It'S not your first time seeing me hey babes and welcome back to another video. So today, as y'all have already read by the title, I'm going on a date with my niece Mommy Mommy, but it's not just any day it's Valentine's Day. I am so so excited y'all, I'm gon na insert in some clips of how her Valentine has been looking. So far, today, just gotten out of the shower throwing on some lotion so that can get soaking into our skin y'all. If you don't already know this put on lotion and all that right, when you get out of the shower, like I'm talking about, don't even like dry off for real, like while your skin is still wet, go ahead and apply a lotion apply your oils. So I just went in with the Vaseline cocoa radiant. You don't get our coconut oil hydrated. This put this my arms and legs yeah. This is all just prep, but in today's video we're going to be getting ready for Valentine's Day dinner like I said, we're not going anywhere too fancy just because one year anniversary is literally next week. So we kind of want to save save all like the big big stuff for our anniversary, since it is our first one, like first year anniversary, our first real anniversary um, so yeah I'm really really excited. Last year. I actually did a video on me getting ready for Valentine's Day, and it was also for me to go my man at the time. Y'All didn't know who he was, though, because I was doing a little: no Facebook, okay, okay, um, very much, probably but not a secret okay going with the Aquaphor lips, But now y'all know who he is, and my love is damn. Speaking of that video. I want to talk about our first Valentine's Day together and what we did last year, I'm not really rushing like. I said we're kind of just doing like a chill dinner, I'm literally so happy for where we're going to dinner and y'all. I know my favorite look but we're just gon na trust, the process - okay, um, I think, okay, so usually I would throw on my robe. But again, let me just let y'all know in case some people who don't know that this is even a different background. Y'All. I just got this microfiber towel holder. Why is it leaving little fuzzies in my hair and I already washed it don't be doing that now and y'all, probably like her them all right. I'M gon na get out all of my hair stuff, I'm gon na. Do my hair first because the hairstyle that I'm doing putting on deodorant the hairstyle that I'm doing I like to do at first, because when I lay my edges and Slick everything on like my forehead. If you get in my makeup and me doesn't know that song like that, while we're doing our hair we're gon na go in with the Neutrogena clear and free um 30 spectrum sunscreen, which going away a little extra, don't forget to put on your hands, don't forget To put on your neck pay attention lock in okay, we're gon na go in with the sunscreen, so this can hopefully sink into my skin by the time we're ready to get. Because now that I ran out of my black or sunscreen, and I have not had the chance to re-up my primer like brings off my sunscreen - it's really ugly. I don't like this, even though it's wet, I did not wash it okay, my hair is very much still dirty. Okay, that's why my curls look and they're not giving like. Usually, my hair will have a lot less volume, which is kind of not a bad thing, because we do need a little bit of volume for this hairstyle. So I'm just gon na go ahead and I sprayed the front with some water and we're just gon na. Go in with our leave-in conditioner and really what we're doing is just freshening up my hair um, like I really didn't, do anything to it in the shower, except for get it wet. It was basically just faster than me dousing my whole head with my spray bottle. So I am currently not in Atlanta for those of you who don't know that this setup is different from my usual one and then Atlanta, I'm actually in uh Florida right now, where my boyfriend lives. So he goes to college in Florida. I go to college in Atlanta her I'm here for Valentine's Day. Sadly, I leave tomorrow, but we will be back because our anniversary is next week, so I will also be doing a video um on that. Let me preparing for it and all of that really really fun stuff, so make sure that y'all turn off those notifications, so y'all get notified when that video drops after this one, my hair it takes in like no freaking moisture it like will suck up any moisture In two seconds and then it'll be back dry, but I've learned how to deal with it, handle it and care for it, and now it's just really knows what she's doing my hair did be. Looking like a wig like even to me, sometimes I'd be like this. Does not even look real, but this hairstyle is nothing too crazy. We'Re just gon na wan na section, the front with which I usually do this much. If you guys can see - and the line really doesn't have to be straight like this - is how the other side is looking, you can kind of get the idea. I'M going to take the rest of my hair, I'm going to put it up not in a low but a high ponytail, and I'm going to wrap it up into a bun one. Talk in that moisture and two just to get the out of the way, because my hair is