Sleek Ponytail On Natural Hair | Jasminlee515

Hey what up guys, I'm here with a hair tutorial today and I'm gon na show you guys how I achieved my sleep, ponytail and obviously can be turned to fun and you just wrap it up. So I went from having really old hair. You know like a couple of days after I washed it and um after braids out, and I just kind of just let it get really unruly, and this is just a way that if you have your hair going from like unruly, you just want to tame it. And do something really quick? This is the perfect style like it's super easy. You can throw it in a bun too. You don't have to leave it out in a ponytail and it looks nice clean and slick. You know just get your line a lot more straighter than mine, so if you guys are interested on how I create this hairstyle, how I get a sleek ponytail on my big frizzy, curly kinky hair, then just keep watching. So here is my couple of day old, hair. I'M really not sure. Maybe like a week since I've washed it and the braids out - and one not says you can see, my hair is not looking Ziva's. So this is something I do if I just want my hair to look nice, you know it's a pretend ponytail pretty much, so I first split my hair in half because it's going to make it much easier to brush down and um make it flatter because you Don'T want the big bump in the back at least try to get as flat as possible and by wetting that hair just at the roots and brushing it down to give it more of this to make it more straighter. Um, like I just did, it, makes it much easier and I use a rubber band that I'm not going to keep there, but I use a rubber band to hold it in place. I'M not I'm just putting it on once so it's very loose and I'm just holding that hair in place until I smooth down the front and I'm going to do pretty much the same thing I did in the back, which is just what the hair, because water Is your best bet is going to give you back the moisture in your hair, so without any product I'm going to take my bristle brush and just smooth out the top of my hair and do that to the entire hair, especially the front. Then I'm going to go in with the jelly, because it's a lot more smoother and easier to work with and with that product. I'M then going to brush my hair down instead of putting gel on top because gel is so heavy. The jelly is a lot lighter. So it's easier to brush to your hair and it's not going to clump up, because ecostyler gel tends to clump up, especially if your hair already has product in it. So yeah, I'm just smoothing down my hair and having one of these brushes a bristle brush, definitely helps because it can get through your really thick, coarse hair, even though I still had some bumps, but eventually you could just fix that so here, which is why I Use the rubber band, because I can just snap the robanukah break it and my hair is already flat in the back and then I can just tie it up, which is why I separate it in the beginning. I mean it's definitely something you don't have to do. You can just put your hair down. You can just brush your hair as much as you possibly can, but that just makes it much flatter and easier. Now, that's my little new growth from the little bald spot that I've got so. This is why I have to just concentrate a lot more product on that point, and I use a gel for that and I also use it for to lay the front of my hand down and of course, you got to use the toothbrush because that's not any Way, you're gon na get that she's shmove and I take out my baby hairs because I like the way that looks, but you definitely don't have to some people use combs and they do that waved, look which looks really pretty as well. You could do that and now to fix the ponytail part. I wet the crap out of it and then why not the crap out of it? You don't want your hairs drench, you just want it damp and then take your favorite conditioner and put it in your hair and then detangle your hair. Now, honestly, your best bet is to get a Denman brush really like. If you're a curly girl, you need a Denman brush, it really defines your curls and it helps to tangle your hair, so you're, getting it two and two and one just with this brush. So I'm going back in with that jelly and I'm just going to run that through my hair and I can start because it's so light. It just gives a much better look to your curls. Instead of putting a heavy gel and it's a bit more moisturizing. And now, with the Denman brush, instead of the tangling, I'm mostly just running through some of my curls to get that super defined look, which is why they lay straight and then they end up bouncing back and then you get a super, pretty defined. Curly! Look without really doing too much to you here now, I'm going to go in with the edge control and just lay down any flying hair, any hairs that are like loose that I just can't stand and on my little Baldy spot again, just to make sure it's Really laid down and this edge control makes it stay down without being too much, and that's literally pretty much it.
