I'M always being told that synthetic wigs are too shiny. So here's how I reduce the shine, you can use dry, shampoo or you can use a powder like cornstarch or baby powder. First, I'm going to do the dry shampoo. The key to dry shampoo is that you can get one that works on synthetic wigs made by A Wig Company or you can get one from the drugstore or the grocery store. You just need to use it in a small patch and make sure it doesn't leave a white cast on your wig. So now we're going to do the powder. So I use a makeup brush in a small container at first you're, going to put on kind of a lot of powder, and it's going to look really funny, but you're gon na work it through you're going to dull that shine. It might make the color look slightly lighter because you are dulling the shine. Remember so you're just going to keep painting it on getting it in there working it in shaking it out a little bit and it really improves the shine on a synthetic wig hope.
