start applying it on my hair. So, starting from the front here and now, i'm done applying the gel all over my hair, i'm taking my comb. This is then all comb that i have. I like the fact that it goes like deep in so i'm going to start combing this towards the ponytail, and i am also taking my hard breast brush and i'm going to sleek everything. Hmm and now that i have everything like slicked up. I am taking like a little hair tie, looks like this and i'm going to tie everything together up here and before i wrap my hair. I'M going to take my little edge brush and take a little bit of more gel here and just like um to my edges here so to wrap my hair, i'm going to be using my rabbit strips, and these ones are the large ones in black. So i'm taking the first one and i'm going to put it right here and i'm also taking a durag, i'm going to tie this on top because i'm going to be using like a blow dryer to dry, my hair. So i don't want it to like fly away and mess up with the sleekness, so just tying this on top, so i am back now with my hair all dry. This is how it's looking - and, i did add, an extra piece of hair piece here, just to make it a little bit bigger and yeah. So this is how it's looking all dry and looking sleek and the hair that i'm using today is by ula hair. They sent me, i think, two bundles of 18 inches which came in this beautiful silk bag, which i am going to keep forever like it's so nice, it's so cute like it's easy to just throw your hair in there like clippings or even a wig. You can throw a weekend day just when you're traveling and the inside there's um some hair. I have 18 inches um. I think this is just kelly here, so one band over there and another bundle of 18 inch as well. This kind of looks like two different lengths out i'll look at that after and there's also like a red tail comb, and it also says here it's nice to always have this. I love retail cones. I don't know how many have and you get like, um two stocking caps, please like their social media and all the contact details and there's also like instruction manual, and this is on like how to wash the hair how to clean and style it now onto the Head they did say they will send me two bundles of 18 inches, but this to me looks like maybe like 18 and a 20 or 16 and 18. I don't know - or maybe it's just how it was packaged, but the hair is super soft. It doesn't have like a terrible smell has like that hair smell like if you go to like a hair shop. I love the kale pattern. It'S super soft. I'M going to use the shorter one today. So to start my uh ponytail, i'm going to grab a little piece here like so and then wrap it around my little bun first and then i am going to start wrapping the hair around now and then, after, like five um ribs, i am taking a bobby Pin which looks like this and i'm going to secure the hair so now the weft is secured, i'm going to continue wrapping and then i'm also taking another bobby, pin and secure this side and then continue wrapping and i'm taking another bobby pin and this one i'm Gon na put it in the back here and then once i get to the end of the bundle i'm going to do what i did in the beginning, which is taking a little piece right at the end here and then continue to wrap with it. So that everything can be like secured and it doesn't unravel and and then taking another bobby pin, i'm going to secure the little piece here like it doesn't tangle like this is such good quality hair like it doesn't tangle at all, so i'm taking um like few Curls from the back here so when doing this make sure you're not pulling too much, because if you pull too much and like one piece of the work to get like under from your band, you're gon na end up redoing the whole thing from scratch. So i'm going to use this piece of hair to wrap around i'm going to start from the back, i'm taking another bobby. Pin i'm going to secure that, and so this is how the head looks. This hair is like super lightweight like it's not heavy at all, especially on my short hair. I don't feel like something is pulling me. It'S so light, and this is the other side, so i am in love with this hair. So this is the final look like.
