There might be guys I call tomorrow, but, like Michael, can't, really trust nobody with all this Joey. Are you my roof? Flip plugin on show got damaged by the ball I'll, come with to Tony for more for cars, inaudible, hey babies, it's join Avon and welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel. If you're new then welcome, I am joy like I said before, and today I am back with another protective style video for you guys. So, as we all know, I changed my hair every couple days literally every couple days - and this is one of those styles that I know I'm going to get a lot of questions about once. I started posting pictures on Instagram and everything, so I wanted to make sure that I filmed a tutorial for you guys on how I achieve my sleek ponytail that I used to rock all the time. So, if you're interested in seeing how I achieved this looked very simple, very quick, fast, easy and cheap, so cheap sit then just keep watching all right. You guys! So, as you can see, I've already washed and conditioned my hair, and if you want to know what price I used to do, that, I just use the cream of nature pure honey, shampoo and conditioner. And I used that one because I knew it was going to make my hair really soft and really manageable. So since my hair is shorter, I kind of need something to really soften my hair so that I can get it to actually go into a ponytail or a bun. If your hair is stretched. Obviously you don't have to worry about that. It doesn't have to be freshly washed. I just had some products in my hair prior to this, and I wanted to get one of them out, so I had to wash my hair now. I do have other tutorials here on my channel, where I show you guys how to slick your hair back or to slick your hair up into a ponytail or a bun, but it's been about. I want to say a year, or maybe over a year since I've actually done a ponytail and I never filmed a tutorial for it. The last time I wrapped one - and I got a lot of questions, so I just wanted to make sure that I did film a tutorial for this, so just to go through the steps I'm going to use my eco styler gel. This is the olive oil eco styler gel in the green jar, and I'm going to be using my wooden double-sided bristle brush. It'S like hard on one side and soft on the other side. So this is basically all you're going to need and obviously you're going to need some type of hair, scrunchie or hair tie. This is my hair tie from goodly miss by a brand called googly, and these are actually headbands, but they don't have any wiring on it. So it's not gon na snag your hair, so I'm not gon na. Take your hair out and it comes in like a pack of like 8 and they're, like I want to say, maybe a dollar or two dollars at Walmart. So that's what I'm using and that's all you're going to need. So one of the things that I would say is imperative for you to do when slicking your hair back or up especially for here as short, is you need for it to be wet or damp? At least my hair is still kind of damp like in the front and everything, but in the back I might need a little bit more water, so just to in case keep a spray bottle of water on hand. I have a line right here. Oh I lied. Okay, one more thing you're gon na need is a pic. I don't know how I forgot a pic, but what I like to do is I like to take my hair into the direction that I want it to go. So I want this to be a pretty high ponytail, so I'm gon na have to pick the front back not too far, but I'm going to have to pick the back up really far, and this is why I suggest you doing this to your hair. While it's wet or just really soft, because it's a lot easier and you want to make sure you pick out your hair at the top too just so that it can kind of stretch a little bit just so that it's enough for it to actually go into A ponytail now, as you can see since I picked out the top of my hair, I can actually put it all around my hand and get it into a ponytail so now really quickly before I lose this lint, I'm going to tie my hair up. Okay, so obviously, at this point we now have our little puffball. So the next thing that I want to do is add some oil to my edges before I just slap the gel onto my hair and what this is going to do. Is it just going to keep my edges and my temples and everything nice and moisturized? While I have this style, I'm using the Urban hydration honey, argan oil and sweet vanilla bean extract growth in repair hair oil? So what this is going to do, as well as just keeping my hair moisturize, it's also going to promote hair growth and another oil you can use. If you don't have this one is you can just use whatever is you're making black castor oil? You have that. Will definitely help if you're looking to grow your edges back or just make your edges thicker that oil definitely helped me with that issue. So I can speak to that so now that my edges are all ready for now we're just going to take a decent amount of eco styler and slap it all over our hair. You guys asked me how I get my hair to lay down. This is how I do it and, as you can see, I am using a lot of gel, but this is why I washed my hair in the first place, because I did not need for anything to counteract with