How To: High Curly Ponytail / Easy Sleek Ponytail On Natural Hair

Hey y'all: what's up welcome back to another video? It'S me your girl, charrell denise and, as y'all can tell from the title i want to show y'all how i got this super cute. High curly ponytail like it's giving what it should be giving your girl is feeling like a betty okay for those of y'all who are new to my channel. Let y'all know everything that i'm going to be using to achieve the look that i got um before i even start the video, but let's just get into it because baby if y'all, want to know the way. I feel right now, like hella good hella. Fine just continue to watch this video and watch it all the way to the end. Okay, let's go all right. You already know y'all gon na need that pump it up spritz. I got a wax stick. My murray's beeswax gas to be free spray because we don't want that ponytail to move or sheen, and i have my hicks um edges, edge control, rubber bands and, of course, the edge brush in that comb. So y'all my hair was already pre-straightened out, so i didn't need to flat on it or press it. But if your hair will look kinky make sure y'all hit it with the presser comb or the flat irons before you start your ponytail or is not going to be lay honey, so i'm just putting it all in one ponytail, since i'm doing a high ponytail anyway, Making sure i comb out all those little naps that be in the back of my head. Y'All know what i'm talking about the kitchen yeah coming out that kitchen and i'm brushing my edges. Whatever i'm gon na be swooping up and leaving out, i'm just brushing it out of the way. So once i get ready to slick my ponytail up, we won't have no issues so yeah, that's basically what i'm doing right now, y'all and i'm about to just take the murray's, beeswax and brush that all around my ponytail area and spray it with that freeze spray. The rest is self-explanatory, like just continue to watch the video and y'all is about to see basically what i do to get that sleek look and right here, y'all, i'm just taking a blow dryer. I thought i sprayed that freeze spray just to stiffen it up. Some and dry it up so that it can hold the hair down as good as possible because, if not, it's basically still like might wave up depending on the texture of your hair. So once you put that wax that freeze spray just blow dry for a quick little second, you know get that thing on flat flat. So once i get that slicked up, i just add my hair scarf to my head so that i can fix my ponytail and make sure what i already lay down. Don'T move and it be as neat as possible, so yeah, that's, which is what i'm doing right now and i'm tightening up my ponytail. Then after i do that, i thought i was recording y'all when i did my edges, but i wasn't so. I ended up basically doing my edges off camera, but you still about to see how they about to turn on y'all. Ah, baby, look at those edges, they were super lay and super cute, like i wasn't even done with the ponytail, and i was just feeling it already, because i knew how cute it was about to turn out like i did those baby hairs period all right, so We'Re going to tie the hair back up while we gray to put this ponytail in and i'm just braiding my hair. So i can kind of basically do like the extended ponytail just to give it a little more length and also do my braid forward so that you can have like a little height to it and it won't be, like you know, a flat ponytail that pony have A little lift to it, so you just braid your hair pop that rubber band on there and then i added my ponytail holder to the top, like i said, just to give a little height to it. So i ain't got to have no little flat ponytail on my head or whatever, and then y'all i um. I forgot to get some of the. I don't know what they call it, but you know like the black strips or the white strips when you tie your hair down and stuff, like that. I forgot to get those so i have to go old school and just use some tissue to wrap around my ponytail so that, when i add my track, i won't have no glue with my hair. So yeah, i'm just wrapping some tissue. It worked the same way and i put um some rubber bands on there, so the tissue can hold and then you're about to just see me wrap that thing around this braid and yeah. Let'S just finish getting into the video because it's about to be fire. So so all right now it's time for that wrap around piece so that your tracks won't be showing so you're just going to grab some hair. You don't want to grab too much or you don't just want to grab a little bit so where it ain't even covering the track, and you can still see it and i'm taking the wax stick and i'm just laying that onto the hair. So as i wrap it, it's going to be as flat as possible and i'm also spraying some spritz on it. And then you guys are still gon na see me add a little hair glue, just to make sure that it's lay and it's like nice and tight and as the ponytail get older, the wraparound piece um won't get loose. So i just learned, like just add, like a little glue to it um, you know here and there not too much so it don't come through and that wraparound piece is not gon na move. It'S gon na stay there the whole time the ponytail is in your hair, so yeah. If y'all don't do it that way. Y'All should start and that's not gon na be late.
