Ponytail hairstyles is one of my favorite hairstyles to do you know you can keep this hairstyle in for weeks. Let'S say if I say weeks, the maximum. You can keep a ponytail hairstyle as a protective hairstyle. It'S like, let's say three weeks that one is likely, but most people can keep it for a month. All depends on the kind of ponytail hairstyle. You do look at this one. It has braids with a rubber band so that one you can keep it for a month, maybe but those that are slicked down. Maybe you can still keep it for a month. It all depends on the individual and the kind of the world you are in Ghana. Here you know the most part of Ghana. Some part of Ghana, sorry are very dusty. So if let's say you pass on those kind of routes to work and through all the time, you'll be catching one or two dust all the time when you pass okay, so with that, you might not be able to keep your ponytail hairstyle in for a month. Let me talk about low porosity hair, it's about it's when your hair takes a very long time to get wet and yeah. I have that kind of hair and it's relaxed and trust me most times when I'm doing my ponytail hairstyles by myself. I find it very hard to Slick it down, and most people who have natural hair rather find it so easy. They make it so easy to Slit down like what I am relaxed man, even if I get a fresh relaxed, relaxer sleeping down. My hair for ponytail is one of the toughest enough I haven't accomplished before, and I I hope I will be able to do so one day look at how it's so beautiful, especially with the braids in the middle. This one can go over a month. It depends on the individual and the kind of work you do so I have low porosity hair. If you want to check for the porosity of your hair, you can get a cup of water. Let'S say you can put the water in a disposable cup, because you want a cup that is transparent so that you can see what goes on Under the Water by looking at the sides of the cup. So you can get a transparent, disposable cup. Pour Some Water halfway in then take a piece of your hair, or maybe the ones after combing, the one that fall out put it just one strand put it in the water. If, then, you look at you start, you keep a stopwatch. Okay, it's it's study says that high porosity hair sinks faster than low porosity here. So if your hair is, you have low porosity hair, your hair will be on top of the water for a very long time. Comparing to someone has high porosity, hair, okay, I hope - and it's understandable I hope, I'm making sense. Okay, so I have low purse still relaxing and my hair is very coarse and thick. You can go through my other videos and see my hair and how I made it thick. I sometimes use avocado hair treatment. I sometimes do rice water treatment. I and, as you can, as you know from my other videos, I do my relaxer all by myself guys. I would advise that you do most of these things, especially relaxer. I know it's one of the things that you don't joke with, because it's chemical but trust me if you start doing it, if you do it for the first time, even if it's not successful or even if you have some of your parts of your hair, not Really well relaxed you're going to be able to do it. The next time when I started I was it was happening to me most of the time. I know one funny thing when I go to the salon to get my relaxer done, the salon, the hairstylist. I go to does the same thing like most of the part of my hair get under processed and I'm like. If I'm doing this and mine is even better than yours and I'm paying you to do this for me, then why don't I do it myself? If it's under processed or not so I stopped going to the salon and trust me, I worked on it every relaxer after every relaxer day after every life, so that I kept on improving. So now I have been able to come up with a strategy where I am able to apply the relaxer to every part of my hair evenly and they all relax at the same time. So I never have any part of my hair and that process. Okay. Relaxer to my hair and it's so easy for any beginner or anybody at all who is even going to start applying relaxer to themselves for the first time, learn to do this kind of things by yourself, because one way or the other, some of us do travel. We will travel, especially those of us that will be traveling from Ghana to abroad. I heard that doing your hair in abroad is very expensive, getting a relaxer and then um braiding, your hair. I had a friend who moved to America some years ago. She was relaxed here when her hair was relaxed when she was in Ghana, but when she went the amounts they mentioned to her over there to get a relaxer than she cut a hair transition. She transitioned her hair, cut it and then went back to natural and she started braiding her hair by itself because come on, but if you are able to learn how to do it from now, when you get there, it will be so easy for you. But if you start from there, when you you get frustrated, but then you start picking up before so I'd advise I'm always. I always try to stress on this that try to do your hair by yourself. If you feel the first time you're going to learn one or two things not to do the second time that will make you feel again, so if you keep doing it at the same practice, make Mom perfect.
