$63 Curly Ponytail Must See | Is It Worth Your Coin?

Hey y'all, so today i wanted to fix this angle because i don't think this is it. I don't know if this angle is it either, but we gon na go with it so wanted to come on here and just do a style. That'S just an easy ponytail. I'M not even gon na make this complicated um. However, i am doing it with the it's my ray-ray ponytail that she launched in collab with insert name here if you're not familiar with insert name here. That makes two of us, because i'm not really familiar with them. Either i had heard of them before her launch before her collab with her ponytail, but i didn't really like really look into them, but yeah, but i just kept it moving and didn't really pay much attention to them. Um one i'm not the biggest fan of synthetic hair. However, however, i realized when it comes to an occasion. Date night, you just want a quick switch up you're in a wedding. It'S an event. You may need a good little ponytail, something very simple, something very easy. Honestly, a high and low ponytail will never go out of style. So that's my reason for being here and i wanted to support her because she is an og in the game she has been around for forever and i've always liked her um. Always i always thought her content was always relatable. I'Ve always loved her personality as well, and i was like. Let me just support, because because why not? I think this ended up costing me sorry y'all, my nose is really itchy. I feel like. Let me check the price okay, so this ponytail is 63. I know you can get them cheaper at the beauty supply store, but y'all just go with me with this video i have mine in the zoe black brown and i just want to quickly show you guys. The box here because i thought this was super clever and i really feel like more companies should do this. I don't know if you guys can see that because it's lighting, but right here it says, open me first and there's this little flip up little tabby tab thing and i've already opened the little netting that was around there. But it gives you a sample of what you purchased so the coil, the texture, all that good stuff before you open the actual product and right here it says, if you open me, i'm yours forever, so i thought this was pretty clever. I guess this gives you an opportunity to send it back if you want to, because i like y'all, i'm gon na, show you guys both i'm gon na, show you how it looks in a high ponytail and a low ponytail. So, let's just get started all the products that i'm using will be down below in the description box and always check my amazon store. You guys i put my most favorite products, products that i use every single time, whether it's a natural hair, video with video any kind of hair video is always in my amazon store, but the products that i'm using today is not a lot. I'M not really using much mainly just gel, because i want to keep my hair as stretched as possible, so yeah, let's just get into it all right, you guys, so i'm using my three favorite gels they will all be listed below, but the gang is all here To give me this nice slick ponytail, so my hair has been in these two cornrows for a while, so i'm just taking them down, like, i said not using any like real liquid, because i want to keep my hair as straight as possible. So yes, i'm going in with a wide tooth comb and just you know it looks like i'm being super rough, but i'm really not, but just gathering my hair up at the top and then i'm just gon na go in with my gels. The only gel i'm not using at this point is the blue gel that you guys saw the blue lagoon. I only used that um on my hairline because it holds like freaking amazing. If so, i am going to add my gummy gel what i'm using right now. Um you'll see me separate the front of my hair, a little bit kind of get in between those spaces, and this is a really good way to make sure you get that really slick ponytail. This will help lay the hair and also going in right here with a fine-tooth comb, instead of like just only using a brush. Try using just your fine-tooth comb, smoothing just the front out being as gentle as possible as you possibly can, and then to really smooth the hair down go in with your brush, which is what i am doing here, and you guys this brush that i'm using is Actually, from target it's the cantu line - and i really really like this brush this one, along with one i purchased off of amazon, are in my rotation. I'Ve really been loving, i don't feel like they are too hard or pull my hair out or anything. So i will link those down below as well, but then just you know struggling to put my hair up in a ponytail and i'm just gon na braid, whatever is left out and put it in a neat little bun. So here is where i use my blue lagoon jam y'all the warmer months are coming and if you want those slick ponytails without having to do all the hairspray and all that stuff try this if you have not tried it, i have been mentioning on my channel For over a year now - and this is probably my sixth order of this gel - it's one of my staples - i absolutely love it - your hair will stay in place all day long if it's not the next day as well, and a little bit of this goes a Long way, so this is how we're looking i'm super happy with how it's coming out. It'S nice and