getting long. Where is my Edge brush yeah, the only other brush other than my diamond brush? I have is my Edge brush. The only other gel I have is my literal Edge controller. So now we're going to find our edges and we're going to go ahead and brush those y'all. So much is happening. Okay, I almost forgot to update y'all, but I, like my edges, they're kind of up right now, because I just did this part. Basically, I took those two pieces that we had out and I this was a bun, remember. Okay, so I took those two pieces that we have brought out. I laid my edges and then I took those two pieces trying to fix it up. So in the back I took those two little pieces. That'S also why I put my hair up in a bun, because it'd be out of the way I took those pieces put them in a ponytail back here. Nobody will even know look. Can you see that shade? No okay! So now we're going to take like, I would say, all the way from the bottom, but I don't even know anything about them, I'll be getting it from like here, which is like how my Edge go back, the top section of my hair. If I can't even show this correctly, but like literally like this much, it's not even a lot, let's see, oh no, that is not that does not even hold on what the all right y'all I'm trying to. Oh take this edge control y'all. This isn't even freaking ego or nothing like once. This is down, it doesn't even really move, so we got ta work fast. I'M just gon na take my hands and basically like use my hands to Slick it up, not even gon na try and attempt to make it look like a rush. Did this cause? Lord knows it did not so now all my hair is still a little wet. I haven't put any gel or anything into it yet, but we're gon na get the front pieces kind of wet again these under pieces y'all, I literally don't I literally don't have pants on right now. Nothing! I have like you know a little towel around my waist. So I'm just like a sweatshirt uh, we're gon na take these pieces on the outside and kind of encourage them to curl back up, and then I kind of take the time here to like fix up my edges and my hair surrounding before it gets like dry. I give it a fake tease, like literally just with my fingers, just sort of like kind of sit up in the back doing some John scrunching it into the ponytail and then that's a wrap on hair. Now we're gon na go into the base coat, so anything I use to elima is the same thing I use to lay my hair down. We gon na put into our eyebrows. Okay, we love a multi-purpose products, but now that we're getting into the face, I can tell you guys a little bit of what we did last year for Valentine's Day. It was my first Valentine's Day Ever um being someone for Valentine, so that was really fun and cute. We went out for dinner, which was really good um. It was like an Italian restaurant. I forget, I really do not remember the name um Ben. Do you remember? Oh yeah, we went to preachies and oh my gosh that was so good um yeah. I try to let my the sunscreen sit longer like Silk. It'S my skin, but it's still just showing up like my sunscreen you'll, see that split that primer is is going prep and Prime okay, I'm gon na lay out my brushes kind of y'all, like I said I'm on my birthday right now. So my stuff ain't, really. Oh set up: okay y'all. Whenever I use the dropper, don't be putting a dropper to your face now. Okay, sometimes I'd be putting it on the back of my hand, but if you're gon na put like it like how I'm doing it don't touch it to your face. Even your skincare products, especially your skincare products, like people who use the uh. What'S it called the ordinary stuff and it's like a little dropper in vitamin E oils, don't be having to drop her on your face, so you don't let it make contact, that's why people put it in their hands for it again, because you're getting the applicator dirty And then you're putting it back into the skincare with the cosis foundation, this actually has SPF in it. So I always put on SPF like it's just habit, it's just unnecessary necessity. At this point I put foundation everywhere. I try not to put it under my eyes a lot because we're about to put on a lot of concealer, and I don't want it to be cakey - we're going to blend out with our brush first and then we go in with our Beauty, blender, and it Gives this the more Flawless look by just pressing the product into the Skin? So after we went to pre-chees, it was actually pretty late. So we were supposed to go on the ferris wheel if you've ever been to Atlanta or if you're like living just know. But there's this like Ferris wheel, big-ass Ferris, wheel, you're gon na go on it Valentine's Day. We ended up going the next day, which honestly was like even more fun because it kind of made it like a whole weekend Vibe and we had actually gotten an Airbnb. So it was just kind of like a whole bag. We let the Airbnb and then went. You know that night to do the ferris wheel and yeah. It was just fine. This year, like I said, we're kind of keeping it simple um, especially with our big anniversary. Coming up, but you know we still had to do a little dinner um, so we're gon na go get some little dinner. Huh