But guys, if the butterflies for me it's the gold string for me it's the swoop for me, it's the rhinestone clips for me good morning, good afternoon, good day to you, wherever in the world you are, my name is meech. If you're new to my channel, welcome if you're a returning subscriber welcome back as always grateful to have you here guys, it's been a long time. Shouldn'T have left you, but i'm here with a hairstyle. Let'S just cut that cut it! So, no, but seriously guys it's been a really long time. I haven't filmed a hair video in ages. I think the last video i did with like hairstyles was maybe a braid out or like four lock styles, but regardless. If you want to see how i transformed from this to this lovely, lock bubble ponytail with extensions on my thick natural locks, then you're gon na have to stay tuned. And if you haven't already give this video a thumbs up, because it really helps algorithm. And i always appreciate, if you guys can help you go out. Otherwise, let's get straight into this video. So i started on freshly washed hair i retwisted the front and where i wanted the part to be - and i let the rest dry in two strand twists, but i'm not gon na bore you with taking them out. So this is how it looked afterwards and i'm just gon na warn you guys in advance. There are a few song breaks here where i was like just jamming to music, so um apologies in advance, maybe but yeah. I was gon na tie it in a ponytail with a swoop. I have a link in the description box of a video where i had four lock styles and i properly talked through how i put my hair in a tight, low ponytail with a swoop. So i won't really talk too much, but pretty simple, just separate the swoop out, tie the rest and then swoop to the side use some bobby pins. But if you want to see like the actual hair bands, i use because i rave about these hair bands and how to actually put it in a swoop successfully. Then yeah link in the description box and i will link it in the video as well. So this is where it all went downhill. I bought two packs of lock hair and i didn't realize it was crochet hair and i had no idea how i was going to do this, but i decided the string that the hair comes on. I threaded all of the locks onto one of the strings twisted it up tight cut, it really really short and i basically had a ponytail bundle. I split it in two so that there was a bit of brown hair and a bit of black hair on each side where i'd split it. I placed that at the top of the ponytail clip the top away, and i simply tied it on like that. Making sure all my locks were underneath the lock hair, it's a bit fiddly, but i felt like this would be the best way, and this is how i would have done it had it not been crochet hair once it's all good flip the rest of the hair Down and as you can see, it covers my whole ponytail, then i took a few lock pieces and i wrapped them round to give me that ponytail kind of hair wrapped around the hairband look and don't mind that loop of hair at the top. I do fix it eventually just do better than me um, but yeah. Then i start creating the lock bubbles and i used a hair band because i could not get an elastic band up because my locs are super thick. But if you have a thinner hair band, that would be much much better and just make sure your locks are kind of wrapped and inside the bubble, as opposed to being underneath. Not bad huh then just continue going all the way down, just making sure to keep your actual locks inside and i think, as i went further down, i actually used elastic bands because it was much thinner and it was no longer my locs inside there so yeah That is how it was looking and then the last one i just put an elastic band on: that's basically it, but i wanted to jazz it up a little bit. I use these gold strings, which you can find in any hair supply store. I started from the bottom and now i'm here and i'm joking. I started from the bottom and worked my way up to the first bubble, or maybe i went from the top to the bottom either way i covered all of them as best as i could again do better than me. Please do better than me not bad huh, but i still wanted to jazz it up. I got these butterfly clips from asos and i got these damonte slides from pretty little thing. I will link them both down below, but i've decided to put these butterfly clips all the way down. My ponytail, i thought it would look cute. I was going out that night and i just wanted something different. I did end up moving the butterfly clips from where i'd put them. I'D definitely say, don't fling it over your shoulder to do it, but here's the final look. Okay, don't judge me. There is definitely a hairstylist somewhere out there who is looking at this video like girl. What is you doing? First of all, i never said i was a hair stylist, i'm just here to share what i do and i'm hoping that inspires. One of you at least one of you to try this because it was as stressful as hell to get this going.
