Styling My Microlocs For A Bridal Show | Up-Do/ Bridal Hairstyles.

Foreign, I just finally did my makeup. I don't have that much time my boyfriend's going to go, get me some breakfast, so yeah, let's get into it and take my Bonnet off so last night I curled a few pieces of my hair because I think I want to have like some curly pieces, but I don't know what I want to do specifically, and this is kind of how it goes when I'm doing my hair. Like I don't know what I'm doing, I just started doing stuff, but I think I really want to do like a low balloon and then like wrap some hair around the bun. So I'll show you what I mean so I'm going to take the top half of my hair. Get that out. It doesn't have to be perfect, but yeah. I'M Gon na Leave the top half out. Do y'all see all this gray, hair bro, I'm only 26 tonight. I always go right or coming while I deal with the back okay, so I'm going to turn around so you guys can see. I just gather all my hair make sure every strand is pretty much straight and ready to be put in a ponytail. So I just grabbed my hair and I wrap the ponytail holder around my hair one time and then I'm going to wrap it around again and don't pull it through. So I can create a bun, but I um. I want to make sure it's tight, that my locks stay in place and everything so yeah. That'S pretty much it you're. Just gon na put your hair in a bun for the first step and y'all. I got a lot of hair, so I got ta make sure all my pieces are tucked and stuff, but this is the first step. Okay. So if you have a lot of hair like me, I'm just taking some bobby pins and tucking the the locks that didn't get into the um ponytail. I tucked a few of them within the bun, but some of them are still sticking out. So I'm taking some bobby pins and I'm just pinning those down making them secure and you know making sure that they don't pop out later so I'm just Gathering them and tucking everything in like so and I use medium bobby pins because I have thick hair. So you need the the medium ones or the large ones, because those little ones are not going to work for locks in general. Okay. So I'm just going to take a mirror just to make sure that I don't have anything just sticking out randomly. I see a little piece there, but I'll get that fixed and put another bobby, pin there. Okay, so now we're gon na work with the front of the hair and, like I said I don't know, look at him. Look at him really, I'm trying to see all the tick tock is what's happening. Y'All with my baby, man import the pain you wan na put that cash out modification in the bottom right corner, Those whom I donate donate to Sierra to be fun, yeah. Okay. So I'm taking some of the curls out of that section and I'm putting it putting it within the twist, because I don't need that much hair out, probably gon na put one more piece. I'M gon na take one more piece out of there, but I didn't want all of those pieces out, so I'm just gon na put that within the twist and I'm just twisting my hair until you get to the end, like I said, I'm just kind of going With the flow right now, it's going to take that piece and wrap it. I think you see I'm just trying to figure it out, but I'm definitely going to wrap it at the top of my bun and I'm going to pin it down. So I'm gon na turn around and kind of show y'all what it looks like um before I pin it and that's where I'm gon na place the pins, where my hand is, and then that's that's how it'll look foreign okay going on to the second part of This section this front section - I did split that in two, so it won't be so much hair that I'm putting in a twist but um. I split that into this back piece is the piece that I'm going to do a twist with, and then I think I'm gon na do like a front bang with this piece up here, but we're gon na leave that to the side. I believe and then work with the the back piece I'm just twisting it up. Just like I did the other side, but I'm gon na also unravel this curl first. So to make sure that I don't want all those pieces out, maybe - and I'm going to put those within that that twist as well, but my curls came out really really cute. I wish I curled all of my hair, but I knew I didn't have enough time to do all that last night, so I just did a couple pieces and yeah. I kind of looked up this low bun style for weddings, and this is what I came up with. So I'm gon na do the same thing that I did to the other side and just pin over pin the hair over the bun and I'm just going to take my medium bobby pins and pin that down. And lastly, we're gon na work with this last piece of hair, I'm unraveling unraveling the curls again, and this time I I think I am going to use all of the curls in this little bundle here. So I'm deciding to do the swoop and then I'm going to take the end of my hair end of my locks twist them up and then I'm going to fold them just how I did the other twist and then I'm gon na pin it. So I'm just twisting it up, but I'm trying to make sure I still have that swoop. Look and then I'm gon na pin it to where my swoop is still visible. Also, as you can see, I'm going to pin the curls down in the front, so they won't be moving everywhere and it's attached to the swoop as well put one more pin like right there at the end, just to keep that side more flat. Just like that, all right well we're coming in into this video and I'm going to show you a final look of how it looks after I have completed it. There are a few pieces on the left side that I'm going to bobby, pin and fix that but yeah. This is the final look and I hope you guys enjoyed this video as much as I did and enjoy making it. I think this is an easy style for brides or people who just love to do different things with their locks, and it only took me about 15 minutes and some bobby pins and a little mousse and some curlers, but that's it so yeah.
