Hey everybody, my name is emily and welcome back to my channel, so today i'm so excited to be sitting here and filming. I know it's been a while and i may make a separate video kind of going into more detail about why i've been absent. It'S quite deep and i'm like really shy about that type of stuff, but um. I do want to connect with you guys and i do want you to know that anytime. I can make a video. I will. I genuinely love youtube and i love sharing what i'm finding and, like my tips and tricks anyways, i am so excited because i found the product that really motivated me enough to sit here and make a video again um. This is a brand called pretty party. These are the extensions i'm going to be reviewing today. They basically it's like a ponytail type of extension. I'Ve been seeing this in my sponsored posts on instagram for months, like i saved it right away, it's right up my alley, so i was absolutely shocked when the company contacted me and asked if i wanted to make a tutorial. I was like absolutely like. I want to try this out, obviously be super honest, i'm not being paid to say anything. So i'm going to give you guys a genuine review about what i feel about these extensions and i'm going to be styling them. So if you guys are interested in seeing how that looks, then just keep on watching all right. So before i get to styling it i want to just let you guys know really quickly the particular extensions that i picked up um. So i got the ruby hair extensions um. They it comes with literally a built-in wire. That goes all the way down to here. I'M going to show you guys, obviously, as i'm trying it on why that wire is super. Important, very, very cool method never worked with anything like that before. That'S what really drew me to these. These are 30 inches long and they are in the color dark ash blonde. They are not real hair, but they look and feel super real and you could apply heat to up to 300 degrees fahrenheit, which is really good because, as you guys can see, i like to have a wave in my hair for today's style. I won't really need to make them look exactly like this texture, but in general it's good to know that i could apply heat to these. There is more details about like hair care and how to wash it, etc, um and it does come with a silk bag to store them and an elastic and some bobby pins. So let's just get straight into the styling okay. So the first thing i'm gon na do is just brush my hair out, make sure there's no knots. I do want my hair to look super smooth when it's in a ponytail, so i would kind of recommend doing that first and then i would just go straight into doing it uh putting up your hair, so you can obviously put your hair up like high or Low, whatever you want, i, like my hair in a high ponytail, i'm actually also going to leave my bangs out, so i should probably do that now before i slick it all up, so i'm actually going to be using the elastic that comes with their um. Their extensions, i really like these types of elastics, i feel like they don't pull on your hair and they hold well um. I have pretty thick hair and i usually feel the need to put in two elastics, but i feel like this type of elastic should be fine. If i just use that one, we will see as we go now that it's where i want it to be. I am going to just attach the ponytail. It honestly feels pretty secure, so i think we're good so just to give you guys um a quick view of what my hair looks like before. Okay, so now that it's up, i'm gon na take the actual extensions um. So there's like this big wire, like i mentioned before, and this will allow you to kind of um secure it in i'll. Show you guys exactly what i mean. So what you do is you take the tip of the extension and hold this part tight, because then it gets like messy. If you don't so, i would hold it like that and put it to the base so like up here. You basically stick it through and you're gon na see it comes out the other end and you pull it. So you pull it as much as you want, because that's gon na allow you to wrap it around afterwards and that also allows you to like determine how short or long you want the actual ponytail to be so, the more you pull it the shorter, the actual Extension is going to be if that makes sense. Okay, so once i pull it through, i'm now going to put the extensions over my actual hair that part's kind of important, because you don't want your hair to show through keep in mind. I have super thick hair and it's not the same texture of the extensions right now. So it's going to be super apparent, but you guys are going to see what i'm gon na do so once it's over hold it and hold your hair and start wrapping. So you can wrap it as many times like. I only pulled it enough to wrap it around my hair once if i wanted it to look good off the bat, i would straighten my hair. I would do things very differently for the particular hairstyle that i'm doing that's the beauty of it. It doesn't have to be super straight or match the texture and that's what i really wanted to show you guys because, like anyone can achieve this so easily anyway, it's also really long, but i like it. I think it looks really nice. So what you're gon na do from here is take some transparent, elastics or honestly, any that you like, i personally like the transparent look. These are the ones i got and i'm going to take a elastic and i'm going to start doing that bubble. Ponytail! That'S what we want to do so this particular hairstyle. Why i chose to do this. One is because this was my go-to hairstyle on vacation. My hair was so humid and no matter what i did to it. It looked bad within minutes, and this was like the only hairstyle that made me look put together. It looked like i tried, but, like honestly took me two minutes, you can for sure still um do this with a regular ponytail um. You can absolutely do like a messy bun. You can do a lot of different styles with this, but i feel like i love this, because it's so easy looks so good and like i'm all about that, you know so. I was really excited to show you guys. This particular hairstyle, and i really hope you guys like it and that you're inspired to do it just grabbing some elastics and i don't know like every two to three inches. I am adding a new one in there. I really also like these extensions because i find like it does like a natural tapering. I think that looks really nice and natural, like usually hair, doesn't stay. Super super thick and super super healthy by the end. Like it just looks, i don't know it has like that natural effect um like a normal ponytail, would have now. I'M just bubbling this up a little bit. So this is how it looks. I am extremely excited about the turnout. I mean i i had a feeling. I would like it, but this really exceeded my expectations. I find it actually really comfortable. I used to wear ponytail extensions really often - and i don't know about you guys, but i did not find those very comfortable. I don't know, especially with the bobby pins, when you would have to like put them in to secure the hair. I don't know if i would like put in a weird angle or something, but i would get like actual migraines this, like you, don't need a bobby pin because of the wire. You literally wrap it around and you're good. If you want that extra security for sure it comes with bobby pins, you can absolutely use them, but i don't have any in right now and i feel, like my hair, is very secure and looks really good. I am absolutely blown away. You guys. I'M gon na see how these hold up with time, but i can tell you off the bat that the hair feels amazing, they're comfortable. It works well and i'm going to absolutely get a lot of use out of this. Please, let me know down below your thoughts. Leave me any questions or comments. I would absolutely love to connect with you guys in that way, and i will see you all, hopefully very, very soon, bye everyone, you
