Shayla And Maya Synthetic Clip In Ponytail | Insert Name Here Review

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today i'm looking a little crazy. My hair is a mess, i'm missing lashes. My nails are falling off, but i have a hair review for you guys. So a company called insert name here, sent me two synthetic clip ponytails. So this is a packaging that they sent it to me in. You see it's recyclable. We love that. So this one, the one in the pink bag, is called shayla and it's a super long wavy textured ponytail. So while i'm giving you basically a texture shots of the ponytails and um, you know showing you that they're really easy to brush through. I just thought i'd read to you off some of the themes that they have listed about these ponytails on their website. So the website says for both of them: they're full wrap application, they're 26 inches or 66 centimeters. They weigh 125 grams they're made of vegan synthetic fiber from japan, they're heat, safe up to 320 degrees, fahrenheit um, and it says oh okay, so the one for shayla. They say it's a loose spiral rave, but i don't think it's really wavy or like a spiral wave. It'S just kind of like like wet and wavy hair from the beauty supply store yeah. So the first application i'm going to be doing is the one for shayla. Oh, and another thing i wanted to mention was the hair color, so i got both of these ponytails in jet black, but um. This company, insert name here, is very famous for having so many color options and being able to color match you. So if you are a customer or just want to know your hair color, if you dm or email them a picture, they will help you color match perfectly, because that's what i did um, i sent them a link of one of my youtube videos and they color Matched me like they watched my video and sent me back uh jet black. In like two seconds i mean my hair is like jet black. So it's not that hard. But again, if you need help with color matching dm them a picture of your hair and they will shoot you back your answer right here, i'm just showing you guys the ponytails compared to my hair um. So you guys can see how well the jet black color matches my hair and if your hair is similar to mine, how that color would match up with yours. So right now, i'm just basically showing you guys my before and my starting point to applying the ponytails. So my natural hair can be kind of difficult to maneuver, especially when i want to put it in a ponytail or a high butt or honestly. Anything that you know requires me slicking back my hair, so the first thing i'm going to do is dampen up my hair i'll show you guys in a second, so i'm just taking this half empty leave-in conditioner from heritage. That'S filled up with water, the rest of the way and i'm spraying all of my hair um. The next thing i use is a ton of hair gel. So this is my favorite um hair gel um, it's extreme styler. It has like a really really strong hold, but you can use any gel. You want um and honestly, like if you're, depending on the texture of ponytail, that you have you don't even have to use any gel, but my hair is really really like kinky curly and it doesn't match any of the um ponytails. So i just decided to do like a complete slick back um bun as much as i could so right here, i'm just using a hard bristle brush to smooth down my flyaways and my unruly curls that don't like to listen um. Please do not look at my double chin. I she was like today, my apologies but yeah, so that's basically the gist of it. So you can just see me struggle to put my hair in a ponytail for the next few seconds. I'M just going in with a hard brush brush again a hard bristle brush, okay, um the brush again to smooth down any bumps or flyways, and i'm going to be using this edge edge control, gosh edge control by she's bomb. This is my absolute most favorite edge control. It'S the only one that doesn't flake on me that actually stays for a really really like long time like days, even um, but yeah, so i'm just using that with um this regular. Oh, i don't even remember i used that. Okay thinking back you guys, please do not use that kara um care care wax stick because it just made my hair turn white. Please do not use that um. You may not be able to see it in the video, but while i was recording, i was so mad that i used that wax stick because it was just like a fail. Um yeah, please do not use that but yeah. So i'm just using this edge control brush my board bristle brush or not board brush. So why do i keep saying board bristle my hard bristle brush to brush my hair? So honestly, if you guys even needed just like a puff tutorial, this is how i do my puffs. Normally, my hair is like freshly washed conditioned and everything. So it looks a lot better, but you know i've had my hair in a bun for like the past three days. So that's why it looks kind of crazy but right here, i'm just putting it in a bun as small as possible. I suggest um using a hair tie like a skinny little hair tie, not this gigantic fat, scrunchie um a velvet one at that. Please do not use that because it's going to be really lumpy, um and right here, i'm just going in with a bandana, because i didn't have my edge scarf, but this will just help your edge control and your edges stay laid and now into the application. The actual application process of the ponytail again, this is the uh shayla ponytail in jet black and they do bring um. I don't know if i showed you in the beginning, but they do bring two or three bobby pins each um, so that was cool because i didn't have any i didn't have any bobby pins on my house, so putting it on is actually pretty easy. You just put the clip inside of your um, your bun or like at the root of your bun, and then wrap the little stringy piece of hair around to cover it. You know, and that's probably going to be the best way, that i can explain it, because i am terrible at explaining things. So one thing i do want to say is that the application i keep saying application is such a long grid, but putting the ponytail on is actually quite easy. I think the hardest part about putting the ponytail on is the prep part. I suggest making sure that you have a really good base, bun, um or even braid - to put your ponytail on, because if not it's going to be really difficult to put the ponytails on for me personally, my hair was really really thick, so it was hard to Put the ponytails on and not have them, you know, show and stuff or my bunch of shell, so i suggest making sure your hair is like as flat as possible and your bun ponytail or braid under the clip-in ponytail is as flat and skinny as possible. Another thing i wanted to talk about was how much i actually like this ponytail, so the i hate um literally. I cannot even count how many times i said ponytail in this video excuse me, but i did want to say that this ponytail compared to the other one. I think it was maya like the straight one. I actually prefer the wavy one a lot more. Just because, like that's my personal preference like i prefer um like wavy, wavy, curly, hair, more than straight hair, but um. I just think the wavy, the wavy hair is so cute, like i love it so much um. I don't know just look at me like you'll, see it like towards the end of this part. Like i, oh, i dropped the camera, my bad, but um. I really really love the way that i look in this ponytail specifically, i think the other one is cute too, like there's nothing bad about it. I just prefer the wavy one. Like tell me, tell me: that's not it look. Tell me that's not a look. I love it um, especially with the hoops get out of my face, but yeah. So i just, i think i think, like i've, never tried a clipping ponytail this long before, like i said it was 26 inches, so i just felt i just felt kind of cute, not even gon na lie. I just felt kind of cute um. I had to bobby pin that little straggly piece back, but no worries, and another thing i wanted to talk about was just like the customer service and and quality and stuff, so it actually came really really fast. It came in less than four days um the customer service for me personally, the people were really really sweet when they were dming me talking to me and stuff, so i really enjoyed that and the ponytails themselves. I feel they are a little bit on the expensive side for synthetic ponytails um. You guys know i shop at um. The beauty supply store a lot, and i get my synthetic ponytails for no more than 15 20 max. So the price for these um on their website. They go for fifty four dollars. Um the maya is fifty four dollars and then the share list, fifty four dollars um but yeah. So i do think they're a little overpriced, not gon na lie, but the quality is there. The quality is there. I had honestly no complaints besides um, i do wish the surface area of the part that you clip in your hair is bigger like if that surface area was wider, um like if they gave you more area to wrap around your actual hair. I feel like this product would have been like an 11 out of 10., but other than that, i don't think, there's anything bad about him. To be honest, like i love the synthetic fibers, they said it was like japanese synthetic fibers, i think, are actually really really good like. I would love a full synthetic wig made out of this um these fibers, because they're super soft flowy and they're really really easy to breast. That was my favorite thing about the straight ponytail. Was it didn't tangle? It didn't get matted and um. I was able to brush through it really easily so right now, i'm showing you guys the application and final result of the maya ponytail which, like i said, i prefer the other one, but i still love this one. So my overall opinion is that these are really good quality. I had a great customer service experience and i definitely recommend these ponytails.
