Great so hi guys it's precious bria. Today we're going to be recreating the megan, the stallion long ponytail that she had on the cover of times it was so super cute. I needed a quick natural protective hairstyle, so i was like. Let me do a little cute. Ponytail, like megan, so this is so long and it's so freaking cute and i just really love it, so so much um. It'S definitely. I think it's going to be a go-to for me, i'm trying to stray away from wigs because girl, those wigs and not gluing, that that lace down and it breaks out my forehead and it's just too much so basically, i started off by washing my hair and I let it air dry and i just put some oil on it. My hair was like super super dry prior to me, washing it and just leaving the oil on it so um. I really let that oil sit in. So it's not blow dried, even though it might look like it's blow dry, it's not blow dry. It'S just that. I put some oil in it. I detangled it and i had it in little twisties or whatever so yeah, so the gel that i'm going to be using is just the regular eco styler gel. I use this gel in another video to slip down my hair. I do have 4c hair. My hair is very thick. My hair is very much so coarse, but i don't know the eco styler it works for me now, even though it does it gets it. Sleek, like i said, i still have very 4c thick coily hair, so it does get a little bit wavy, but it does slick it down the trick is you cannot wet it? This is what i do. I don't wet it i just on, like basically dry hair. I just put the eco styler gel on and i put a lot on like you have to have a nice good sized little jar of it because i'm using a decent amount of gel um, and i just slap some of that gel on there and i brush It down and i mold it and i feel like it, comes out pretty well honestly and then, when i get to the top of my hair, you're gon na see that i'm going in with the got to be glue gel now. The reason why i went in with the got to be blue gel is because i didn't have any of the gorilla snot, but that also works. For me, this is what's going to really really make sure that the top is as sleek as possible. So for the rest of my hair, the eco styler gel is fine, but for the top of my hair i definitely like to go in with either the got to be glue, or preferably the gorilla snot glue and make sure that your brush is very very hard And you have to make sure that you section your hair off into small pieces. You cannot just try and gel down everything at one time, because your hair, well, my hair, is too thick for that and if you have hair, that's like a similar texture to mine, then it's just not going to work. That way. You really have to like. Take your time part your hair apply that gel brush it mold it hold. It apply some more gel make sure that it's as flat as you like it brush it some more like it's going to take some time but you're going to get there honestly, it doesn't take too long, but the key to it is just using a lot of Gel and not wetting your hair, like you, cannot do this on wet hair. It can be like damp but basically dry, but it cannot be on wet hair. That'S what i find works best for me now when doing the edges. This is when you need to use the got to be glue gel. This is the only thing that really keeps my edges in place, and if you really really really want those edges to stay in place, you have to go in with the freeze spray. Now it seems like a lot, but i'm telling you this is what's really going to keep this had my edges. Staying still in the summer on the hottest days, okay um, it did not curl up nothing like that, like we know that this product is harsh, but in this case we we know that this product really really holds the hair, and that's what you need. If you have some thick coily um edges that don't stay in place, because my edges will curl up real real quick, so to do this ponytail i went in with the wrap around ponytail. Now this ponytail is already 30 inches, but it was not giving me the length that megan was giving me, so i did end up adding in some braiding hair. Now i could not show you guys how i did it, because, honestly this was my first time using braiding hair like adding it into like adding it on like. I could never get it. I finally got it so yay for me um, but it was super easy. Honestly, i was watching a video on instagram and um. You guys should definitely like try and figure that out. I'M sorry, i could not show you guys, because i struggled myself, but i finally finally got it and basically i just braided it all the way down to the end and i added a little rubber band at the end um. Just because i had cut it. Don'T cut it, i think it'll be cute if you just braid it down to the very end and it'll come out really cute so yeah. This is the finished. Look. I hope that you guys enjoyed this video, don't forget to like comment, subscribe and share and i hope to see you guys in another video
