Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so we're going to jump straight into today's video is going to be on this sleek low ponytail look with a design in the middle. So, if you're interested in seeing how I got this look keep on watching. Okay! So here's my hair fresh off of wash day and I like to let my hair dry overnight like this and then next you'll just see me unraveling the twist, and this actually allows my hair to be a little more stretched for my styling portion of the video And I only style on dry hair unless I'm doing some type of style, where my hair needs to be wet. But here you'll just see me splitting my hair straight down the middle and then also creating a part on each side, and this will just create two sections up top alright and then, as you can see, I am securing each section with an absolute band and these Actually are pretty colorful, I got them from my local beauty supply store and I just thought they would be really cool in this video, alright. So next we're gon na move into the design portion of the video. Now, honestly, guys, this part of the process was completely a freestyle. For me, I have never attempted to put my hair in this type of a hairstyle before so we're gon na definitely go ahead and just wing it and give it a try. Okay, so here you'll just see me parting off my first section to create my design and I'm going to split up the section and just apply a edge control on the edge control that I am using is the one I normally applied to my daughter's hair. But I figured I'd go ahead and give it a try. I'Ll have the name of the edge control in the description box below and then I'm also going to just smooth it through with my edge brush and then apply a rubber band to that section. Okay, so once you're done, you should have four sections on each side and then just slightly detangle each section to make it easier for a manipulation. Alright. So what I'm going to do? First, is I'm going to twist up two sections together and I'm going to start off with a two strand twist: French braid. So basically I'm going to take two sections together twist them up and then I'm going to combine other sections into that section. And then it's probably easier for you to just watch me as I go, but make sure that you hold the hair as taut as possible and then just combine the other sections within that section and then in the end you just want to secure it down with A rubber band and I'll show you that step in the as well okay, so once you're done, securing that section with the rubberband go ahead and pull on it, just to make sure that that section is secure, and this is how it should look next you're going To create a flat twist, both on the left and the right side of this section, okay, so now I'm just going to take three outlets bands and simply put my hair into three individual buns. Just so I can get the fun section out of the way and a focus on the back section. Okay, so because my hair is natural, it takes a lot of effort for me to create a sleek low ponytail, so I have to create it in sections now. I didn't show the entire process on video, but if you want to see how I get my hair, nice and sleek and into a low ponytail, just let me know in the comment section below and I'll do that video for you guys, okay! So now that I'm done with the back, I'm gon na focus my attention on the front. So I'm going to detangle with a wide toothed comb. This koma actually purchased from my local beauty supply store and then next I'm going to follow up with my edge control, which is going to be just the eco styler gel, and I want to smooth that, through with this hard bristle brush that I purchased from Sally's. Honestly guys this is going to be a staple brush that I use in my regimen whenever I'm trying to attempt a sleek ponytail of any kind. I definitely highly recommend this brush and if I can locate the name of the brush, I will put it in the description box for you guys to check out and for my ends in the back, I'm going to create about five or six two strand twists and I'M just going to mold them into a a bun, okay and so further sleek down my hair. I am going to add some got to be fluid gel and this is going to tame any flyaways and just to make sure that my edges are laid now. I am going to turn around and I'm on a freeze frame here. Just so you can see how healthy shiny and just the luster of my natural hair, when it's all sleek and into a low ponytail. I am going to add a bobby pin to the middle design section and then just sleek down a few baby hairs in front next, I'm going to apply multiple scarves to my hair, just to further flatten down the style and to keep my hair, nice and sleek. Okay, so I waited one hour before I moved all of my scarfs, and this is the finish result. So it looks nice and sleek and it's time to add my drawstring ponytail. So I purchased my ponytail online and it's titled the Jamaican doll and I got it in a color 1b. Now this ponytail looks great straight out of the package. It has very nice uniform curls and it's really really gorgeous, but I like a volume I like texture, so I'm going to go ahead and just separate each individual strand once as you can see here - and this is gon na - give it the nice volume and just Luscious texture that I am looking for and that I feel really really blends well with my natural 4c hair. Alright, so I'm just going to go ahead and apply the appointee tail and, as you can see off the back, I am loving it. I love the balance. The movement the blend - all of that, and I really really think this is going to be a staple as far as my drawstring ponytail collection goes alright, so I'm just going to secure it with a bobby pin - and this is the finished result guys that's a wrap On today's video, if you enjoyed it, be sure to give this video a big thumbs up, it's been awhile since I created a nice sleek low ponytail look, so I definitely enjoyed doing this video for you guys today and also share this video. If you feel it will be helpful to someone else subscribe, if you haven't already - and I will see you in my next one - bye guys

Loveandloyalty: Gorgeous I just bought that ponytail today but wasn't sure how I should style my natural hair with it. I'll definitely be trying this!
