Sleek Ponytail On Natural 4C Hair | Quick & Easy Hairstyle | Janay Way

Let'S go ahead and get into this hair, alright, so I'm starting on freshly washed hair. This is my hair freshly washed and conditioned no product or anything in it. So I'm going to go ahead and put some leave-in conditioner and it's a moisturizer, probably some oil, all that good stuff in my hair. So I can start styling it ok. So this is my hair freshly washed. The condition I put some leave-in conditioner in here detangle did put some moisturizer and applied some oil to holding that moisture excuse these little ends here that are just dangling this one off, so I'm gon na go ahead and slick. All this up into a ponytail all right guys, but I got my ponytail in right now. So all I'm gon na do is take my hair and let me split it in two: let's put it into the last time I did. This hairstyle was no like two years ago and my natural hair was significantly shorter, so we'll see how this one turns out, but you just want to wrap your hair and just get into a small of a bun. As you can yeah see, then I'm just gon na put some bobby pins in alright. So now that I have my bun secured, it's not all the way, so I never like I would like it to be, but you know what that's fine we're just gon na go with it. I'M gon na lay down my edges because this they look a mess. Do you ever have your edges just lay perfectly one day and then the next they're just like girl? We don't do what we want. I feel like that's my edges today, they're just not trying to deal with me. They don't care. I can't okay, I can't what I wish I had but cannot find right. Now is my setting lotion or wrapping this whatever you want to call it cuz that would have helped lay down my flyaways now, if you really want to take it back, you could throw some spritz on your hair and I hope to do that. But that's another option if you hear curls up like mine and just doesn't really stay down, but I'm gon na take my silk scarf and then just lay all of this down for like 10-15 minutes and then I'll be back alright. So it's been about ten minutes. I'M going to go ahead and take my scarf off and put on my honey tail. Let me this all right works for me and the ponytail I'm using is the sensational instant Pony, / Mikey 30, and I got it in a color number four. So this is the hair and of course it comes with the netting on the inside too comes and, of course, the drawstring I purchased this ponytail from Sam's beauty.com. It was $ 9.99. It comes in a whole bunch of different colors. I got mine in a number four, but here is the stock card just so you can see it and then on the back. It has directions and all the different colors and I'll also post a picture of how it looks coming in the pack. So I'm just going to take the top comb and put it right at the top base of my button. Just push that in then we take the back home and push it into the bottom base of my bud and then without tangling. The hair I'm going to take the drawstring and pull it so everything can be tightened, and this is some so long here. It'S very long. You think so this drawstring could easily get tangled up in it and then I'm just going to take this little and slider piece to secure the ponytail and slide it all the way up to the base and make sure it's just as tight as possible and just Wrap around the drawstring around your ponytail got all this hair. Just gon na wrap it around on and tighten it a little bit more just to make sure everything sticks for and then take a bobby pin. So just secure the drawstring down mine happen to end up. In the front, which is fine, it's no big deal so now the ponytail is on and secure brush it out a little bit and last but not least, I'm gon na take a piece from the back. Don'T want it to be too big, but you don't want it to be too small either I'm going to take this and wrap it around my heavy tail just to conceal anything, whether that's the drawstring or whatever, and also just because I think it looks cute and It looks like you got hair wrapped around it and then I'm just gon na secure this in the back with another bobby pin, make sure you got bobby pins on deck, y'all cuz. You won't need them, then just brush out the ponytail and there it is. This is the final look. You guys get wear it to the back, get wear it to the side, which is what I like, or are you good putting it outward on both sides, so looks like a half up half down ever you want it.
