Natural Hair Protective Style | Drawstring Ponytail

So uh, i said sorry for the weight been a lot on my plate for being great, been popping. It is not a debate been plotting on ways to align with the grapes and find the opposite of hollywood and someone today she got 100. Hey guys. Welcome to my channel, my name is yasser um. If you're new, here hello, if you're an old subscriber thanks for being fabulous, i basically just received a package from have given hair. They sent me one of their ponytails and i just finished taking a shower. So i figured i'll probably wash it, because i want to style it with my hair tomorrow, and this is it. This is what it looks like. I love their little bag thingies, i think they're pretty cute and it's actually a nice place to store the ponytail when you're not using it. So i'm going to leave all the details about this hair in the description bar down below. If you want to check it out um, it also comes with like a like extra uh, whatever it's called like extra pins, you know like the little combs that you use to like put the wig in your hair, which i think is pretty awesome. So it comes with them just in case you want to add them and actually has two. That'S cool ponytail itself come with two combs already like up and down. So i guess, if you want to add the other ones, you can add them on the side over here, and it has like a little drawstring to you know: pull the hair in after you're styling it and that's pretty much what it looks like like so, which Is cool? Okay, now i'm just going to wash it and then i'll leave it to dry overnight and tomorrow i will be styling my hair, so i actually ended up using this hair tool that i got to get my hair like this, and i have a review of it. Coming up on thursday so make sure you don't miss that out, but i basically i'm just dividing my hair and i want to pretty much section the middle front section of my head and i'm just trying to part it as straight as i can. Obviously, if you have someone to help, you then ask them for help. If not, then girl, you can do it, there's nothing hard about doing a line and if you're not stickler for straight lines, it's okay, sis like just rock it the way you want it to, and so now i'm making a little box again lines. Don'T have to be perfect, they don't, but i did my best yet i mean look at this and then i'm dividing that little box into two sections. So i'm making like two little triangles and i'm just going to do a braid, i'm going to use this shine. Jump hold thing: it's like a hold conditioner kind of it's, not a gel, but it's like a holding type of thing, and i'm just going to use that to do the little braiding to make sure like everything is knit and into the braid. That'S why i like using it. I actually just used it on my previous hairstyle that i uploaded, i think, on friday or last week on tuesday uh. That'S how slow i do it, but just because i was actually slowing it down for the video, because i didn't want to like slow down the video. Oh another, exciting thing: i'm going to be uploading like three videos this week, so i'm going to upload. Obviously this video, which is today on tuesday and then on thursday, i'm going to upload a video of a review of a hair tool that i bought so you're. So you know when i upload a video okay and then on saturday, i'm going to be uploading a vlog, oh my god, i'm going to upload my first vlog, i'm so excited! Well, actually, you know what let's wait and see what actually i get into the vlog, because i don't know i don't know vlogging is so much harder than i thought it was going to be, but i'm just going to continue with the little braids and i'm basically Going to do like three boxes: no, no i'm going to do three rectangles and then each rectangle is going to be divided into two boxes, so, basically going to have six little braids. You can do more. If you want to. I think another cute thing that you can actually do is actually do the little boxes all the way to the end. I did not do them to the end. I only did it pretty much like the middle of my head. That'S why i only have six of them. I want to do a 10k giveaway. I feel like we're so close to 10k, that you know what let's do a giveaway i'm going to have all the announcements of the 10k giveaway in that in the video that i upload next week on thursday. Okay, so next week on thursday i'll be reviewing a really cool thing that i absolutely absolutely love that a lot of you guys ask me all the time so make sure you tune in for that and i'm going to announce all the giveaway details in that video I'Ll basically begin giving away the same thing that i'll be reviewing in that video. So now i'm just adding the shine jam around the perimeter because i'm going to do a cornrow or a braid going to the middle of my head and i'm basically just again making sure that all the flyaways are in there making sure my hair is laid. And i'm making a line in the middle and i'm basically going to braid, okay, i'm going to have a slower version in like the little next clip. This was just not at the right angle, so i just figured i'll show you the other side instead, so doing the same thing again here: okay, ages, late now, i'm going to do the braid. I think it's just easier if you watch it, but i'm basically using my thumb to hold the hair that i'm not using at the time and, as you can see, it's just divided into two sections and i'm basically doing like a fishtail but a flat fishtail uh. This uh, what's her name? Oh my god, i forgot her name, but she has a nice comment and she called it an inverted braid or an invited cornrow, which i think is actually a cool name for it. So we'll just call it an invited cornrow from now on, because i think it describes it very very well by the way, don't forget to pull in the little uh braids that we did into the cornrow, because i actually started - and i did that. I forgot to pull in the little braids and i was like, oh my god. What am i doing so i had to redo it again and add the little braids into the cornrow, because otherwise i don't know how you're going to hold them together to make the style look the way i had it at the beginning of the video. I hope this helps you guys out like the ones who are like. Oh, how do we do this braid and stuff? So i hope this helps out, because i have another video that i did like. I basically did like two of them going down and i put some malley hair on it. That'S how slow i do it exactly so just take your time and do it because i do after that. I am going to do my makeup and this is me looking cute with my makeup on you know and hair laid and everything i was feeling myself. It looks so good. I looked so good. I called my boyfriend, i'm like we have to go somewhere like i have to go somewhere to show this awesomeness off uh, but yeah. So now here's the ponytail. I got it in color 1b and it's in 18 inches and it's so amazing. Like look at it. Two clips go in the other side as well and by the way it really really really looks like. Like my natural hair, i actually did another style where i actually uh blow dried. This uh this ponytail and it looks amazing amazing, like it looks so good. I'M definitely going to do the style again, just so that i can show you guys how amazing it looks and i'm just using a pin to hold the little uh elastic band at the back and just to be a little extra. I'M just taking a slight or a small amount of hair at the back and i'm tying it around the ponytail just to make it look as natural as possible. Actually it looks natural already to be honest, you don't even need to do much to it. You can spray some water on it and add, like some, you know something to make the curls pop more, but i like this look because i feel like it looks exactly like my hair, like that and the color is you know it kind of kind of it Looks off a little bit here, but it's exactly like my hair color like when you see it in person. It'S amazing and, to you know finish the look, add some earrings. You know i love statement earrings or like just cute earrings. That kind of just stand out, but this is it for the video guys.
