How I Get My Big Curly Natural Ponytail | Alanna Foxx

You'Ll catch something a girl or just hey guys, Ilana here welcome back to my channel for another video. So today I'm going to be showing you guys a quick hair tutorial. I don't know what I'm doing with my hair right now. I'M kind of in-between wigs, but I also can't really figure out whether it's just too hot to wear wigs or if this is just how I'm living this summer. If you guys follow me over on snapchat, which you should be, then you probably have seen me rocking this big afro kind of curly top ponytail, while in hair I do know what this is called, but I got a couple of requests from my lovely subscribers to Do a tutorial on how I get my pony tail, so big and fluffy, so I'm going to show you guys how I do it. So thank you. So this is just yeah slide out and show you guys all is it was wash it and blow-dry it and just let it live. My hair is a very super thick, so ain't, nobody got time to be detangling this every single day um. So I don't. I simply just put it in the ponytail and just reading the chat with loose all right, so sick, hair super thick hair, very 6, 2 / 6 here, so my hair is dry like very SuperDuper dry like I have to moisturize it every day. So the first thing I'm going to do is start by moisturizing, my hair, with on Jackie's half-and-half hydrating silken, hair milk and I just started using their products. So please don't you know like I'm, not an expert. This is not like what I would normally use. That kind of make my own leave-in conditioner. If you guys want me to do a review video, I do have a couple of products from the line. I can tell you guys what I think of them so far but yeah. I just sort of use me as I am in no way like, don't think that you have to use this. I just use any type of leave in moisturizer and just spray that, on my hair, get a little bit from him. This stuff smells so good. Now, once my perimeter of my head is like moisturize, then I go ahead and moisturize the end. Your ends are the oldest and most fragile part of your hair. So you always want to make sure that you put extra moisture there. Okay, so once it has been moisturize with some sort of water, you can honestly use regular water too, but once my hairs are moisturize with regular or some sort of water-based products, I usually go in with a cream based moisturizer. This is the aunt Jackie's curls and oil, coconut cream, butter, cream and pensive moisture salient so like. I said these are new products to me. I just really like the price point, and I read some good reviews about it so far. I, like them, make smell really good. They work pretty well and I'm just going to go ahead and apply that my hair again, I'm just going to go and apply some to my games. So once that is done, I'm going to go in with some oil and just moisturize my hair a little bit further. My hair loves oil, ok attempt to retain moisture, when I add an oil better than when I don't otherwise, like my hair is dry again in five minutes, so I'm going to add some extra virgin olive oil, yes straight from yo kitchen. Yes, this is some good stuff. If you don't know anything about oil. Try this one first you're here might like it. My hair loves it and I'm just going to add a little bit of that. Actually, a lot a bit of that to my hair /, give it some extra moisture. Last year I cut my hair up to here. I'Ll insert a picture. I look really crazy. I don't picture right away. Would I cut my hair up to here last year the front was measured at my chin. Less April was here and now it is here. What I'm doing is just taking the stem in brush, and I am moving out right here - I'm getting ready to brush it into a ponytail and what this brush is doing is helping to distribute all of the moisturizer and to gather my hair. So I can get it up into the pony, so now I'm just going to gather my hair up and form where I want my ponytail to be. I feel like this is a good ponytail, but Marie I'm going to go ahead and pick from my eco styler gel and I'm just going to take that and I'm going to apply it around the perimeter of my head, and this is what's going to help my Hair to stick up so what I've went ahead and gels the perimeter my head, it would be so nice if my hair just stayed like with me doing that and then putting the bow and like it would just be really nice if my hair did that, but It never does so. I'M going to do is take a brush and go ahead and brush this up instead is up, I'm going to go ahead and take a scrunchie and I'm going to wrap it around my ponytail. Now this part you want to be really careful of, because you want to be delicate with your hair, you working with the end of you here, ah sick here problem. Now, I'm going to fold my ponytail out and just kind of fluff it out a little bit. This is actually tightening the ponytail as well pulling all the other heroes I didn't really get pulled. Is nice and tight? Okay now for the curly, I'm going to go ahead and pick some more on my eco styler gel as well as some more of my hairspray. I'M going to spray the ponytail again just to get it damp and you can do this again with just water if you like, and I'm going to take some of the styler gel on my hand, rub my hands together and then I'm going to start to scrunch. My ponytail now do you guys have never scrunched a ponytail before is basically just going like this just grabbing it and squeeze it all. It is so I'm just going to take my gel and I'm going to scrunch. This is going to help microbes to be more defined and for them to last all day without getting frizzy now, for everyone's favorite part we're going to work on live, it is I'm gon na take my god to be glued. Now you don't want to use this. For your entire ponytail, because it will leave a residue white residue, if you do, I just like to use these to slay. My ex-girl, I used to think I am a baby, is but I've been baby is it might take me a couple minutes till I find them and get them together past that so to do it a little time we go now, I'm not a baby here! Expert. Okay, my cousin is definitely a baby hair. Pro shout out to breathe, accept me 24 years to even realize that I actually has been 18 years now that I'm adult, when I did this the other day in the bathroom of my boyfriend, he was just like. Why do you keep brushing the same spot like understand what you're doing till they and I get the baby head raid yeah? She is weak now, up close, so I mean I've done. This is pretty much it. If I was going somewhere, I would have tied my hair of, but I'm not going anywhere tonight. I just did this to show you guys what it looks like and yeah. This is what my big fluffy Wallen curly wild child, naturally stuff um, hashtag team, natural hair style, protective hairstyle looks like yeah.
