Please don't be ugly, please don't be ugly! Okay! Here we go here. We go here. We go me okay, guys, so the first part is of course i got ta take off my bonnet. I kind of already had my hair up from another style but yeah. This is what my hair is looking like um, but it is 4c and you know what other stuff, whatever okay. So first i'm going to be going in with my eco styler and i'm just going to put it all around my hair, probably spraying my hair with some water, and this is a spray bottle that my sister got me from amazon. So, like it sprays like really long like look, i just got everything wet, but yeah just lay that around the perimeter. Okay and then i'm taking my eco styler gel. This is the argan oil and i'm just putting it all around the perimeter. And now i want this ponytail to be kind of high, but not too hot, it's probably just in the middle of my head. I think that's what i'm gon na do. I actually did post a slick back ponytail video on here before that was like four or three years ago. So you know times have changed and we've just been doing nothing but growing and stuff. I don't know what i'm talking about, but yeah so got that all done and i'm actually gon na go and grab my mirror real, quick because right now, i'm just like looking into the camera the little screen and like what is that doing. For me, okay, there. We go so i'm just gon na um kind of be looking over here, a little bit. Look at this hair, all right! So now i have my dirty hard bristle brush and i'm just brushing my hair back, but i make sure that when i'm doing the sides, i do it in like a swooping motion as opposed to it all just going. You know straight back and then the back is just you know straight up, okay and now i'm actually gon na take my um denim. However, you say it brush just to like brush through my hair, just so that it's like all untangled and like it lays a little flatter. This is really killing my arms. Oh my god. I don't know if this is actually like, really straining or if i'm just weak, probably a combination of both - i don't know. Okay and now we're gon na add more gel so like this is just a fair warning. This style takes a lot of gel um. I don't know if it's mainly because of the texture - well yeah, okay, yeah, it's mainly because of the texture of my hair. My hair is really thick and it's 4c. So you know a little extra love. Okay, take my dental brush, and then i mean no. This is the hard bristle brush and just uh, starting again so yeah, and that just made it go back even smoother than before. Okay and then i'm taking my two um hair ties. I did two just for like the extra security they're kind of small though, but that's that's whatever all right. So then, that's when i started gripping my hair back for my ponytail and tie it as tight as possible. My fingers can barely fit through it. Oh my god, my fingers are stuck, but i'm trying to pull it through. Oh my god, it's not coming there! Okay! Okay, i got it, i got it, i got it okay, so i tied it pretty tight, but you can see like the hair is not like all smooth yet so what do we? Do? We add one chalk, i'm telling you this just this takes so much gel. It'S crazy and be generous, be very generous with each layer of gel that you put on your hair and also the bottom. I just filled all my products. Well, not all of them, but like this one was full but bobby. Pins are also going to be your best friend as well. Um, okay, take the hard bristle brush again and then remember souping it, and then also. This is what we're going to add in our edge booster um, i like to put um my edge control actually over my like on my head and not just look all this, my stuff um, not just on my edges. This just makes the hair, in my opinion, just lay even flatter and look even slicker. Okay, but then, once you put the edge control on don't go back through with your brush, because that's don't go back with your brush. You just take your um yeah. There'S a space right here, i'm actually um taking that hair out anyway, for my own sides, yeah and then we just stick in our bobby, pin there and then we're going to the middle part. Oh and then i'm sorry, it just looks so slick and then we're going through with the um edge control. Like do you see this? Let me zoom in for y'all hold up, do y'all, see it see it y'all see it yeah, yeah, okay, okay and then i'm going back in and putting the bobby pins. Okay um! I don't know. I can't remember, if i put gel over here, but it doesn't hurt to put more and then i'm going through again with the hard bristle brush and then, of course, another bobby pin. It just popped right out of my hand, okay and then i'm going to brush out my edges, um very gently, and then i'm going to take my rat tail comb to take out like that, okay and then um. I don't want my hair to like frizz up or anything so i'm gon na put more edge control on it and don't forget the back you're, not probably not really gon na see it for extra hold. I'M gon na um do the got to be holding spray. Okay and then i'm going to put on my head scarf, which is actually just a pair of tights, that i cut, because i like the elastic um, the elastic texture and we're just going to put that on make sure it is tight. Okay. So now i'm moving on to my edges and i just take my edge booster and just place it on my hair and i go in with my um. Oh, my god, my rat's, so cool and i'm just doing basic swoops here, nothing crazy and i'm actually going to take my scarf off again when i finish doing my edges, so i can blend in to that hair and then for the side ones, i'm just taking Them out and just covering them in the edge booster and then put it like that, so it's, oh, i just realized, there's still a strand that used to come out, okay and then we take it we're taking our brush. I mean our comb and we're just combing. It down kind of like that and then we're going to the middle, but i'm making sure i leave out a strand. Also. I decided to do this video in real time. So, like you can you guys can actually see like actually how long this takes to actually achieve this. Look because some people see videos that are like 10 minutes long they're, like oh, shoot, only 10 minutes. I could do this, but it's not really 10 minutes. It'S like a half hour or like an hour like you know so now i it kind of cut off a little bit, but i got that done and now that i'm here in the middle well off to the side, i'm putting my gel on that and then This is the part of the hair, where i'm doing like a little swoop kind of like that, and then i'm going to take off the wrap, just real, quick and then i'm going to take this brush and kind of no take this brush and kind of just Like brush it into the hair, like that, okay quickly put this back on, so the hair can finish laying down. So the hair that i'm using is the jamaican reggie style, 3x expression, caribbean of braiding hair. This is just the packaging, but i really love this hair. Like this is my go-to hair, for, like any of my styles like, i really love the texture, and i love the length because if the hair is not down to my ankles, i don't want it get it away from me, but yeah. This is what the hair looks like, and it just already came with the rubber band on it, which is perfect, like actually show you guys like what i'm doing. Oh almost fell off the dang bed, all right so now, i'm just tying the hair onto my hair and i'm just gon na like that. Oh yeah, okay. So, turning back to the front, i'm gon na take a strange two strands of hair out and put it up and out the way i'm going to take some bobby pins and take the hair from the sides and just pin it under and that's still the same As the way i oops, as i did um all those years ago, but yeah just take some strands from each side so that it's like covering the whole base. If you know what i'm saying and then i take my bobby pin and then i pin it like that, and then i take my strand and then i just begin wrapping it around the base and then once i reach the end of it. I just take my bobby, pin and pin it oops. I lost where i had it, but i think i need to put it under too and then that's our ponytail. I think it's better to leave your real hair like long because this is supposed to match your 4c hair anyway and like if it blows in the wind. It'S not gon na like all blow forward and they see like you, have a tiny little bun like in between of his hair, so yeah, okay y'all. So i have my hair sitting for a little minute and now it's time to take off the scarf, and i am so excited so here we go, i'm just gon na. Take it off. Please don't be ugly, please don't be ugly! Okay! Here we go here. We go here, we go, i'm sorry, i just got so emotional. This looks so good. Look. Let me zoom in for you guys real quick, because this so yeah. This is what it looks like. I'M really happy with how it turned out. Thank you guys for watching make sure