this gel, because mainly I just want to have This gel in my hair in some water. I know someone asked me before why don't I typically apply gel with my hands instead of using like a brush or a comb or something? And it's just because I don't like to get products all over my hands like it's really uncomfortable. For me, it's like a texture thing. I don't like it okay, so I rather use a tool so the t2. This is after your gel is applied before I even brush my gel. I spray my hair again with some water, and now I can go ahead and brush my hair, alright. So now that our hair is a pretty much slick, there's still certain areas that are sticking up and that's normal. I just want to make sure that I bobby pin them down with a black bobby pin just so that it's a lot less noticeable that there's a bobby pin there, because there is certain parts of my hair that is shorter, like I know here on the sides. In some areas and in the back now, here's the fun part, the actual ponytail. So this ponytail is from Sam's Beauty. I will leave the link to this exact ponytail down below in the description box, for you guys to check out, but this is by the brand sensational. This is their instant pony. It is a perm yaki texture. It is 30 inches. I believe this is and the color is 1b and I was really looking forward to this and was really excited about finding this ponytail in particular, because it mimics natural hair, texture blown out perfectly, and this hair is so soft. Now most definitely you can go with the dupe and just use. You know some everyday typical braiding hair, but I would highly suggest using a drawstring ponytail, because let me tell you guys I have been doing here for an long. I'Ve been doing drawstring ponytails on myself. Ponytails buns everything on myself for a long time: okay and there's nothing like a good, secure, dropping ponytail, where you don't have to wrap the hair 50,000 times. You don't have to place ten thousand bobby pins in your hair, like I would just suggest getting a drawstring boat and say: oh so I wasn't very excited about this. So, as you can see here, there are two clips in this: a ponytail there's a one at the front and there's one at the bottom and then, of course you have your drawstring for you to secure the hair. So all that you're gon na need to do is you're going to clip the ponytail on your hair at the top make sure your bun or your pup is in there and then lift it at the bottom and then take that drawstring and a pull it tight Onto the hair, so now what you're going to do with this is you're just going to wrap it around your hair and what this really does. Is it secures the heck out of your ponytail, like she's, not gon, na move or go anywhere now from here? What I like to do is just take a extra piece of the hair and wrap it around so you're gon na go underneath. So from this point forward. Of course you can go ahead and play with your baby hairs and make the oil fancy and squeak and cute and fun, and all of that, but I'm not into that. So this is as good as it gets for me, but there you have it. You have a cute fine, a sleek sexy ponytail and it was quick and easy. You can do it in like 10 minutes and be out the door. Alright, you guys, so that's pretty much it for today's video. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did please let me know and hit that like button down below as well as leave me any comments or questions that you might have about this hair in particular down below, or you know, just anything that I did in this video, so this hair overall, I would definitely recommend it like I said before. I always recommend drawstring ponytails. This one in particular, is great. If you are a natural like me and it blends seamlessly like I said they have a lot of different color options. You can get this in a ombre shade as well, which i think would be really funky really fun for summertime too, if you're looking for that type of a style and what I will say is to keep the longevity in this hair and any type of drawstring Clothes Hale in general be sure to take these off at night and just you know, store them somewhere and just keep your hair in the ponytail like in your little bun. If you want to continue wearing the style that way, you don't have to worry about the hair getting tangled or knotting up on you, because you know it is cheaper hair, it's not like growing out of your scalp or anything. So you do want to make sure you take care of it and, as far as flicking your hair down and to keep your hair like this, I would just suggest you sleeping on it overnight with a scarf make sure you wrap your hair up at night with A scarf make sure your hair is wet before you put your scarf on and it will stay this slick in this week for the rest of the week. I promise you I've done it for so many years, and that is my technique that is bootie. I will be linking this ponytail in the description box down below, for you guys to check out if you want to purchase it as well as just browse Sam's Beauty, calm in general. Whenever I do these types of styles, you guys know the hair is always from Sam's Beauty. They have everything, that's just so affordable.
