Is what's up everybody? What'S good? What'S poppin, it's your girl, jess stephanie p, and i am back with another video for you guys now before we get into it. Make sure you guys hit that subscribe. Button share this video with your friends or with whoever your mother. Your sister, your cousins, i don't care, share the video but make sure you guys hit that subscribe. Button, like i said, share the video and give this video a thumbs up and comment down below what other hairstyle. You would like for me to try now now that we get that out of the way, let's go ahead and get into this hair tutorial. So starting off, we have clean, pressed hair. Now this isn't a full-on press like how i would do my hair or if she was going to you, know just get a silk press. Now, let me just let you guys know this is my sister she's, like my little model, my muse or whatever, but um. This is clean lightly, pressed, silk, pressed hair and i think we were going well yeah. We were going for a zigzag part. Now we wasn't. We didn't want the zigzags to be like too tiny. We wanted them to be on the bigger side, but we're just starting off with pre-parting her hair and then later on. You'Re going to see me go in with some beeswax to clean up that part now, depending on what beauty supply store you go to depends on the price of the hair. Okay, so i think the hair was 9.99 a pack but, like i said, depending on what beauty supply store, it may be 119, 11.99 or 12.99, but the hairstyle itself will cost you no more than 20 or 22 dollars somewhere in between that range um. But i know you guys really enjoyed the video that i did before. I think it was like a ponytail like a ponytail inspired video using cheap hair as well. So i figured that i would bring you guys this video, so yeah, but, like i said this is my sister she's, like my model, my muse and we are giving her two low ponytails with dramatic edges. Okay, honey, like dramatic edges, so don't mind me and don't mind my arms bending away. I really was trying to figure out how to film this video without being all in the way, because, like my office and youtube space is you know it's kind of small? It'S enough space for me, but not enough space for two people. You know what i mean so don't mind me being in the way. I think next time i'm going to move the camera and the ring light behind me opposed to it being um opposed to it. Being on the side of us, so that's just what i'm going to do for next time, but anyways moving along, like i said we are parting, the hair. This is me cleaning up that part. Okay. Now the things that you're going to need for this hairstyle is so simple: you're just going to need beeswax, as i've already showed you guys, and i think you're just going to need some got to be sprayed and whatever edge control, you use. What that you prefer for your hair now, i'm starting off, like i said and like i did in my last cheap hair, ponytail video. So if you haven't seen that i will link it, be um i'll link it below or i'll link it somewhere in the cards. But we're just going to part her hair off and apply the beeswax generously. So you don't want to apply too much, but you don't want to apply too little okay. So once you have that beeswax applied we're just going to comb that all the way through and we're going to start molding the hair to where we want that ponytail to lay so just comb that beads wax through and just make sure that it's flat just make Sure that it's flat and lay honey now as a sidebar, can we stop and talk about the nails for a minute like how cute are my nails? Like you know, you guys know. I love anything new when it comes to my nails. You know, but sometimes new can get a little boring or whatever. So you know this little cute design that i did you know because you guys know i do my own nails, but it's just so cute, but i think it's time for me to chop my nails down because they are like way too long and with me being In the gym, it's just like way too much so anyways moving back to the hairstyle um. Once you have the hair molded to your liking, you want to go through with a brush comb every well brush, everything, make sure, there's no lumps no bumps and then you're going to go ahead and spray. That area with the got to be spring, and you want to brush or comb that through you do not. You do not want to freeze that in place, yet until you make sure there is no lumps and no bumps so the key to this hairstyle is really just combing or brushing the product through um. I particularly love the comb first and then i'll use the brush. Just to make sure that everything is flat and smooth, then i'll go in with the got to be spring spray. It down make sure there's no lumps and no bumps and then i'll use my blow dryer and i will dry that on cool air. I think yeah. I think it was cool air but, as you guys can see, that's pretty much it to how we get the two ponytails um. Well, the hair molded for the two ponytails. So it's just about you know separating the hair, applying the beeswax, molding everything down combing it all the way through you know, so that's pretty much it! I am right here, i'm taking out her baby hairs and we are going to put that in a ponytail just to get that hair out of our way and then we're just going to go ahead and continue applying the beeswax um in layers. Molding. It down blow drying it and then we're going to put it in two rubber bands. I used two small rubber bands to secure the ponytail and then i went back in just to tighten the ponytail up just a tad bit more, but not too tight, because we don't want to cause tension on the head. I did secure with a total of four rubber bands, so two the first time and then just to make sure that