How To: Curly Ponytail On Heat Damaged Hair | Na'Zyia

Everyone and welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm going to be showing you how I did a curly ponytail on my severely heat damaged hair. So the first thing I'm gon na be doing is washing my hair and conditioning it with the moisture, conditioner and shampoo. Then I'm going to be doing a hot oil treatment on my hair because my hair is damaged, so I tend to do how old treatments deep conditioned all that, so I'm gon na be part, my hair in two sections and then just applying the hot oil treatment. All over my hair, I do hot oil treatments and get conditioned my hair in order to get it a little bit healthier than it is because my hair is some fairly heat damaged. Then I'm gon na be taking our grocery bag. They get away. Cuz. My house shower caps on my head and I'm going to be using that to let my conditioner say some when we live in and on for about 25 minutes and then I'm going to go ahead and rinse that out now we can go ahead and get started. I'M going to be moisturizing, my hair with the Shea Moisture, curl, enhancing smoothie and also the cream of nature. I'M gon na be part of my hair and then I'm going to be taking my eco, styler gel and my smoother whole put in, and I'm going to be using that to some ponytail, so I'll, usually section off that top half of my hair. When I'm putting it in a little ponytail, because I want to flatten that part out, so I'm going to smooth that part out separately from the rest of the bunny tail. So I'm gon na be part in this section into smaller sections and I'm just gon na. Be doing the same thing I did for the Russell 2000 pudding, then ecostyler gel and then I'm gon na smooth that into the rest of my pony tail. Then I'm gon na be. Second, I got to be glue and I'm doing my edges. Y'All know how I feel about edges and y'all know. I love got to be glue on my hair for my edges because when they get laid, they get laid. So I'm just gon na go ahead and stick my edges the way I normally do go ahead and add a little left sideburn on there re also for the actual, currently part of my ponytail. As you can see, my hair is really damaged, so my hair doesn't curl up as good as it could if it was healthy hair so to help me curl it and make it actual curly ponytail I'm going to be using perm rod, so the size of the Perm rods that you use, it really depends on the length of your hair. My hair is like medium ish, I guess in my opinion, so I'm going to be using the white and the purple perm rods, I'm gon na be showing y'all how I rolled them in the next clip. So I'm going to be using the purple perm rods on the bottom, I'm splitting my hair into three different sections and when I'm rolling the perm rod, I'm just rolling it flat, I'm not twisting it or anything, I'm just doing a flat roll and then securing it At the top, so the top two rollers that I'm using are gon na, be the white ones. So I'm using one purple on the bottom and two white on the top for both sides of my ponytail. You then, I'm gon na be using mousse to set the top part in the honey, so just make sure everything's just look down. Then I'm gon na be tied. My scarf around my hair. I wasn't gon na sleep in this, but I ended up sitting in it. Anyway, because I actually fell asleep so we're just gon na go, have you got so then I'm gon na be taking the perm rods out rolling them in the opposite direction of what I rolled them in and separating those out. Then, when I finished separating them, I'm going to scrunch it at the end just to make sure, because my hair was a little bit.
