Hi loves welcome back to my youtube channel. My name is deborah and if this is your first time, sweetie you're, so welcome to my returning subscribers. Thank you for coming back to watch this in today's video. I'M going to be showing you how to achieve this. Sleek bun, with a little bit of twist to it, because i have a sleek bone and i have a flat twist. So it's like i mean it's so beautiful. If you are interested in seeing how i achieve this look then sweetheart you need to keep on watching. So the first thing i'm doing is to just moisturize my hair um for this. For this style, you need to have a hair that you can work with something that is really soft and very easy and smooth to work with. We don't need knots, we don't need any um tangles, so make sure that everything is soft for you to work with, so you could use a living conditioner now. This is just me partitioning my hair or sectioning, my hair into three parts and the first part is going to be the back and um. This part i'm just sectioning this, because this is where i'm going to attach the ponytail to i'm going to show you towards the end, how i'm going to attach the ponytail next, i'm just going ahead to detangle and make sure that everything is smooth to work with. Next, this is just me, sectioning the front into two parts and make sure that you section all the way down to the back as well, so that everything looks neat and then just basically try to make the line straight. Because i mean we are going for center pattern, so everything should look neat and yeah, so even all the way to the back make sure that everything looks neat and the next thing i'm going to be doing. Is i'm going to be tying this part up so that it doesn't interfere with the other part as i'm working with it, and then next i'm going on to this part, i'm still going to spray, because again we need a lot of moisture. We need a lot, not a lot of moisture, but basically we need moisture to make the hair easy to work with all right. So it has to be soft. Okay. So now, basically, i'm just sectioning this part into two using a tail comb and trying to make the line as neat as possible. So you have to be very precise so that you get like a very nice finish and then again i'm going to detangle that before i go ahead and apply the gel. So this is the eco styler head gel, which i'm going to be using today. This is what it looks like, so i'm just going to apply that and try to get a very smooth base, and i'm just going to keep on applying till. I feel like. I have gotten enough to make this look as sleek as possible because i want it to look very, very slick, so um yeah and then i'm going to use this comb to just brush through. Please do not use this comb if you have not detangled at first, because it could cut your hair, so you have to make sure that your hair is soft to be able to use that comb next. This is just me flat twisting. It is very simple. I have a video up on my channel on how to do flat twists, it's really very simple, so you might want to check that out, because yeah it will be of great help, but basically flat twist is just um basically doing twist normal twist on your hair And just twist on your scalp, so that is what flat twists are. So i'm going to explain right now with this one and i'm going to be showing you like it give me brief a brief explanation of how to do flat twists. But if you want a more detailed explanation, then you should check out the one on my channel already so um, i'm just grabbing hair as i go basically grabbing hair from both sides from the top from the bottom as i go on. That is how to do a flat twist try to grab hair, as you are twisting, like, don't don't twist without grabbing any hair at all. That is the whole concept, so it's just like cornrows but twist on the scalp. So just keep doing this, and this is what i'm going to be doing throughout the whole um the whole hair just to get that flat twist effect. So twist, all the way down make sure you grab the hair and yeah. I know that it looks a little bit funny because i have the twist dropping and then there is a section at the back, but then i am going to um like get everything together. I'M going to untie the section at the back and then i'm going to like get everything together in shape so that everything blends at the back. I don't know if you understand what i'm saying, but then next, i'm i'll still show you guys, but next i'm going with my hair wax um. This is what it looks like it's a very, very strong um. I don't know the consistency is very very hard and it really helps to lay the edges. Well, this is actually my first time using this and i must say it's it's very easy to work with. I mean just put the brush and you just see the hair following your brush, so yeah, so it's very easy to work with, and next i just took a little bit of that as well to apply on the um on the hair, not just my edges. So, like the front part, next, i'm just going to use my scarf so that everything just sits and then leave it for a couple of minutes so that it dries up and yeah. So this is what we're looking like right now and i forgot to put that part into consideration, but oh well now. This is after some minutes, maybe like 20 minutes thereabouts, and this is what it's looking like right now. So this is the part where i try to like blend everything together like i talked about, and then next i'm going in with this drawstring ponytail to just attach to the back the part which we have already partitioned at the back so yeah. And then i'm just going to like tie and move that string all around so that it doesn't show, and then this is what we're looking like. I mean, and then next i'm just going in with this gold accessories to apply on my hair and accessories have a thing to do with the hair. It just adds a little bit of sass a little bit of i don't know. Just it just makes everything to come alive. You know and gives the whole look a different vibe, so yeah. This is just me applying these accessories, and this is what it looks like. So yeah this is it. This is what it looks like this is the final look? Okay, so this is the finished. Look guys.