everything was a little bit more secure. I used two more small black rubber bands. Oh uh, oh talk about a mold down honey. Yes, look! How flat that is like so flat! You know it's not too greasy. It don't look hard. It don't look stiff like yes, but anyways. We are going to braid the hair um. As you guys can see. We did use the xanax strips to place on her um on the perimeter of her hair, just to keep it flat, but we're going to braid her hair and then we're going to take another one of those strips and i'm going to completely stretch that strip out. As you guys can see, you see me kind of pulling and tugging at the thing just because i don't want all that stretch in it like i want it completely. I want it to completely lay flat and secure and i don't want the thing unraveling. So i am just going to wrap that all around the base of her ponytail, then i'm going to use a little a little hair glue just a tad bit. You don't want it. You know don't want to go in with too much just a little. I'M going to use that and i'm going to secure that strip just so that it don't come undone and then i'm going to go ahead and i'm going to use my blow dryer and cool that glue so that nothing don't unravel. Now the main attraction, the star of the video, the hair. Now, let's get into it, this is the organique. I think that's how you pronounce it. This is their beach wave curl, and this is in the length um. I think this is in the lymph 24. All the information will be down in the description box per usual, but this is their 24 inch and you guys know from my last video. I really really really love this brand of hair. I cannot stress that enough for these, like quick weaves and for curly hair and for it to be affordable, like a cheaper brand of hair. Like i really love, love, love, love this brand of hair. Now to secure the ponytail, i put a little hair glue on the strips, because i do not like applying the hair glue on the wefts. I just don't like it it's just like messy, at least for me. It is so i just like applying it on the strip itself and then wrapping the hair around it. Now um, i didn't double weft it, so i just single singly just wrap the hair up the entire base of the ponytail, so just wrap it. I really didn't leave any space in between it, considering the fact that the base of her ponytail wasn't as long, but if you're doing this with longer hair, then of course you want to leave a little bit of space, but not too much space to where you'll Be able to see through the hair but towards the end, i just went ahead and i, when i got to the top of the base, i just wrapped it all the way around. Oh, she looking cute already i'm trying to tell you and we're not even done yet. She looking cute already but, as you guys, can see the ponytails they're full they're voluminous, there's no space. So i'm just going to take a small section of hair from the back and, as you guys know, it surprised me before when i did the other video about how well this hair straightens, especially for this to be like a synthetic hair like it's straightened so beautifully. It'S not you know, it's not dry, it's not brittle like it straightens so beautifully. So i'm just going to straighten the hair. I think i have my flat irons at like 350 or 375. I don't know, but i straightened um a piece of the hair that i pulled from the back and we're just going to wrap that around the entire base of the ponytail using nothing but got to be spray. So you want to spray it. You know throughout the hair and then you want to either comb it through if it's not flat, but if it already is just continue wrapping it around the entire base until you reach the end, like that's not too hard right, like it's so simple like this style, It'S so simple: you guys, like i promise you you'll, be able to do it on yourself, you'll be able to do it on others like this style is just so cute. Now, let's get to what you guys came here for okay. I know you wanted to see this with ponytails, but let's get into these dramatic edges now let me make this crystal clear. I myself do not have like edges, i mean i have edges, but i don't have bait. I don't have baby hairs, you know what i mean, so i'm not really a fan, or it's not that i'm a fan. It'S just. I don't know how to do them up until this video like i was so proud of myself, and i really wish i would have left the clip in of me just being so excited of how these dramatic edges turned out. Okay, now i can't really. I cannot really describe it, so please do not hate me. You guys just watch the video, but i mean i just used some style factor edge control and i just swooped and and just swoop through. I don't know curve here curve. There circle this circle that and it just turned out so cute. Now, don't comfort me in the comments you guys, because these are dramatic edges. You know this wasn't supposed to be anything subtle. It was dramatic edges. We were going for that dramatic look, but i think it turned out so cute, especially for this to be my first time ever doing anything edge related when it comes to this okay, you know so i'm so proud of myself. You know and that's why i'm proud of my little sister too so shout out to you girl. You know because she allowed for me to you, know, take control and just basically freestyle and do what i want and that's the purpose of her being my motto with my muse. You know for me to learn - and you know, try new things so shout out to you girl, so i know you're watching this video serena you at least you better be watching this video but anyways. I'M gon na end the video here um. I love you guys. Thank you guys so much for watching, and i will talk to you guys in my next video maybe is tonight.
