Hey y'all, it's glow by jo back with another cheap hair tutorial. I'M so excited to do this video for you all, because i know you've been waiting for another baddie on a budget. Look so in today's video i'm doing a high ponytail with a swoop. Bang! Please excuse my appearance right now. I look like cleveland's wife from family guy or a baby bird. My hair is just a mess, so please bear with me it's about to be laid in a second, so right here. You all just see me parting out my hair to do my swoop, bang and, depending on how much hair you part off, will determine how deep your swoop is so for this hairstyle. My swoop was not as deep as i've done and some other hairstyles, but your swoop is totally up to you so now that i've sectioned off the hair for my sweet bang, i'm going to leave that there for a minute and work on slicking up my ponytail. Now, for this i don't do anything special. I use my edge fixer, like i always do, which is just an edge control. You want to make sure that you do not use a gel because that's water-based and will cause your hair to revert back to its natural state. So if you want a sleek look with your ponytail you're going to want to make sure you use an edge control and any other type of gel, that's not water-based! So now that i finished applying the edge fixer to my entire head, i'm going back in with my got to be glue free spray to set everything in now. When you're doing this, you have one of two options. You can either use your blow dryer to set the got to be glue in place or you can use your scarf, which is what i do just to minimize the amount of heat i'm putting on my hair. So i just like to take my scarf after i use my freeze spray and set everything in place. This is the ponytail that we will be working with today. This is the freetress equal, drawstring ponytail in the style, feather girl and, like i said this is a drawstring ponytail, so this is going to be a super, easy tutorial, we're just going to slap that thing on there and call it a day. However, i will explain how i installed mine so, as i showed y'all, there are two combs, so i just stuck that front comb in the front of my bun and the back comb into the back of my bun and then you take the drawstring. It'S just like a drawstring bag where you just pull the strings and it tightens so you just pull the string in the back and it'll tighten your ponytail, and then you want to take that leftover string and wrap it around the top of your ponytail. So after i wrap that string around my ponytail, i'm going to follow that up with a piece of hair from the ponytail itself and wrap wrap that around the top of the ponytail as well and just spray it with some freeze spray to make sure it stays. However, this is synthetic hair, so you can really just wrap that little piece around and it's not going to go anywhere and the best thing about this ponytail is. I have seen it for as low as eight dollars online, and you can also pick it up at your local beauty supply store, so i will be leaving some links down below of some sites where you can purchase this ponytail from. I also like to take a little bit of edge control as well to put on the band of the ponytail to give it that shiny look. So now i'm going to go ahead and add my hair into my bang. You all have seen me do this before. I do have another video on this, but i'm going to show you all how i do it again here, really quickly, i'm just taking some tracks, i'm going to add my glue. Make sure you put the track directly onto your scalp. Do not put it on your hair, put it on your scalp, so that you're not damaging your hair and there shouldn't be any problems with the glue unless you're allergic to it, of course, but um. There should be no problem having the glue on your scalp and when you're removing it, remove it gently and use a glue remover, so that you're not ripping out anything that you're not supposed to be ripping out. You can use any hair that you want for this. Bang, i usually have old hair laying around my house that i can use for things like this. However, they do sell tracks at the beauty supply store, as you know, so you can just pick yourself up some cheap hair to use for this part as well, and you do not have to add hair to your bang. However, i like for my bang to hang down, so i can either wear it behind my ear or i can wear it hanging down low and my natural hair does not hang past my shoulders. So i like to add in a track so that the length of the bang is the same length as the ponytail yogic yogurt down. So now it's time for the superization of the bang. So i'm just taking my got to be glue, freeze, spray and spraying on the bang to mold it into place, and i'm also taking some of my wax stick and putting that on there to help the molding as well, oh time. So the last thing i'm going to do is just take my curling wand and curl the end of my bangs so that it will blend in with the ponytail. So this is the finished look. I hope you all like how it turned out and i hope you enjoyed the video as well. If you did don't forget to like comment and subscribe, and thank you so much for watching.

Zuri Nelson: As a tip for others, in case your hair in the front of your head may be a bit longer so you don’t wanna use wig glue, I’ve honestly used strong hold eyelash adhesive, washes and combs out just fine. When in doubt an oil based product will break the adhesive down