y'all, sometimes like when I'm doing my makeup and it's stuff. Like one of those Contours he's dressing me out, I used to know how to do my nose, Contour, really well and then like randomly. I just stopped doing it. How I wanted it, it was really when I got my nose pierced that, like me, up with like having my nose Contour, how I wanted it, because when I got my nose pierced, I wasn't really doing nose Contour, because my nose was like sensitive. I just got my nose pierced, and so I wasn't doing any nose Contour, but by the time I healed, like I kind of went through a phase of like no makeup face anyways so like then, I just dad was even wearing makeup and then I just like Forgot how to do one of those ones which kind of sucks, because I like will look back and I'll be like bro. My nose Contour right when I stopped was eating, like oh, my gosh so mad, but whatever we're gon na learn again and now we're gon na get our hula Beauty. I don't even tell y'all what concealers I use. I was using the Nars concealer for My Brightest shade and the other one that I used was a fit me concealer that I also got in my most recent video, but now we're taking Nikita Beauty. I'M pretty sure this is the Banana Powder. One um. I literally heard so much from Rave about it on Tick, Tock, and so I went and got it and I love it. I just pressed it on here onto those triangle: pads got a bunch on onto my arm powder I'll. Do like this little part because I get oily there's some kinds. When I do my powder, I really like the whole just like not feeling in my eyebrows thing, but I only say that, because like I was never really that good at feeling in my eyebrows, like again, I went through a phase where, like I was really good, I feel like in my eyebrows but child. I was like sophomore year of high school, please, like my brows, like Ugh they're, always like they always have like a lot going on, and I went through like an over plucking phase and it was just. It was a lot, so I'm just glad that now I can literally just leave them alone and just put some gel on them and call it a day I mean: are they even no? Do they look crazy? Sometimes yes, but I just don't really care anymore. Also. I'Ve been trying to take a break from makeup because my skin just doesn't like it right now: um, because it's we're gon na go in with the tartlett toasted palette, because it's like one of the only ones that I that I own I literally used to have Like so many eyeshadow palettes for no reason, um we're gon na go in all right light brown, okay and we're gon na put that all over our lid and we're not putting on too much eyeshadow. I just wanna warm up the eye and we're just gon na kind of blend, all that out like out. I am blending blending money the and I'm not even putting that much product on my brush crazy. I already dipped into cozy cozy. Is this reddish shade and hit the mess out of my brush because we don't want to lie? I don't even know what I did, but we're just gon na try and copy it on this side. This probably looks ass, but it's the thought that counts and tap tap tap into a candle, which is this glittery one right here: tap down onto the base of our eye, just to give a shimmer within the whole look, and it doesn't even look bad. So we're just gon na go with it, and Bay has no shoes. So that's where we are I'm now putting on a little glitter in our brow bone, I'm not in love with the look, but I feel like our hair is mascara really just save it. I'M about to spray and then I'm also going to put on mascara. I literally just use lash Paradise. You can get it literally anywhere. I got mine from the grocery store um period and yeah. I'M gon na do my hair or do my hair grow it I'm gon na do my lashes and let my hair dry some more and then when I come back, we'll do lips. Okay, so y'all probably can't tell oh, I almost just fell. I did my leashes. Okay, the eyeshadow, is you probably can't even see that either but hair cool y'all see what else it's the towel? It'S the towel for me: babes we're pretty good dress, but before that we got ta, do our lips and we're not doing too much with our lips because we're about to go eat but y'all can get a little closer um we're just gon na. Take our lip liner, which is the Nyx in Johnson Beauty, I'm using this for years, but I do want a new live routine stuff going on. If you find any cute ones. When we go out to eat it's 8 14. we're gon na leave soon. I haven't wore my hair like this in a while, and it makes me feel so cute. This is bae's favorite hairstyle! That'S why we did it tonight so make sure we did it for Valentine's Day, okay y'all! So I'm trying to pick a top. So we have this one. We have this one. This is more basic, but it has like a local chain that wraps around it's not cute, I'm just wearing jeans. By the way, this looks cute this one's, getting like more like business casual, but not business like. I feel like this one or this one is more Dana. Yes, my love, so it's just like this gold chain animatazz in the back. Oh my gosh wow. This is like simple but really cute and I feel like it kind of goes with the hair. That'S cute!
