Hello, beautiful people, it is nice to see you here. I am Jane Elle Decor for those of you who do not know and for those of you who do know who I am well duh back, it's time to get into a new look. So today's video is gon na be based on how to turn your short to medium length, afro into a beautiful low ponytail. So this is something that I like really struggled with for a really long time in the past. I would try it out and girl. It would just come out looking cook easy like it just never would work, so I'm so glad that I finally got the hang of it. So I would like to share with you guys, so this look takes about like 25 to 30 minutes to do it really doesn't take much at all, it's very easy, so you can follow along. If you would like to, I will be using extensions for this tutorial. You'Re welcome to use any Marley hair, any type of like hair, a drawstring ponytail if you'd like to, but today's video, I'm gon na, be using my big chop, hair extension. Alright, so let's just hop into it, don't want to do it a knot to get this ponytail I made. Let me get rid of this head scarf that I got on okay. So for this look um you should have stretched hair, especially if you have short hair. It'S a lot easier if your hair is already stretched, so you can blow-dry hair or like just air dry, whatever works best for you, I decided to air dry. I just braided my hair in four sections, and I had it like this for about two days or whatever, but yeah just wait till it dries once I'm pulling it out and once I'm done pulling it out, I should have a nice stretched enough throw so if You have short to medium length, hair. The reason why I suggest you have the hair stretched is because, depending on how long your hair is, you can probably get the middle and the back and the pony in the low ponytail perfectly fine, but the front may not. Okay, so it's best to have at least the front stretched okay, so we can get all the way to the back alright, so I'm just going to check out these braids, so you can get started. Okay, my hair is nice and stretched for my look all right. So I'm gon na take my tail comb and I'm gon na make three sections, so I'm gon na have my back and I don't need to be perfect sections at all, because it is just going straight into a ponytail. Nothing perfect is necessary. This okay, so boom. There is my first section, the back now, I'm gon na make this second section here and the reason why I took most from the back, because I already know that hair is going to be a lot easier to get into the ponytail into the low ponytail. So that's easy! Okay got that out the way now this section can't be too thick because, depending on how long your hair is, it may be a little bit harder for you to get all of it to the back. So that's why I'm saying just try not to make the front row way too chunky cuz! You don't want the point. You want to ponytail to be on like flat flat. Okay like not no puffy like madness. Okay, I got my second section. I'M just gon na put this part into a clip as well as the front, because we are starting with the back, so I'm a four-seat girl and I think for most Naturals. It is a lot easier to comb your hair. What I'm gon na take my for my kinks continuous mist spray. I love this bang light. Definitely go get you one I'll! Leave you the link down below alright, so we're just getting it wet enough, and I'm just gon na treat my hair a little bit on. You know it needs some moisturizing, so I'm gon na take my as I am leave-in conditioner and I'm just going to put a little bit of oil too. So this is moisture miracles of strengthen and protect five essential oils with vitamin E. I love this thing. That'S castor, great see, arguing, coconut and olives. Okay, higher sounds good. Take a little bit of that because usually want to do this ponytail. I have it in for a couple of days, so I want to make sure that my hair is like very moisturized and happy during that time period. Okay need to be oiled and feeling good put a little a little bit now, I'm gon na go with my eco styler, so this is the olive oil one. I know a lot of people like cancelled eco styler, but not me. It'S like one of them things that, like works from work so well for me, like I, don't know what other gel to use like alright, so I'm gon na take a bit of that in the bottom and then aiways hang a brush, I'm gon na begin brushing It back you're gon na make sure our kitchen looks good, so I'm gon na comb that up ready to put this into a ponytail hey as possible. I'M just gon na do a little tug, make sure it's nice and tight. So I'm gon na move on to the next section, I'm gon na get it wet and it all nice and damp now you guys can just like you know, moisturize. You here add in your leaving conditioner oil and creams before you section your hair. So you don't have to do it like one by one by me, but I don't mind it because this really ensures that every strand got some love. You know what I'm saying, like I said it being in a ponytail for a couple of days like I want to make sure that it is completely nourished and moisturized, so it is better for me to do it this way, then you put in my eco styler Gel now make sure I get all the top and the back of the section as well as you