sleek and slick, and from here i'm just going to tie it down and grab my ponytail. So this ponytail does come in a different colors like i said it is a synthetic ponytail and it does have like velcro for you to attach it along with a little comb, and it does have this like little layering effect as well for more volume. So you just unwrap it one comb and then there's a side piece that you just wrap around your ponytail um at the base. So that's what i'm doing here you guys it's very easy to install. You know i was already laughing because you'll see in a minute. This was not the style. For me, this is just not what i was envisioning. I kind of felt like i jumped like back in time, went back in time to like 1997.. You know it just yeah, but just keep watching we gon na fix it. Y'All always know i i always come through for y'all and give you a really great final. Look: okay, y'all this high pony with this is not what it is. I look like i'm from the 90s: i'm going to church function, it's giving convocation uh, okay, i'm just okay. Let'S talk about. Let'S talk about the hair at least the hair is not bad. The curls are pretty. I just think on me this high ponytail, with these curls and uh. It'S just it's not it's not doing it. It'S just not doing it. So we ain't gon na. Even we don't even act like i made a whole real start to make a whole realness. I'M not putting this up yeah the hair. It feels like synthetic here. You guys um, the curls are pretty. The frizziness is going to come. I think that's the whole vibe of this look, i'm looking at the picture. The whole vibe the whole look of it um. So don't be afraid to separate some curls, especially if you think you're only going to wear this. You know for an occasion or two or something like that, and you feel like you're, okay with getting your money man, i don't know still not in love with it. I should've opened my gut and just said a little pony, but here i was trying to give you guys some variety and i look stupid, so i'm not doing a whole slick back thing on camera because i'm almost out of space, but i'm about to slip. My hair back down and we'll see how it looks in a low pony all right you guys this is what we should have went for in the beginning super cute. I definitely see this look, you could it's a little ponytail, you guys, we've all done it. We'Ve all been here before, but the focus is on this synthetic ponytail. It looks good. The ponytail is cute. I actually did rub my fingers through it a little bit. I did not want to do too much to this ponytail because i really want the curls to last, but i did realize they do need a little bit of separating so just kind of separate them a little bit fluff it up, and you are good to go. This only comes with one comb, and i found that very interesting um that it only comes with one comb. You would think that maybe it would come with two: it's not a drawstring. It'S not anything like that. I think i'm just used to seeing two combs or a drawstring, so this is another i guess way of doing it. It actually feels more comfortable without the comb in the back. So i think i'm just used to even anytime i've worn a ponytail. It'S been a drawstring with a who is text me with a comb at the top and a comb in the back, and whenever i've worn a low ponytail. That back comb has always dug into my like nape area. So i'm kind of like i'm not happy at this point that there's no comb um, but i did have to put little bobby pins right like by the hair to kind of cover up my bun. I could have made my bun a little bit smaller, but my hair is in its natural state. It'S just stretched um. You know, i think when i was putting this ponytail on was. I know i'm gon na get pushed back or, if you're thinking, oh, i can get that off of amazon for ten dollars. I can go to the beauty. Supply store, get it for 10 bucks. Why am i spending 50 60 on a synthetic ponytail one? Because it's cute, okay, but also two is we need to especially black women when it comes to things like this um to me, i'm being straightforward with you guys, insert name here, looks like to me a a company geared more towards of the caucasian people. I'M all right - girls, i'm just gon na, say i'm like girls and there's nothing wrong with that. Maybe having this collab with a black woman can open up the gates for someone else. I just kind of feel like we have to support each other um. Sometimes you just got ta spend a little bit more than you wanted to, so that we can just keep getting these kind of opportunities because the opportunities aren't gon na come if we don't show support they're gon na you know these companies are gon na see. Well, no one's supporting her no one's supporting this and you may love the person you like it's library, i've always loved her um. I'Ve always liked her. So i was like i'm just gon na, buy it and and support and wear it. It'S not even just buying it just to buy i'm gon na rock this i'm gon na go out and about. But my point is: if you don't support, no one else is going to get these opportunities, including myself. I would love to see insert name here. Do like a kinky version of this or something they want to hit me up and collab on that we can do that, just putting it out there just putting it out. You know anyways, but yeah you guys.
