How To: Side Extended Ponytail Ft Amazon Prime Venelle Hair | Dollietherebel

Welcome back to my channel and in today's video i'll, be showing you guys how i got this slick ponytail, so i am starting by combing. My hair, i don't know i was about to say, hey, come my hair forward and i'm going to use my edge brush and my eco style gel and brush um my kitchen, my hair does get curly pretty fast um. So i'm going to lay my kitchen and my edges into a ponytail. I did get my edge brushes from the from amazon and then my pink brush. I got from the beauty supply store. I think i have like three of them, but yes, i'm just applying that to my edges and i'm just going to brush my hair, i'm going to bring that into a high ponytail. So now what i typically like to do with my ponytails is use two ponytail holders, um, preferably one. That'S tight like brand new out the pack, and you know i usually don't mind an old one, just to make sure it's super secure or you can use two um more elastic like brand new. Just so, it's going to grip your hair, a lot tighter and i am just making sure all of my flyaways and everything are brushed upward and i'm trying to make sure my ponytail is neat as possible. I do prefer the got to be glued um gel just because it is a lot. I guess more firm like when i use it. The first time i did the ponytail. My baby hairs were laid the next day like i woke up and was just like almost like, not a hair in out of place. So i do prefer that over the eco style, gel the eco style gel does make my hair curlier, but they got to be a glue gel um. It does keep my hair. It does make your hair a little harder a little bit more firm like it doesn't budge so, depending on what you prefer and how long you want it to last, either um go with the got to be glue or the eco style gel, and so now i Am doing my struggle, braid um, you guys, i cannot braid to save my life and my arms were burning like you would have thought i was lifting like 250 pound weights or something my arms were burning throughout this video. You will see me taking deep breaths if this video is such a struggle um. I do prefer to do like my hair standing up. I don't know, what's up with like sitting down versus standing up and doing my hair but um the first time i did it. It was easy. This time was a little bit more difficult, um and i was just a little bit uncomfortable during the process. So now i'm using my edge booster stick and i'm just um against looking down my edges again. I i personally would prefer just using the got to be wet, got to be glued gel um, just because i i see a lot of flyaways, i'm a perfectionist, so i do see a lot of flyaways and i just constantly have to keep going back through my Ponytail and just trying to um get everything to stay neat when you do years of dance and you have to have your hair in a bun and make sure it's neat and tight and clean it's a thing so yeah, that's just what i always aim for. So now this hair - i got off of amazon. I initially didn't make a wig out of it um, but i think my wig cap was too small, so i didn't really wear it, so this is just some left over here. I believe this is a 18 inch bundle and i'm taking a more of a smaller scrunchie and i'm wrapping it around the end of the track and what i'm going to do is take the scrunchie and the track and then tie it around the ponytail. In on my hair and secure it and then we're going to start the process of wrapping the um, the wefts around my braid and it's super secure like i've, swung the ponytail child. You know flip it and all of that slept with it and it lasts. It'S secure, um, i don't use a bobby pin until we get to the top of the base of the ponytail when i'm securing everything down. But this method is super super easy. It'S just. You have to take your time. So, as you guys can see, it got a little hectic, it got a little sloppy and i was just like i refuse to start over because i'm recording and i just don't want to start over um. I might redo it and just do do it with a straight excuse me: do it with a straight ponytail, because ideally this was supposed to be a straight back, ponytail and not the side. So here's where i made the mistake - and i did it the first time too, if you want your ponytail to go straight back, you have to keep the braid going to the back and you create the ponytail going to the back. But since i'm twirling it to the side, the ponytail ends up leaning to the side instead of blending to the back. So if you wanted to go to the bag, make sure you're when you're doing your wefts you're going behind your back. If you want it to the side, then flip it to you know to the side that you want it on, but yeah. That was the mistake that i made but again i've. I'Ve rocked the side ponytail and i went back and i fixed it before, and did it straight back so just be mindful of the direction that you are um twirling your wefts because of the weight of the ponytail. It'S going to be hard to try to adjust it to go to the back. All right, you guys, so we have approached the base of the ponytail and i'm just pinning that weft um into my um into the back of the ponytail or into the other waist. Just so it's secure and what i'm going to do next is just comb through my ponytail just get out any tangles and everything and just make sure it's going to be ready for me to curl, and what i'm going to do next is just pull a piece Of hair from the back of the ponytail and we're going to spray it with some got to be glued spray and we're going to wrap it around the base of the ponytail just so it has just you know the wefts and everything looks a little bit more Natural but make it cute and we're just going to make sure that it is secure in place and i'm just using my edge brush, i'm going to use the teeth side just to comb out any um, any naps or whatever straighten it out spray it and wrap It around and each time i wrap it around. I just try to make sure i spray it with some got to be glued spray again, because you want to make sure that it is in place and secure. Now here you guys, i'm using my eco styler gel and i'm just doing my baby hairs um just to make my ponytail extra cute and make sure those edges and baby hairs are laid, and i will actually have my um edge, my edge video or my baby. That'S why i just kind of sped up, because i already have a video on my channel for this portion of my hair and i will also spray um spread. My baby hairs with some guys to be spray. I again would definitely should wait, suggest these guys to be glued gel again. Your baby hairs will not budge or move if you use the gel or this spray honestly um, but i do honestly prefer the gel just because your hair, not gon na budge baby, let's be real flyaways. Who is she all right? You guys - and i am going to go in with my taylor, andrea label, blinged out flat iron and we're just going to curl the ponytail. I just curl it um piece by piece and then just kind of comb it to make it one big juicy curl. So um yeah, i really don't know how to explain how to curl hair. To be honest, i just curl it in whatever direction um. I think i curl towards my face and then just kind of roll it up and hold it and then just release. I, if that makes sense, i don't know how to really explain it, but yeah, and i am thinking about selling these flat irons. I do um have a vendor for these they're super cute. They do come in other colors, like blue purple, white, um, pink and then some other colors, i think, and if you guys would be interested.