want to make sure I get some gel at the the ends as well, because we're gon na be combing it back, and you want to make sure we get It as flat as possible right, let me grab a little bit more of this section here. Okay, that's better! Get this wet like the rest of the section moisturized as well. All right, I'm gon na put a little bit more gel, so I just got to do that now. We can begin brushing back again from brushing it straight back and I'm really brushing it deep in because you want it to be flat as possible. Okay, all right and I'm grabbing the last, the last ponytail just made making sure it's as flat as possible and then I'm gon na put it in a ponytail. So I'm making a ponytail over the ponytail. That makes sense. You know the gel is kind of like showing residue right now. I think it's because of the leaving conditioner I've, never mixed the pair. I hate when that happens, cuz like it's, not the products itself, but it's like it's getting dried up on the brush. I see all of that. It'S like the gel in the leave-in conditioner is getting dried up on the brush and like I'm, going to go ahead and wash the brush off so that I don't get that ugly residue on the very first layer so on to the next section. Now this time, I'm like moisturizing it here before I wet it, but it really doesn't matter like what. What are you doing at all? I'M just gon na brush it out a little bit first and I my gel and then we could, I get it all over. It for roots to ends and just begin combing it back following the blueprint. Okay. So now we were doing our last ponytail, I'm just smoothing it back a little bit just making sure I got every single piece, it's looking nice and flat and then on the last. Thanks, I'm gon na take my eco styler, I'm gon na do my edges with this. I really hope you guys are doing okay during all of this. What all this stuff started happening, though, like it, did really make me sad all the plans that had to be canceled and all the important things I wanted to do that just you know we're just not happen anyway, and that just weren't happening anymore and then be Really sad, of course, all the people who are like you know we're being affected and and people are losing loved ones like left and right, and it's just really sad like what's happening in the world. I just wish we had someone better in charge right now. This is really disappointing, but I hope that you guys are doing alright. I hope that you're staying inside staying safe and if you do go out, you know just make sure you're washing your hands, actually antibacterial wipes or whatever Lysol disinfectant mini sprays, like whatever you guys got your hands on cuz. I know it's like so hard just to find cleaning like the right cleaning supplies right now. I just used up the last of my life stall and I can't even get anymore so I'm just like. Oh my gosh, it's crazy! It'S really just crazy. What we're going through right now! I can't even like wrap my head around it like it's just nutty, but I hope that we get out of this very soon. I hope I really hope this isn't a long-term thing, but the way that our government is set up and who's in charge. I wouldn't be surprised if it is alright y'all. I know I don't have that many. I don't have that much baby here about mostly mature hair okay, but that don't mean I can't you know, lay them. I got them looking right. You know I'm saying so. Whoever got the jokes jokes on you, but I'm still gon na slay. Anyway, hey hey! It'S looking pretty good, but I like to take a little bit of my got to beat glue and I'm just gon na put a little bit over it cuz. This thing is like I love this job. It'S like it's so long-lasting when I sway longer than like. The ecostyler, so I like to mix it too so, as of lately, I stopped using it alone only because it gets such a white. It gives off white white cash, sometimes like a like a white residue out of nowhere, and it gets on my nerves so, and it really sucks that I started doing that to me. Cuz, I'm like I was so happy with it at first, so I just only use a little bit just to go over the ecostyler now and that works for me and make sure that it lasts all day, and I don't have to worry about a thing cause. This thing is like industrial: if it wasn't for that, like white residue out of nowhere, it would be so clutch. So I'm just gon na brush over my edges a little one time with some wet hands. I'M just gon na spray, my hair back just to smooth it out. Before I put the tire head on or the scarf, you guys call it. I'Ve always called it a tire, and since I was younger, I don't think I made it up. It'S just in a Jamaican thing: cuz even mine, even my mom - calls it that I think all right, so I'm gon na use a satin scarf and we're gon na lay all of this down. My scarf is nice and tight. I'M gon na leave this on. For about, I would say, like a good 5 to 10 minutes, it should be good enough. Okay, so I think enough time has passed, so I'm going to take this scarf off and there we go flat. Sit up. Kitchen is looking pretty good. So that's how you should be looking right now. Next, I'm gon na take my big chop here can't eat clippings. This is the kinky curl clippings. I believe they're called so. I'Ve had these. For