Bubble Ponytails For Only $12! | Protective Styling | Natural Hair

You know: hey y'all, welcome back to my channel if she girls e back again with another YouTube video, so today's hairstyles gon na be real, simple, real cute. This hairstyle that I came across was seen on someone's Instagram page. Her name is lovey DeRosa. I will leave her its the ground and her youtube channel down below it's, not a new hairstyle, like people have been doing this hairstyle, but hers specifically, it was so freakin cute and I was like I really want Mike looking exactly like hers and I'm so glad That she posted a video, because you know I had to go. Look in see how I do it just to make sure that I do it right for this video, but you guys can go check out her videos and her Instagram page. If you would like, I will leave that down below in my description box, but today I just want to put my own little spin on it. I'M actually changing the color of hair so for her bubble ponytail she did them blonde, because that's the color of her hair, which makes sense like what would you do black if your hair's blonde, but because I'm gon na be doing today is 1b, because my hair Is obviously not blonde, it's not black, but it is like a blue-black right now and from a distance you ain't gon na, be able to tell that is blue. So I'm just gon na be using some one be here today and the kind of hair I'm gon na be using today. Is this equal Cuban twist braid in 16 inches? It looks like this. You can get this, I believe from your local beauty. Supply store. Don'T quote me on it, my beauty supply store shout out to them. Cuz they really be having everything in their leg. If you need it, they got it. So I was going to be doing is just showing you guys how to do these cute little easy, simple bubble, ponytails, and I just want you to. Let me know if you guys like this look in the end, so now we're just gon na get to the video close, all my nothing else to say all right guys. So, as you can see, I'm feeling myself, I went ahead and do one off camera just to see. You know how I do it and make sure that I'm doing it right before I just come over here: bleh, okay, so we're gon na start. By doing this - and I don't even know what I'm doing so, this was done on a first try if y'all like this video so far already go ahead and give me a thumbs up because it's hoppin tin, like it's not even done yet, and I'm already filming So obviously, before I started this video, my head was wrapped up. I just went ahead and did this before I started because it actually was like a little bit tedious to do. My hair is still bleeding from the hair dye and it just makes my hands and fingers and stuff get all dirty so kind of glad. I didn't film on that so yeah, my hair is all slicked down. If you want to see it, but I'm just gon na get into this side now. So you guys can see how I'm about to be slaying with this hair. It'S just so cute y'all, alright! So just in case you missed it. I don't know how, but you might have fast-forward it. For some reason, this is the shake-and-go Cuban twist hair. It reads that it is Cuban twist double strand: style is 16 inches and it's the color 1b and it's 100 % premium soft Kanekalon, so yeah they run for $ 5.99. A peck y'all see this hairstyles so cute like. I really think it's worth it. So ya. Get started what you want to do after taking the hair out of the peck is gather all of the hair, but take two strands from it and set those aside. Cuz, you will use those later, then I just separate the bulk of hair into two equal parts. After that, you just want to overlap it so the ends are crossed. I use two packs of hair for this hairstyle, so you will do this for both pecs. So now what you want to do is take a hair bow and basically make it like how it was in the pack. If you don't know how to do that, you just take the hair bow. They just use your index finger middle finger and thumb pinch. The hair like such like cell, take the hair bow piece that is on your thumb, pull it over your index and middle finger and then pull the ponytail. I mean the hair bow from your index and middle finger out and that creates that little hair bow tie. But now all I'm going to do is just put the hair bow on my hair backwards come on come on Sharlee, and this is what we look like. So now you just want to make sure all of the short ends that are at the top are hidden away. You can do that as you're making the ponytails, or you can wait until after to just tuck them in it's up to you. I personally feel like it's best for me to just try to do it all in one, so I don't have to worry about sticking stuff through rubber bands and stuff. It'S just too much so now. For this part, I'm going to try to make it as symmetrical as possible, but for the bubbles, I'm actually taking two rubber bands and I'm going to just create a ponytail. So now we're just going to basically just keep creating these little bubbles down, B, hair and now from here is optional. You can like take it and just pull some of the hair to make it a little bit more bubbly, as you complete and as for the ends, I just separated the ends of the hair, with my finger and just wrapped it around itself and secured it with A rubber band, so it can be like a ball as well, and if there's any little end pieces hanging out, you can either tuck them or cut them off, I'm just going to tuck it in just in case. I need to redo it for anything and any other pieces. You see, sticking out, you can do the same thing, tuck them or cut them. I'Ma call you ponytail and now for the moment, you've all been waiting for just kidding, but the two strands that I did take out at the beginning of this video, I'm just going to wrap it around the base. So I'm just gon na start from underneath taking the two strands, I'm going to wrap the smaller ends around first and then take in the rest of the hair, just wrapping it and securing it, and now just taking a couple of bobby pins, I'm just going to Secure the ends with one, and that is how you do it. I really feel like I'm giving off like Barbie doll vibes right now. This is real cute, like I really feel so cute right now I smile and I'm just more happy that I'm finally doing a protective style because I've been doing my natural hair for so many days weeks months and I've just gotten tired of doing my hair. So it's really nice to see you know a different hairstyle with different hair on me, but that is how I did these bubble ponytails. Yes and I think what stood out most is because hers were blonde, so I'm just seeing all these black ponytails, you know looking up bubbly and stuff and just like yeah, it's cute, but I don't really know if I want to do it so then I stumbled Upon her photo - and I was like bruh - I have to do this now and I really think it came out so cute today, so I'm really happy with how they turned out make sure you are following me on Instagram.
