Shirin: I actually need a shadow root, but that makes sense because I’m Indian. When I did it up to the roots white blonde, I suddenly had smaller, duller looking eyes and my dark lashes and eyebrows looked so pale and thin. I have slightly light brown skin with a blue undertone, so I could pull off the actual color, but my features were totally getting lost. Once I got my roots back, my face looked normal, so I’ll never try no roots again. I’m surprised we have such an issue with visible roots, but I can’t even say anything because until I did my no root mistake, I was obsessed with getting rid of my roots. I do think more non-natural blondes should try them, especially if you have dark, striking features that could be washed out. I hope we’ll see a front face reveal soon cause I’m excited to see how the shadow root looks!