like it's been a long time now, I would say about two years, just going on two years now that I've had they're still in pretty good shape. Just a few of my clip in like the the clip parts are kind of like messed up yeah they broke, so some of them don't work, but I can just replace that myself, so I'm probably just gon na buy some clips actually might have some lying around Here already, but the hair itself is still in pretty good shape, so earlier today I wet the hair a little bit and put in a little bit of conditioner, but that's about it. I didn't really. I didn't do like a full, wash or anything, and I do prefer to put these in dry like most of the time, usually when I use the clippings I'll put them in my hair like wet, but because the style I want the volley. I want the the ponytail to have a lot of volume. I don't need to put it in a wet and do the whole diffuser thing goes by. I don't need to do all the back. I want to put it in and fluff it out and have it just nice and volume eyes in the back. I'M gon na take the first one and I opened it all up, they're all open and I'm going to begin wrapping it around my little pom-pom back. There and boom snap, and so it should look like this, and I know you guys can like see it, but once I like get all of the clip-ons around this ponytail you'll see you'll see what I'll do okay. So we grabbed my next one and wrap it around that and for my broken clips, I'm just going to use a hair pins to secure it. Just secure that end. So I will start feeling a little crowded like like as you're getting all the clippings on. So sometimes you feel like, for whatever reason you can't get the clipping on a spot that you would like it to be on just secure it onto the clip the clippings itself, like the hair. Okay, like what I'm gon na do here, I don't want to go any further out. Then the first one that I put there, so I'm just gon na clip it onto the hair and boom, so we're gon na. Do this one underneath the ponytail? Okay, it is pretty secure, so I'm gon na grab some hair from the back good pick them out pretty good piece. So then, I'm just gon na wrap this around the ponytail to cover any exposing clips and then once I get it around, I'm gon na put in some bobby pins. Why bobby pins are the ones that's best for it? Just gon na keep it in place and I'm just gon na put those pins all around to make sure that piece of hair stays there they're all in and subpart. So I'm gon na take a little bit of leave-in conditioner. This is the communal rose, coconut water, leaving detangling hair treatment. I already did put some leave-in conditioner leave-in conditioner on the clip pins earlier in the day, but I just want to put a little bit more right now before I start to pick it out, then I'm just gon na use a brush. I'M gon na hold it right here, just to make sure it's a finish, get pulled out and I'm just brushing it like that. Just to give it a little extra body, then I'm gon na put just a little bit of oil for some Sheen and what I'm using is natural, Isha's, divine shine, moisture luck and frizz spider. I wish they had a spray for it, though, but it is a pretty thick oil and we're done. I got my cute curly little ponytail going. I love this style and it's so crazy cause like when I was younger, not that I'm like old, super old or anything like I'm only 27, but a couple years ago. I would never rock a ponytail like I just felt like my head was weird. I I don't know I just did not like wearing ponytails. I just felt weird, I felt like a little bird or something, but I definitely loved ponytails now, and I do them like quite often so yeah. I really hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. So if you do have any questions, leave a comment down below I'll be very happy to answer them, but I do have a question for you all. What kind of content would you like to see from me? Do you guys have any specific looks you would like for me to do a tutorial for like what would you like, because I would like to listen to what you guys want um, I'm really happy that I finally got into a consistent. Like you know, uploading regime during this quarantine, I'm just trying to post as much as possible, because this just keeps me busy and the day goes by fasting. But thank you guys so much for watching. I hope to see you guys next video so do subscribe. Ponytails

Precious Kwaramba: Nice video! Jesus Christ wants you to spend life with Him. Truly. He is your Creator Who died for you, taking the penalty for your sin, mistakes, wrongs, everything else that could separate us from God the Father. His death and His life reconciles those who receive salvation, through faith in Him, to God the Father. I hope you’re ready to get right with Him because He loves you so much, and He wants you to love Him as well, on a personal level. That’s why He died and resurrected, to give you eternal life with Him in heaven. Life with Him is the answer; it’s that love that everyone is searching for. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you; to show you why He did all of that for you; to make it known to you personally. He is real. I hope you have a great night! “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” -Acts 4:12
